It was a nice friendly hotel but it needs some refurbishment particularly around the lift lobbies. Food and beverage were good. The air conditioning in 246 does not seem to be working edequately.

Room was wonderful with an upgrade to poolside view room with balcony in recognition of my Accor member status which was appreciated. Free snacks provided alongside bottled water which are important during Summer. Staff mostly friendly with good command of English. Convenient location to Medina and the bus stop back to Marrakesh

It was good efficient attentive staff , nice pool area and lovely private beach facility , where food and beverage was of a high standard freshly made and appetizing . Breakfast I felt was expensive and not very inspiring . I was most appreciative of my room upgrade(thanks to my gold card status ) to sea view the room was lovely and sitting on balcony at the end of the day was a treat !

« It could be better »

The hotel is nice, but service lacks efficiency and recognition of elite levels of AccorHotels Programm. My platinum status was not mentioned, upgrade was said to be "unavailable", and no other benefits (exept welcome drinks) were offered. All demands are fulfilled slowly: 2 times I waited more than 30 minutes for a towel for swimming pool, another time I didnt get it at all. Many people are going around, but what is the outcome? Rooms are good, fitness room is well equipped.

We enjoyed a nice stay at the Le Medina hotel. The staff were very professional, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel room was comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the nice pool area and the spa services. The only thing that significantly brought down our rating, was the noise level in the adjacent rooms. We found the hotel walls very thin so we were constantly hearing the guests in the room above us and next to us. None of the guests were doing anything out of the ordinary but even simple things like walking or moving a chair on the tile floor would be heard loudly in our room. The room next to us contained a family with a baby who was constantly crying at all hours and obviously this noise was something the family couldn't control. We came to this hotel to have a quiet holiday weekend, but felt the level of noise greatly took away from this. We have stayed at dozens of hotels and this is the first time we have heard our neighbors in nearby rooms this loudly on a regular basis so I think poor sound proofing of the walls is to blame.

Very god location on the beach, the staff were professional and courteous. room was good size and decorated to good standard. I particularly like the welcome we received when we arrived, were grated with cool refreshing towel and mint tea and traditional biscuits.

Came for a combination of leisure and Thalasso Spa. Great friendly staff in all areas. Karima and Ayoub at Front Desk specially. Karima noticed upon check-in through the Passport that we had a Birthday and organized a surprise cake in the Restaurant - fabulous touch and observation!! Great variety and quality at breakfast. Suite was great, housekeeping did a super job with special touches. Rachida and bartenders at the bar very nice. Thalasso staff also great. Nour good starting contact and lady with initials LS (Mme Saby?) was super helpful - great lady:-) Therapists friendly and accommodating - very good experience. Nabil was very helpful in changing our room and organizing a lunch at the beach restaurant. Thank you all!!!

The service was appalling from beginning to end. The booking representative (Reda Ait Lamine) mis sold the hotel by giving wrong information (a pool that is "heated" to 20C is NOT considered a heated pool). Imagine the dissatisfaction of my son and the danger to dip in such cold water! When asked to waive the fee for the indoor pool, Reda declined and offered the "free" use of the indoor pool 7-9pm like other guests when my son was already sleeping! Services were slow and untimely. When we arrived at 8pm the room was not cooled, it was HOT! And even with the coldest setting (5C + max fan speed) the room was hot. The freon definitely needs topping up. The porter told us that it was already the maximum we can get. Room was never below 25C. Housekeeping staff was always friendly but service was below standard. On the 1st day, after a day out, we came back to find no towels in the rooms. 2 hours after calling housekeeping, they were not delivered. Went to reception in person to request towels, only to be delivered 30 minutes later. Requested body lotions, only to be delivered shavers 3 times. Complimentary items such as water, tea, sugar, etc. in any hotels are usually topped up when the room is cleaned. In this hotel, I had to explicitly asked for them for each item and for each day. They were also delivered at different times, including delivering unrequested towels at 10pm - when we were all sleeping. There was only one 8 seats table in the restaurant. We are a family of 5. Only on the 1st day we got to seat together. Other days the restaurant staff said the table was for a bigger group - which we never saw. If the table was really booked for other group, please put a "reserved" sign on it. The staff also could have tried to put 2 tables together instead of putting us in 2 separate tables. The omelet cook was also missing from her station a lot on our last morning. We had to wait very long for omelet and there were no readily made eggs on the table. Wifi was not working for the whole day (14th Mar). Hotel air conditioner was not working. Having a sea view room was supposed to give us the view, but opening the curtains meant the room becoming a glass house. The rooms above us were being renovated or some sort and making drilling noises. After calling the reception several times - no actions were done. We could not go to the pool, we could not stay in the room and we had enough time at the beach. We were miserable. On our check out day, we were not asked if we require a porter service. We took our bags down ourselves - that is fine. When the taxi came, the porter was nowhere to be found, and only miraculously appear when the last 2 luggage were in the taxi. He was happy to get the tips though. The only good things about my stay are the arrangements of the transportation to/from hotels. Room service including ordering from the M café to the room was accommodated to. The hotel staffs were all smiles but without the service / actions to follow, they are not worth much.

Never been disappointed this much before. "Heated" pool means 20C. Came back from lunch to find no towels in the room - called housekeeping - 2 hours later still no towels - went down personally to reception - finally delivered 30mins later. Air Conditioner in the room needs freon top up - lowest setting at 5C + max fan speed, + "cool" setting but room temperature never goes under 25C! No body lotion in the room and it took 3 deliveries from the housekeeping to get it right (kept delivering shavers instead) Complimentary beverages (water, tea, sugar, etc) were not supplied regularly. Had to explicitly asked for them everyday and they will come at different times to deliver different things. Utter distruptions to your stay + woke my sleeping son. Hotel next door and pavements in front of the hotel is being built. Expect a lot of noise!

Staff excellent. Pool area excellent - water could be warmer. breakfast - poor, very expensive and not well stocked, fruit poor and range of food poor - worst breakfast in Morocco at £10 a head. Rooms tired, safe broken, shower broken and no pressure in the water - walk in over the bath - very difficult if you are not able bodied. Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning broken.
