« Amazing stay »

It was an amazing stay at the resort. The staff was always so helpful and fun to interact with. The meals were great, and we loved playing beach volleyball too. The massages that we got at the spa were amazing.

« The whole holiday met our expectations. »

We felt the room was a little dark but extremely comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. We had a garden view room which was quiet and we enjoyed not being overlooked on our patio. Loved the variety at each meal. Although it was buffet, each day was varied, plentiful and delicious. Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly and courteous. The swimming pool was beautiful and great for swimming. Poolside was never crowded and we loved finishing our afternoon with drinks by the pool and all the delicious nibbles which were provided. The beach was clean and the water crystal clear as well as being spacious with comfortable seating. The shuttle to the beach and town were useful and we enjoyed a walk to the port.

The hotel, staff and food exceeded our expectations. To be honest, the website is a poor reflection of the hotel, the services, atmosphere and facilities offered. The views are breathtaking - overlooking the beach and pool whilst eating the varied and fabulous buffet (which catered to even my very specific, and plain, tastes). The staff were unfailingly polite, courteous and friendly, from the maids to the restaurant waiters and especially the animation team. We never felt like the hotel was over-crowded and was very smoothly run. The room was good - chocolates and a daily water were welcome extra touches that gives the hotel the edge. The bed was a bit hard (in my opinion), but my husband loved it! Great that the Sky channels were a) free and b) available in English too. Thanks especially to Sergio (gym) and Nicola (gym and archery). Whilst being at the more expensive end of the scale, the hotel is located in a beautiful, albeit quiet location. But it has much to offer to keep you there, from activities like archery, table tennis, beach volleyball, aqua-aerobics and football. The gym is far better equipped than most hotel gyms I've been to and is not just a 'box ticking' exercise. There's an a mild emphasis on health and fitness which is very welcome but again, this does not come across on the website (thank goodness for Trip Advisor)!!!! Only other comment would be that the sun loungers by the pool lack any kind of foam mattress leaving them rather uncomfortable at times. The ones by the beach were superb as were the lovely showers and changing rooms on offer (brilliant)!

The staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious but the rooms are old. We first stand in a room where the airco was leaking. Someone came to fix it a day later and it got worse. We called the reception and asked to change the room, which was immediately done. The other room seems to be already renovated but the bathroom isn't close to a 5 stars hotel standards. Actually both bathroom are not.

« Breathtaking-I would like to go back »

From the first time we arrived we knew that we couldn't be in a better place. The hotel building is wonderful the staff is really frendly and professional. The check-in was smooth and the welcome drink was a great touch after the long journey. Special thanks to Stefano Tronci who gave us an upgrade and a room with a view to the sea. First night we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we met Massimo who served us the dinner. He is a really special person for me. He was the most professional waiter (I don't know the title of him) and during our stay provided an excellent service. It felt that the hospitality was in his blood-fantastic staff member. I really missed him when he had day-off. For the dinner-I cannot find a word. Great selection delicious menu, changing every day?-really? I couldn't beleive it. The hotel area and the sea is magnificent. To sum up, I cannot find words. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

Every member of your staff were excellent. The food was excellent and plentiful. Every where was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the Spa and its treatments were very expensive and I am used to paying London prices. However, I will be back. Thank you to all at the hotel.

Accommodation, staff and cleanliness were very good. However, we were slightly disappointed with the food selection. Very little choice of vegetables. We would have preferred to have had the choice of some filleted fish. We also found the red meat underdone and sometimes tough.

« A brief 2 night stay as part of a tour, but wished it was longer as everything was wonderful! »

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by smiling and polite staff, and this was maintained throughout our stay. Our room and all the public spaces were beautifully appointed, and the food and facilities excellent - in a truly stunning location - we loved the lagoon and flamingoes. Though we have generally stayed in smaller hotels in the past, we were surprised at the quiet and serene atmosphere. It would have been good to have a list in the room of all the facilities available TO US - EG TYPE OF SUNBED ETC, AS WE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO MAKE ENQUIRIES ABOUT EVERYTHING during such a brief stay

It was a joy. I felt spoilt! I have never experienced such great service (always with a smile) from any hotel staff. Our room (1002) was a little dark and a bit of noise from the generator outside but to be honest, we were not in the room except to sleep so not a big issue. It was clean, well serviced and comfortable. The hotel interiors and outside spaces were idyllic. It was calm & peaceful, well maintained and beautiful. Great food too. Staff all fell over themselves to look after our every need without even asking. It's like they all have a sixth sense! Beach was so special, so clean and totally gorgeous. Thank You

« A beautiful resort, extremely overpriced drinks »

