The hotel property is beautiful and the staff were very polite and hospitable. My one complaint is that the AC did not work well in the room. We asked the staff to check into, which they did, and they said it is working correctly. This makes me understand that the system does not make the rooms very cool. The thermostat was set for 5C, but the room was probably never cooler than 27C. Clients should have the ability to determine how cool the room is and not have that decision made for them.

I had heard a lot about Essaouira, and finally decided to make a visit. we were on a weeks trip to Marraketch, so made a two night stay here. Very nice hotel, I hadn't realised it was a sea front position when we booked it, so that was a great surprise. Very welcoming staff, great pool area, nice bar and great restaurant. If I had a complaint, it was that the curtain tracks needed a spray of silicone to help them open and close. It was mentioned to the reception team and our curtains were attended to. We had a great two night stay, both the hotel and Essaouira are worth a visit.

Hotel is in a perfect location; staff were all friendly and very helpful; pool and private beach were excellent; rooms were very well equipped with quiet, efficient air-con and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The only negative was that breakfast, although delicious, was expensive, also a little more shade when eating outside would have been appreciated.

I cannot fault anything or anyone at this hotel. I loved my stay so much that I booked another reservation to stay an extra week. The staff are amazing, always smiling, friendly and polite and they cannot do enough for you. Everyone who works there deserves praise particularly Hasna (reception), Latifa and Abdellah (at breakfast), Naima (breakfast chef) and Anouar (pool). The girls who cleaned the rooms always smiled and said good morning. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the hotel inside and outside is wonderful and so is the service. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The best in Essaouira!

Booked my room through Booking.com. When contacting the hotel by phone to see if I could get a better rate/include breakfast and cancel my Booking.com reservation I was told there was no more rooms. No matter what I said I could not get it through to them that I already had the room. Even the management seemed inept and inflexible until I pointed out the Accorhotels mission statement. It really tainted my first time experience with Accorhotels. And as far as it is a 5 star hotel, you have got to be kidding!! You need to send an inspector out as the place needs to be gutted. We were in room 262 & I have pictures showing the sorry state of the rooms. Cracked and crumbling tiles with dirt & mold, taps in the shower that just spin around with rusted nails. A chair & table in the room that would be just ok in a 2 star. The balcony railing was all peeling and One of the rungs was missing and a tetanus shot in the making. The hallways have cheap wood that is all chipped up. The tables in one of the dining rooms have lipps that you can hardly get your legs under and the chairs are dirty and rickety making them hard to pull up to the table. The food was inconsistent and didn’t meet with what would be expected in a 4 or 5 star. The lobby should be a casual elegance not kitschy. On the other hand, breakfast was very good. The pool was wonderful and so were the sun beds although they could be a little narrower to fit more in. The staff were apathetic, sometimes argumentative in public, lazy and not particularly friendly. We were there a total of 5 nights and still the doormen checked our camera bags and purse upon entering. The hotel needs a major overhaul and the staff needs better training.

We spent a wonderful four nights in this hôtel staying in room 237. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive to our needs. The front desk staff were always bright, smiling and most helpful. The rooms were bright and airy, perfectly cleaned every day and restocked where necessary. The private balconies were big enough for furniture and offered a lovely view of the pool, probably the best view available. One small issue with the plumbing was sorted within the shortest time. The outdoor pool area was spotlessly clean and serviced by very able staff who would supply towels as and when required and clear away those no longer needed. The staff in both the bar and the Arganier restaurant were professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in stating that this is a first class hôtel with first class staff leaving us with a first class experience.

Love the Hotel and facilities. Attentive staff and plenty of food/drinks available. I was concerned of the lack of English literature for the SPA, as I couldn't understand the treatments I tried to discuss with your staff but she wasn't speaking English so she booked me the wrong treatment. It's a shame as we wasted money and time in something we didn't want. Please do find the time and money to translate the SPA menu in English. I'll do it if you need! Otherwise all good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at your hotel. The staff were very well trained and very kind and courteous. The room was lovely, overlooking the pool. We had breakfast twice during our stay and were impressed with the variety and quality of food. We particularly liked the entrance to the hotel....there was a real wow-factor with the furniture, the decor etc. The only thing that slightly marred the experience was one evening when we were having a drink in the bar, there was a group of young people who were smoking endlessly. It was a little chilly that evening and no doors or windows were open so we were inhaling their smoke and our clothes smelt. Apart from that t was wonderful! Thank you!
