The room was neat and clean but noisy air conditioning and noisy refridgerator made sleeping difficult. The corodore carpet was not clean and seeing room laundry items and seeing a service trolly left unattended in the corrodore was not a pleasant experience. I understand construction upgrades and renovations are currently taking place so hopefully in the future there will be less diruption for you and your staff to deal with to improve the customer experience.

Location couldn't have been better, staff were great, valet parking was very convenient. Booking direct through the hotel site was better because of the breakfast special. Only issue we had was the bed/bedding because the mattress felt old and the pillows were flat. I have stayed in cheap and expensive hotels and I did expect the bed to be a little bit better but it was still acceptable

1 Percentage surcharge on online booking was unfair. 2 The staff at the front desk were not fully informed on the questions we asked. 3 The car to the airport was not clear as to the size of car and prices. 4 The Cocoon Bar was not available because of renovation. This was very disappointing. 5 The quality of the room was not comparable to the price we paid.

Excellent location right in the heart of Melbourne, staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was amazing. Would have been nice to be told a reason the bar was closed, also the hot water in the room I was in was intermittent. However still a really good stay, will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately it was one of the oldest tired hotel for our free night ! Tiny dark room stained carpet and tiny bathroom.Carpark was in Russell st so it didn't cost us $45 !! It wasn't a very memorable night for us unfortunately Don't know if I'll reapply for Accor card??

Always enjoy my stay at Mercure However carpet in lifts is very stained and has been for some time other wise a great stay .

The hotel location is great. Close to many attractions spot. Staff are friendly Hotel ceiling need an improvement Shower system need an improvement, its hard to get the right shower water temperature, since the fitting for cold and hot water are difficult to handle, to meet the right output water temperature.

Receptionist pleasant but very busy. Carpets throughout needed a good vacuum. Water drip in our room from sprinklers causing wet carpet. Beds comfortable and good linen.

Had a great stay. Easy to find the hotel and was in a great central location. Service was of high quality and were especially impressed with Nick and his friendly attitude who blew us away with complimentary wine, card and chocolate to help celebrate our anniversary which was hand delivered to our room. We really appreciated being able to leave our bags at the hotel after we checked out. The room was really clean and a great set out, the only tiny thing we would have changed was that the pillows were a little bit hard and lumpy. We would also would have liked a little bit more information about the hotel and what facilities were available given to us at check in. Checking in felt a little bit rushed but it seemed like it was a busy day with lots of people checking in and out. Overall had a great stay and would come stay again!

Clean and friendly. Close to everything with helpful and friendly staff. Early check-in made it a great start to our weekend and we never looked back! The room was clean, well laid out with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water.

I was the one that made the booking on the wrong date. Accor accommodated us when we turned up, 2 weeks earlier than what we had booked on line. BUT we had to pay $75 for the room a night extra, plus $20 each for breakfast. So the holiday we had planned for our grandchild turned out very expensive. But what can we do it was our fault, and they were very good about accommodating us. Room was excellent.
