Staff etc are very pleasant Your charging for the advertised $1 breakfast on my second day was a total frustration. I ended up paying full for myself and my wife. I had a email to say $1 was correct, I showed that to your staff one said wasn’t on system one said it was and confirmed my email. I got home and realised paid full. Why do you refer to me as a VALUED customer?

« Lovely weekend away in a clean hotel »

It was a great experience because it is so handy to many places. I was disappointed that reception did not make the effort to add the 1 dollar breakfast on when I booked an extra night with reception. They didn't go out of their way to see if it could happen. Nice clean room though.

« Somewhat disappointing »

I dined in-house and had the fish which included scallops. The scallops did not come with the meal as per menu. I asked about this and the waitress said they would come. They came some 10 minutes after I had finished my main and were vaguely warm on the outside and cold in the middle. I commented on this to the waitress who said she would tell the chef. Very disappointing. I was given a free dessert.

We arrived a day late after our flight was cancelled :( BUT the staff were great .I do wonder at the happy hour what is avaiable in the drinks as there was no list and when i ordered a Rose it wasn't included even with the ACCOR card !!!!!!! excellant site room decent size BUT the fridge made rattles and pops all thru the night :( woken numerous times .

We arrived at 2 am as our flight was delayed but staff were there to greet us and make us welcome. Quiet comfortable room and good breakfast. Very handy location in city centre. Walking distance to everything.

Happy with the room. The meal that I ordered on first night was not good. I ended up eating out ...away from the hotel. Had to pay for breakfast ...was informed when I booked the previous week that it was included in my booking.

« cold room and little / no response to request for help until after we checked out. »

We enjoy staying at Ibis Wellington normally and had a nice stay EXCEPT the air con / heating unit in our room was not working. We phoned reception and waited for some results, we then went down to reception - still no results. They asked if we would mind someone going into our room while we were out for the evening. We returned and still nothing fixed or altered. On checkout we mentioned this again and received a phone call that afternoon which I returned when we got home to Rotorua. We have been offered an upgrade next time and free breakfast which is nice however we are not sure when we will be visiting again.

The staff were friendly as usual, bar service and breakfast were great. I was disappointed with my room which was an internal one overlooking the inner part of the building (I didn't pay a premium for it, and I am a firm believer in ' you get what you pay for', however I would insist upon a different room next time I stay even for a higher rate).

I found dinner at the restaurant very good, good beer selection. Breakfast buffet was very good value. The room format was standard Ibis which I don't mind as the beds are clean and comfortable. Location is excellent going to meetings on the Terrace.
