I had a very nice stay on the top floor with a nice view on the river Seine. The only disappoint I had was that no new coffee and water was placed on the room on the second day of my stay. Though this would be complementry for each day.

« Great hotel with extremely friendly service »

Compared to some of the other hotels I have stayed in Paris, the Mercure Paris was a very pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and clean. I was there for business so did not spend a great amount of time at the hotel, but when we were there the service was helpful and friendly. The only complaint would be the size of the elevator. There is only one small elevator and if there is a crowd then you could be waiting for awhile.

This was our vacation and we wanted a good location which is closer to some of the attractions. We walked to Eiffel tower and it was 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel was very clean and the staff was accommodating. I have no words to express Christian's top notch customer service and greeted us every single time with a smile. He answered all of our questions and helped us with the directions and places to go. It is so helpful when you are travelling with family and kids. I would like to comment how pleased I was with the service provided to me by front desk staff, Christian. During my recent trip I was fortunate enough to stay at your Mercure hotel in Paris. I have stayed at many different hotels across the world and have found most of them pretty good and the staff generally friendly. Christian have by far out paced every one of them.

Thank you for providing us with a lovely room that had a view overlooking the River Seine. We really appreciated it. The service, support and care of the staff was also appreciated and they were most gracious in conversing with us in English, given our limited ability to speak French. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and/or friends in future - especially if they intend to travel to Roland Garros. The proximity to the metro was excellent and there were some lovely restaurants nearby.

Very good welcome at the reception. Room very small (805). Little choice of amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast ok but there was no other service than asking the room number. No small talk, no smile etc. I would improve the quality of scrambled egg :-). Check out ok.

Our 3 days stay was extremely busy, we had the opportunity to sleep in as our nights were very late. Room could have been a little larger but layout was comfortable. Special thanks to Gary and Cristian who both made our stay enjoyable.

The stay at your hotel was very enjoyable. The rooms were in excellent condition, clean, and comfortable. The refrig and safe were nice to have. The best part of our stay was your hotel staff. The front desk staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any staff that I’ve ever met. Everyone of them would greet us each time we arrived or left. They were quick to answer questions or give recommendations. Christian was especially wonderful!

Promised a phone call and most likely a refund made but no contact made at all to date. DID NOT have any breakfasts and was charged 48 euro at last minute - 5.30am whilst taxi waited - rang to advise of overcharge on same day, 9 May, and promised a call by today 14th which has not happened.

The service at this hotel was excellent! All of the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always greeted us and were eager to answer questions and give advise. Christian was especially nice. The location was perfect for us. The Metro was just outside. There were many restaurants to chose from and close grocery stores. The room was a little small but it was very clean and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked very well. The room also had a safe, which was handy. It was also a very quiet room until around 8:30 am when housecleaning started cleaning rooms. There was always a lot of slamming doors when the rooms were being cleaned. I would recommmend using a doorstop to keep the door open or using a towel to keep the door from slamming. The slamming doors at 8:30 am is what I liked least about the hotel. The friendly staff is what I enjoyed most.

Excellent, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the Seine. Only small negative was no hot water on the day we left so had to have a cold shower as we were in a rush to go to airport.

this is quite a small hotel and somewhat cramped as space is so limited. The breakfast area for example is very small. But the bedrooms are absolutely fine - very clean with nice linen on comfy beds . The reception staff are friendly and efficient. So there are no "frills" but it serves its purpose very well.

« Great Stay »

I spent 5 nights in a privilege room with a nice view of the Seine. Hotel is a bit off the beaten path but near Metro, many restaurants and huge grocery. Room was spacious and quiet, bed was comfortable, it was nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast choices were plentiful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.
