Water faucet in the bath room was broken and could not swich to faucet from shower. Asked service but no response. (I do not know that the repair was impossible or no action) Water pressuer for shower was definitely not enough.

When we checked in , the guest relation manager namely Mr. Baptiste Herman was so great that all of us felt so happy and warm. After dinner , we went to 50 fl the top restaurant received a best reception ever, a young man called Roy Wang served us so nicely that I deceided to order whole bottle of Gin to celebrate a great night with Philippines live music band. We have a great stay with you in Shanghai , will surely go there again next trip Anddy C. +6…

Staff is very friendly though don’t speak English good enough to be of full service to customers needs and questions. The hotel itself is old and even though they write the rooms are renovated, it must have been years ago.

The room was close to the lift lobby which could be quite noisy. In my Dec stay you remembered to put the razor in the toilet, but not in the last one. I wonder how your system processes reminders.

« Value for money deal @ Novotel on 7th/8th Jan »

It was a very pleasant experience in staying @ Novotel.The best part is reception assistance. Since we were landing Shanghai early morning on 7th Jan 2018, we requested hotel to give us early check in if possible during online booking (standard time for checking is 2'o clock in afternoon). To my surprise, when we reached at hotel @ 7.30 am on 7th Jan, the reception does not even ask that we are too early for checking and they have simply given us the key. This is really very very satisfactory as the outside weather condition on that day was very verse with very low temp + raining and we had a journey of around 12-13 hours.I forgot the name of that gentleman at reception but a big big thank you to him and the novotel.
