We arrived late in the evening. There were a number of young employees gathering around reception and it almost felt as if we were disturbing their conversation. There was an issue with one of the rooms (the tissues dispenser was left open in the sink and there was some garbage near the front door) and when we reported it, we were told they could not do anything about it. In general, both rooms were OK (certainly not up to the standard of the Ibis Geneve Centre Nations, where we stayed the two previous nights) and the breakfast boasted a good selection.

After so many years ( incl. booking com from the very beginning) as usually we were satisfied with the accommodation. All the staffs were very friendliy and helpful. The breakfast was rich. The location is very pleasant. The only thing disturbing us are the points which we are losing every year because of expiry date. We have now abt. 1700 points which will expire by end of the year. Unfortunaly we can never acumulate 2000 points if the expiry date is every year. Our next visit for a few days (4-5 nights) to Hotel Ibis Messe Airport will be next year.

I was unable to get a room in another hotel. I checked online and found your hotel as it was listed to be close to Zurich airport. I was a walk in for the reservation. They only had two rooms. I had to pay for the breakfast even though I was not planning on having breakfast at the hotel, as I had to leave early the next morning. The staff at the reception desk (women) were very helpful. The men at the reception the next morning were not so friendly. I booked the airport shuttle in advance for the next morning. It is a valuable service.

Rooms are nice and staff is polite and helpful, the room had cockroaches and the AC was not working, the staff was kind to transfer us to another room but I found insects also in the aile which makes me believe it’s a plague.

Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Airport transfer was very convenient. Breakfast available from 4:30 am was great. Staffs were very nice. One disappointment, there was no kettle with coffee/ tea bags in the room.

Immediately upon check-in I was reminded of every extra charge I'd have to pay; breakfast, shuttle, parking etc. Given a room looking out straight at and into the neighboring office building, requested a change, which despite the 15-minute Smile Formula, was met with a grim face by staff unrecognizable staff without badges or uniforms. "Open account" was not offered and I had to pay for each single drink, dinner etc. Inconvenient. Overall, the place looked disorganized, lacking in management and structure, and rather more like a youth camp. For the price I paid, incl. dinner and breakfast >CHF 200.= I will unlikely return.

We always stay here when we need a stop over before a flight from Zurich airport. The hotel has been updated since our last stay and we liked that there was carpet on the floor. Bed was comfy, room was quiet. One of the reasons we choose this hotel was the complimentary shuttle service so we were surprised when we had to pay for the service this time. Although a small charge. As retired people we need to check carefully our costs, the room price already was higher than our previous stays.

Ibis has a very good reputation in my life (apart from 2 of their hotels), so this one belongs among the good ones. Unfortunately the airport shuttle isn't for free, it costs 4 CHF (luckily we didn;t need it). The problem of this hotel is it is neither close to the airport nor close to the city center. Awesome bedding, great staff, poor breakfast, high price.

Nice, quiet and clean, safe and secure place, very professional, friendly and helpful workers.

We stayed one night at the hotel on our way from New Zealand to Italy via Bangkok. We arrived after 8.00pm and left on the first shuttle for the airport at 4.55am the next morning. There was no time for either dinner or breakfast, but we found the hotel met our needs.

The welcoming staff was efficient and thoughtful. The room was poor. A handicap room with no shower stall or tub, just a floor drain, which was clogged so the whole floor would get wet. Paint chipped off the walls and the carpet was stained. I don’t expect to stay with IBIS or Accor again.
