As has been in the past, the staff welcome and accommodation experience has been very good. The food quality in the restaurant was very good, although at times I did experience some unacceptable delay in service in the restaurant at night - I also noticed a table near me having to get up and ask the wait person for service - an apology was received and service was rectified.

Check in and staff very friendly. Room had a very dated feel, smelt musty and unclean. Carpet was loose and lifting. Furniture and floors had visible signs of not being cleaned properly. All in all disappointing room condition. Buffet breakfast was absolutely awful. Most items where cold or not being restocked. Eggs where pale grey and inedible. Ended up eating toast for $64 for two people most expensive toast ive ever eaten.

It has been sometime since our last stay. Wow the changes have been amazing. The most significant improvement has been in the quality of the food, much improved service in the dining area All the staff are to be complemented on there attention to detail, friendliness and making us feel important and welcomed The room upgrade was was magnificent and very much appreciated Congratulations to all concerned with the improvements We will return for a longer stay

Very good service and the room was very clean What let us down was the taxi service that the hotel use , the Barossa & light Cab service.The driver overcharged us and also included his on tip in the bill It changed us $ 80 from Novotel to seppeltsfield and same driver charged us $56 later that night when it took us back to the hotel I will tell all my friends to stay away from the taxi business when they come up to Barossa

We had a very pleasant stay in general with the exception of cigarette smoke wafting up to our balcony from another room. We did feel the room cost was high compared to other venues we have stayed at with similar facilities. Buffet breakfast exceptional. All staff very friendly and helpful.

« I HUGE improvement from about 2-3 years ago when I left a poor review. Very impressed! »

I spoke to Tahlia in the Restaurant and explained how the food and coffee in the restaurant was exceptional compared to when we stayed 3 years ago, when the experience was very poor. She mentioned that at the time, there was change in chef and this is the reason for the improvement. From the check in with (I can't remember the Assistant Manager's name on the Friday evening about 7pm to Reece (the other Assistant Manager), to the food and coffe we had at lunch on the Saturday, to the exceptional customer service shown by Tahlia, we were very impressed and will indeed be staying again in the future.

« Just too windy and hot »

I appreciated the coffee machine and water, there was a slight glitch with the TV it was fixed in 15mins, the room was comfortable. The weather was horrible but totally beyond the hotels control.
