« The stay did not meet my expectations »

Whilst I was willing to pay the fee, I expected a reasonable firm bed. Instead the bed sagged very badly in the middle. I had to sleep on the lounge. The food was ordinary compared to other restaurants and to expensive for what you got. I don’t mind paying but I expect quality if I pay for it. The customer service was great however. I am not Lilley to return as the exact same thing has happened twice now.

Our experience was wonderful. We got upgraded to a different room to what we booked. The only down side was that the bed on one side had very little support. The room was clean with coffee machine and the views were delightful. Thank you.

Front reception staff (and bar staff for our function in Shiraz 1) were very efficient and friendly. Room was adequate. Loved the views from all rooms. Enjoyed all meals, with dinner on Saturday night particularly good.

Our greeting at reception was warm and friendly, and the offer of extra assistance for our needs showed an understanding that went the extra mile. The setting is stunning and the facilities are great. Having inhouse wine tastings and a breakfast buffet that showcased local produce is a great way to enjoy the essence of the Barossa without even leaving the hotel. We'll definitely stay again!

Our car broke down and even though they had rooms online for $235 they charged me $330 it was 4am and had to be out by 11am the room was very basic not even a mini bar . I've stayed in much better rooms for $160 so I don't see how they can charge $330 for such a basic room ,,feeling pretty ripped off overall

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Dinner both nights was good with the chef accomodating my onion allergy. Wait staff Sam was very professional and provided great service. The room was good and the shower was excellent. My only complaint would be the full buffet breakfast, on both mornings the hot food was anything but. The poached eggs were solid and barely warm and the scrambled eggs were plain cold. Croissants were also cold and signs said not to use toaster to warm them....that in itself should have been a big hint to management.....they should be served warm.

All good. The chase lounge however was very very uncomfortable. It was meant to be an option for sleeping but it was so bad we had to pay 45 dollars for a extra bed. Room great apart from that. But the lounge should be better.
