We were with Gate 1 Discovery tours. The hotel is very lovely. Very accommodating and most enjoyable. Housekeeping could have been better in the elevators and common areas but the room was very nice and clean. The restaurant service was excellent. Good. Selection. Service the best. Checking in very efficient. Staff had an excellent guest relations orientation. Great location to the Medina and beach. Would definitely return in the future. Thank you.

The hotel is a bit old but overall good and clean. The beach is great. The pool was not very clean and a bit cold. The location fabulous. The staff is good especially at breakfast and by the pool. The customer service manager was really helpful. The reception staff is really nice and welcoming but not very helpful. The Spa is a disaster! The Haman is great but I would not trust them with any treatment. I wasted 2h of my time for manicure, pedicure and waxing and it was a disaster! I had to redo everything myself.

After staying at the Le Médina Essaouira Hôtel in May, we returned for a much longer visit, we were not disappointed. The staff are most welcoming and most efficient and can be relied on for any help needed. My only slight problem was that the lights on our balcony did not work, even after we lodged a report on the issue, but like I said, only a small problem .

Kind. Friendly staff. Always smiling and happy to help. Good fair exchange rate for money exchange. Clean and tidy. Sunbed cleaned every day. The towels and bath robes in the bedrooms were not very good quality but did the job. The fridge in the room we could not get very cold. They are the only 2 negative points. Everything else was wonderful. Good selection of breakfast foods. Your staff were the highlight for me as I work in customer service and your staff were wonderful.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and we recieved a great welcome by the friendly reception staff. The room decor requires updating and looks very tired. The hotel menu's could do we a wider selection of dishes, with maybe a few moroccon inspired dishes. But the service at the restaurant was really poor and slow. There was plenty of staff, but they did not know what they were doing and the food took a long time to arrive. Other guest were getting frustrated aswell. The table opposite me waited 15minutes for the main meals to be cleared from the table, and the clearing process took another 10 minutes and there was only 4 dishes to remove. I work as a waiter/restaurant manager, so i notice these things. During breakfast service, the tables are not cleaned properly and set for the next customer. On a few occasions, we had to ask for cutlery. For a can of coke at the beach, i had to wait 20 minutes to order, then when i wanted to sign for it, the bill took another 25 minutes to arrive.

The hotel was nice and clean. Pool and Beach area were great. Breakfast was not enough for the standard. More cheese and meat choices would have been nice. Overall service in the restaurants/bars was dissatisfying. Reception and security guys at the door were very nice.
