Very pleasant stay. The hotel is really close to the Stade Velodrome so perfect for a Saturday evening match. Good breakfast as well.

Good in general, but Parking was a bad experience. We paid around $ 18.00 a day to park 2 blocks away, for some reasons we could not access the parking lot after 1pm, we had to battle and wait for 30mns to get in.

« Hotel is run down, not worth 4 star; Bar is almost always closed! »

Hotel has seen better days, is too run down now. Definitely not worth being called 4 star. Also not worth the price. There are flecks of paint, etc missing from the room doors n furniture. The lifts take forever, since they are also shared with the cleaning staff in the mornings. The staircase is narrow, claustrophobic and poorly lit. There were only a couple of coffee capsules given per day.. Cheap behavior! On the plus side, the staff were very courteous, efficient and friendly. On the minus side, we never got to use the complimentary cocktails coupon... The bar was closed *ALL DAY* on Saturday n Thursday n on Sunday afternoon. this doesn't make sense... These are the best times when the bar makes money! If the hotel makes it so that the frequently travelling customer cannot exchange the coupon at the closed bar, then why give the darned coupon in the first place??

The rooms were quite old, could use a refurbishment. It's not a 4 star as indicated on the website or the front of the hotel. It's either a 2 or 3 star at most.

I'm used to Mercure Hotels and so was expecting something better. This hotel does not feel like a 4-stars hotel. Bed and furniture are outdated. Bathroom is plain. Breakfast was not as fresh as expected. Lighting in the breakfast room was broken and plates were missing. J'ai l'habitude des hôtels Mercure et je m'attendais à mieux. Cet hôtel ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles affichées. Les lits et l'ameublement était démodé. La salle de bain était ordinaire. Le petit déjeûner n'était pas si frais (en particulier le pain). L'éclairage de la salle de petit-déjeuner était cassé, et les assiettes manquaient.

This maybe once was a 4-star hotel, but that was ages ago. The room was not very clean and the staff that welcomed me during the night was unfit for the job: although they had an authorization on the credit card, he still wanted me to pay for the first night upfront, and he did not give me my welcome-voucher as a gold member although I showed him my card.
