After traveling for two months, the comfortable bed was a welcome sight. The front desk staff are excellent at helping with any request. Breakfast selection is good especially the hot waffles.

it was a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff was very much polite and they helped with every small things I needed. Convenient to reach from Airport or the main station I prefer to choose this most of my times for the trip to Zurich. The food at the restaurant was also really nice with good vegetarian options.

we stay since 2 years regularly in your Hotel in Zurich Oerlikon, unfortunately we noticed a decreasing service lately. Starting with the "non-existing" Reception desk. We haven't received the invoice automatically after the last stay (that happens 1 of 3 times), then we received it with wrong Company adress. From the penultimate stay we received a double booking of the costs for 1 room for 1 night !!!

« Convenient for a short stay »

We had to wait rather a long time for the shuttle from the airport (only one per hour up until 1800), but then it was only 15 minutes to the hotel. I had checked in online so it was easy to collect our key and go to our room - the check in girl was friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side but we expected this - the bathroom conversely was very large - why not more space in the bedroom and a smaller bathroom? Comfortable and clean bed, nice hot shower, tiny space for clothes storage (hence the comment about a short stay) and a tv with lots of local channels (French, German and Italian) and a handfull of English channels. No pay-per-view movie channel unfortunately. We had a look a the restaurant menu but found it expensive (even by Swiss standards) and so bought a couple of beers which we took to our room and ate the snacks we had brought with us. There was a rather noisy family with a screaming child on our floor which was annoying (not the hotel's fault). Check out was streamlined as we had prepaid - we took the pre-booked (and paid CHF 4 each) shuttle back to the airport in the morning. The hotel lift is TINY (barely enough room for my husband and myself plus our two suitcases - seriously!

Very nice experience, welcoming and friendly staff, nice comfortable room and with an all star breakfast. If I could change something, is the very noisy ventilator in the bathroom.

a very clean and new hotel. Stay for 2 nights. Front desk stuffs' attitude is vary. One lady is very helpful and polite but another man named-Thomas is very rude, unreasonable. Once when I check in , I already confirmed with front desk stuff that i can come and get hot water whenever I needed , which for my medication herbs. However the second night , thomas said it need to charge and policy changed because of too many people need it. Futhermore, his attitude was very rude which i never experienced in any other hotel over the world. And the lobby's restaurant only had one or two stuffs, they were hard working but guests need to wait for too long to order food. Same situation when we need to ask hot water.

I can only advise any traveler: When you have a concern in any hotel, say it right away and ask to speak with the management team, so the hotel has the opportunity to remedy. We stayed in October 2018. Hotel was nice and clean. As we did online check-in, ours was super fast check-in at 12 midnight. They just asked my name and handover the keys. Staff and food also is nice. It’s a budget hotel and stay is value for money.

We stayed overnight after a long journey, arriving late evening. The hotel was good but it was annoying to have to pay to go back to the airport on the shuttle. We didn't realise how far away the hotel was from the airport.

My group overall stay for 2 nights at this hotel is acceptable but not impeccable. We do have some hiccup upon our arrival when checking in. We had prepared a rooming list and had sent over to their group reservation team days prior of our arrival, however that piece of information didn't channel through to their front desk staff so no keys are of ready... all 35 of us would have to go through as regular check-in one by one!! And for the room size, they kind of small. It well fit 2 luggage the most. Also there has no kettle or coffee machine amenities in, so if you need hot water you would have to approach front desk and ask for this, staff are of helpful at some point but not always!

Don't like the new colour scheme, don't see grey as a suitable colour for hotel rooms, nor the grafitti like drawings and door numbers. Also when I have a booking for 3 nights don't give me a wifi code for 24 hours, as it meant I had to come down and ask for a new code - should have been given a 7 days code in the first place.

good room design lovely breakfast that starts at 4am convenient for guest who has early flights to catch. I was not impressed when asking the reception to help me book a taxi for 6, the reception manager asked me to run out and ask a minivan taxi which was dropping other passenger whether they can pick us up next day, and when we could not do it, he was mocking us. I have a disability and mobility issue and cannot do that. Very disrespectful to your customer. I was even not impressed to find out that Ibis actually offer a airport transfer for a cheaper fee and reception did not tell me I could have book this instead. overall very bad customer service.

The restaurant Staff (particularly the dinner shift) was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small, but everything was very clean. Common areas were great to work or even to relax outside the room. The food and drinks in breakfast should change each day/two days.

We try to put together an all you can eat buffet which offers a wide variety of hot and cold items, including typical Swiss breads and spreads. We will look into our buffet with Dino our Chef de Cuisine and see if we can make any improvements. The size of the room can be considered as 'cute', which is often the case in ibis. I fully understand your disappointment if you were expecting a large room. Unfortunately we can't change the size of the rooms.