On arrival we were dissatisfied that the receptionist had found the wrong booking and told us that our stay was only 4 nights b&b. It took about 10 minutes to find our booking only to be told that we had 7 nights but still only b&b when we had in fact booked half board. It took about 20minutes for the receptionist to talk to the managing who again said we were not entitled to half board. Ofcourse this was incorrect so I had to ring the travel agent we booked through. They said they would sort everything out and told us not to worry. We were thenshocked to be asked to leave such a high deposit for our room €500 after receiving no apologies for the inconvenience already caused. To which my fiancé had to leave the room as she was in a flood of tears. Not the way we wished to start our holiday. In the end we agreed to a deposit of €100 euros and were given a cocktail and told about the hotel and where to find everything. We did not feel very welcome at all and seemed like no one wished to try to help us resolve the issue. We were just told that we could go to our room. After 2 hours I called our agent again and said we hadn't heard from the hotel if everything had been sorted that then told us that they had spoken with a member of staff at the hotel and that our booking was correct and we were awarded half board status. Much to our relief. Our holiday improved a lot from this point on. The hotel and grounds were luxurious and beautiful. The beach was amazing. We loved the fact we were provided with fresh beach towels everyday. We loved the beach, the water was so clear and refreshing. I recommend the beach to anyone visiting Sardinia. The cleanliness of the whole resort was impeccable. Bed was made everyday we left our room and new towels hung. Little treats left on the bed in the evenings and the bed opened ready for you when you got back from dinning was a lovely way to relax you for the night. The breakfasts were nice, and well catered. A vast choice. The best point of breakfast was the egg bar the worst was the lack of proper sausages. But this was only by my verdict overall breakfast was really good. The highlight of the catering was the dinners. I really could not believe the quality and choices that were on offer. They really do spoil you with food. I could not make one single complaint and all the of the staff were so friendly and polite. You were made to feel very comfortable and very well looked after. One of the biggest disappointments of the entire holiday was ridiculous high price of drinks. I honestly believe that the drink prices were offensive and a rip off. €24 for 2 monitors that seemed to have no alcohol in was seriously unacceptable. It had a negative effect on our stay in the resort as we were reluctant to order drinks due to the fact they were so expensive and we had no idea what we were spending due to the fact that everything gets charged to your room and the receipts you receive have only the drinks not the prices on so you are lumped with a huge drinks bill upon check out. The activities on offer were brilliant as most of the sports based activities were free and the staff friendly and fun. Evening entertainment was ok but not much to shout about. Evenings in the hotel were mostly quiet. We were happy to have received a spa session and it was lovely, however 1hr was not a sufficient enough time to enjoy all it had to offer so we felt rushed to experience it all which was completely opposite to the relaxing experience a spa should give you. I would have to say overall we really enjoyed the place and nearly all the staff were so friendly and polite with the exception of the reception staff who we felt uncomfortable around for the entire stay due to the altercation on day one. Not once did we get an apology from the hotel and to top it off, on the morning of our departure, we woke up a little earlier than usual to pack our bags so we could get them loaded in the car ready to leave after we had our breakfast. As we took our bags to the car and loaded them we noticed one of the reception staff follow us out the hotel, watch us load our bags and observe us as if they were expecting us to leave. Obviously we were not leaving as we wanted to return for our breakfast. They made them selves seem like they were looking at some trees as we rentered the hotel and then followed us back. Unacceptable behaviour. Apart from the few disappointments mentioned we did enjoy our stay at timi ama but would be reluctant to revisit unfortunately because of these.

« Very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting »

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at the Pullman Timi Ama. This was our first stay at this hotel and our first visit to Sardinia. The hotel has a very tranquil landscape, just perfect for a relaxing break. A great pool area and beautiful private beach. The food in the main restaurant is very good for a buffet style, and there are also a couple of nice a la carte alternative restaurants in the complex including one overlooking the beach. Great selection of Sardinian wines as well. The staff are all very friendly and the service is very good on the whole. However the service from staff like Mohamed and Stefano, especially doing their tastes of Sardinia on the lobby terrace, were exceptional We would also like to give a special mention to Enzo the lifeguard. I have never seen a pool lifeguard who is so conscientious about their job. Keeping the pool area spotlessly clean, helping everyone with their sun beds and umbrellas. Making sure everyone entering the pool is safe, and able to swim, even giving impromptu swimming lesson if they can't. All in all, a wonderful holiday. We shall definitely return to Sardinia and the Pullman soon

I was travelling with a Titan tour group - I thoroughly enjoyed the two nights spent at the hotel in particular the food and the well kept gardens and beach area. I would have liked to stay longer.

Staff were always keen to help. They smiled as they spoke. The range of food was excellent. The Spa was exactly to my expectations. Even the DJ gave us a run-down on their gig for that evening! You must be the best in Sardinia!
