I had a broken stay at the hotel and the staff were exceptional in doing their utmost to oblige my requests. I am aware that there are Hotels that don't cost as much (and I haven't stayed at them) but I would stay there again.

« Great location out of the bustle. »

The stay was good, mattress was too hard and wifi didn’t work very well but the location was great away from the hustle and bustle and with good food options close by. Food at the hotel was ok. Starbucks was next door so decent coffee was close. Young english speaking concierge was amazing ensured we got where we were going when booking taxis. Would stay there again but would ensure I have my own internet access as I was unable to use the wifi for emails as it was too slow or just didn’t work. The executive lounge was great with excellent refreshments.

Overall pleasant but we had a function at VIP Room on Level 3 for 5 days and the function room was stuffy as the air-con is not working properly. The hotel might need to look into this.

Plenty of restaurants to choose from, good amenities, helpful staff, clean well appointed room. Sink in bathroom was cracked and room a bit musty. But I would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Very good hotel, 10mins walk from line2 underground. Stayed there for a week. Has 'handy phone' mobile in the room, that you can take out and make free local calls, free to France and some other countries( not UK), data scrubbed on leaving or when required. Two restaurants + great private coffee/pastry shop on ground floor. Play area for little kids. Some English speaking reception staff. I'd stay there again.

Barely stayed in hotel during day time. In terms of the room facility, bed, bath, etc. are pretty good for the price. About 5-mins walk from the rejuvated riverside park, an extra value for its convenient location.

Room condition was great and staffs were very kind. I have had a breakfast on the last day but I am not sure if it was worth it. It was not that expensive meal but the quality was less then that. You could have raised the price for a better meal. Secondly, the elevator was so unstable that I hesitated to take the elevator everytime I went up.

A nice stay at the Novotel Shanghai Atlantis for 2 nights. Welcomed as a Platinum Member and received and upgrade which was nice. As Novotel properties go, it's a little bit dated, but the rooms are very clean. The room maid on my floor was lovely and despite no English tried hard to greet me when I saw her and had big smiles. The Executive Lounge on the 48th Floor was very quiet when I went there, and the offerings for evening snacks/drinks and breakfast was good. The view from up there is quite stunning towards the Huangpu River.

Very comfortable stay with good English speaking staffs. Breakfast had wide range of varieties and be good. Swimming pool was awesome. My room was on the 42nd floor with a breath taking panoramic view of the city! Will definitely stay at this hotel if I visit Shanghai again.

The Club Lounge by far is the best of all Novotel hotels I ever stayed - stunning views of the Huangpu river matching the view from Peace Hotel. Novotel breakfast does not usually serve poached eggs, but lounge manager Elva Bai personally made two for me, and they were the best made poached eggs of all Accor hotels I stayed, including some Sofitel labels. Her staff were approachable and friendly, deserves special mention. House-keeping is commendable. The maid is well-mannered. She couldn't hear me because I was in the bathroom and came in to make the room. When I came back in the evening I found a plate of fruits and a note apologizing for her negligence. Superbly managed. Location is good, only ~8 minutes walk from Line 4.
