First time staying at this hotel but very impressed with all aspects of the stay. Nice clean comfortable spacious room. Breakfast very nice, plenty of variety and staff helpful. All staff at the hotel were helpful from our arrival to our departure. Would definitely stay there again. Centrally located for access to shops and transport.

Although we were booked into one of the refurbished rooms at the Swanston, we were upgraded. This corner room on the 12 th floor was superb. The staff as usual were just so helpful, especially the Staff member who rescued us from the long wait to check out. The valet parking attendants were also great.

I chose to eat in the restaurant for my evening meal, the service was slow (35min-40min to be served after my order was taken), I was offered the wine of the month and when the waitress brought it over there was only enough for 1/3 of a glass - apparently you had run out. On paying, I had to remind the staff to remove the cost of the wine from my bill. Regards

Overall we had a pleasant experience. However, on the 8th nov on the date of checkout I had requested for a late checkout till 4pm but the housekeeping had opened our room door at 3pm without knocking whatsoever and closed it straight away when they saw we were in the room. At 330pm the housekeeping staff once again knocked on our room door asking what time we were leaving and I informed her we had a late checkout till 4pm. We felt rushed the main reason we extended the checkout was to be able to feed our baby comfortably. But instead after being approached the second time we left as we felt rushed. The housekeeping staff in fact enter the room straightaway after we left the room. In future it would be good if the was better communication informing the housekeeping of late checkouts and for housekeeping to maintain privacy by knocking or maybe checking with the front staff

We loved our new Pullman room so spacious and great bed...,had to shift the waste bin to the living area...,and one day our room was not made up... we appreciated good help at the front desk.. but staff were busy and it was a bit of waiting
