As part of a large sport's car group staying at the Novotel for 5 nights we never felt like we were a nuisance or any less well treated than any other individual guest. Food and amenities provided to our group were top rate. The only slight hiccup was when we were left standing at the restaurant reception desk for the last morning's breakfast while 2 servers appeared to be tidying up behind the bar, instead of attending to us, and one of them snapped "We're coming!" when we decided perhaps we should cross our own name off the breakfast list in front of us. Front reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and the waiter we had when a group of us decided to dine in the restaurant on Tuesday night gave excellent service. Room cleaning staff did a great job and were always ready with a smile and friendly greeting.

« Great staff, good service, great restaurant service and food. »

Friendly accommodating staff. Over all clean room. Room had a coffee pod machine and had to ask on two separate days for new pods. On second day wrote a list of items to be cleaned and actioned, and all was completed to a high standard. When asked staff were friendly and obliged to any and all request without any problems at all. Walls are a bit too thin as on 1st night, we were exposed to next doors very vocal and explicit activities for hours. There were at least 4 or more involved. Possible party of sorts? Requires more car parking spaces, especially over weekend period. Overall stay was great, with no real issues or problems to mention. Would stay again.

« Room was great, staff were really friendly! »

The 2 bedroom apartment was really big and spacious. The staff were all so friendly and happy to help out. The night security - Akash was awesome! The only thing that was a bit odd was the buffet we had for lunch (we were there on a Flight Centre conference) the food was very different and not suitable for all types of people. Something more plain and more variety would have been better.

I was really impressed with this hotel. We were really looked after the entire time we stayed, and the hotel is just gorgeous. Amazing views, beautiful well kept rooms, lovely staff.. I can't fault it at all. The only thing I would change is the length of time I spent here! One night was definitely not enough at all.

« Letdown »

The property itself was beautiful. The food, however, was not. I was there as part of a large group which does make catering tricky. I was served raw chicken twice which was an incredible letdown and meant I did not have a main course to eat.

the stay was too brief. There seemed to be lots of activities that one could do. Enjoyed the meal. Accommodation appeared very neat, tidy and clean. After balloon trip the breaky was very welcome. Loved the choice that we had.

Food was horrific. Vegan options was so bad. I got boiled buckwheat and for afternoon tea cut up fruit. really. Is this the best you can do. Bad bad bad. Never again.

« Great overall stay, some improvements needed »

Empty mini bar was disappointing, as although there was an order form, that is not the same as being able to choose from a selection at the time you want it. Only 2 coat hangers for two of us and had to wait over an hour for 2 more after calling reception. The room seemed a little dated, was there a long time ago and not sure if much had changed.

Staff very friendly from check in to check out. Rooms clean and inviting with a great view. Location ideal, could check out wineries or just stay in. We choose to eat in the restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was.

Very good, rooms were tidy, views were great, service fantastic. Location perfect. Coffee machines need further attention from cleaners - milk stains in frothing machine were yuk. In-room dining needs more attention, presentation of food could be improved.
