Very good and quiet location, just a few minutes from underground... great staff and service.. good restaurants and excellent restaurant on the top (50th floor) with great weekend brunch. Overall excellent friendly and well trained staff in general and room comfortable and clean and the location is excellent Only negative was one breakfast when my partner almost swallowed a large piece of plastic which was in her food. These things happen from time to time but the manager who initially dealt with did not handle it well failing to apologise orc heck that my partner was OK Subsequently the hotel management acted correctly with since apologies so we have not let this incident define our experience

The executive lounge staffs provided great service. They can remember your tiniest preference and serve you well yet you don't feel disturbed. The doorman (yes they do have a doorman) is excellent as well.

The room was damp and there were mould stains on the back of the light cover on the bed. The sprinkler was covered in dust and it was literally impossible to shower or go to the toilet without being a little visible for the other person.

Flight diverted due to cyclone in Shanghai. Email sent to hotel and no response even after 3 days. Got charged for room

I booked the room on Friday morning and I expected to arrive in Shanghai by around 11pm. I mentioned this as a note in the booking as well ( that I will be landing at around 11pm and arriving before 1am). However, my flight from Sri Lanka was diverted to Bangkok due to closure of Shanghai airport and then eventually I had to return to Sri Lanka. While still stranded inside the plane in Bangkok, around 11:30pm Shanghai time, I sent an email to the hotel ( h3…) informing of the closure of the airport and my not being able to make it to the hotel and asking to cancel my booking at no cost. I'm yet to hear back from the hotel. This is my first time booking directly on your website and I fully regret not using a 3-rd party site like Booking.com or Expedia who would have intervened on my behalf by now had this happened to a booking done through them.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a corner room on 35th floor. Perfect room with views of Pu Dong River and Sanghai skyline at sunrise n sunset. Hotel has all you need, 4 restaurants of different price range and menus, a spa, gym, indoor pool. Metro is 10 minute walk. Staff are friendly, although few speak English...they find staff who can communicate with you. Excellent service from the concierge, Kobe, who gave clear directions and suggestions for a solo traveller . Beatriz, the guest relation manager, was most accommodating and professional. This hotel exceeded my expectations for 4 star in China.
