Only one thing was missing : an additional cover on the bed. The rest was perfect. The room where we took the breakfast could be a little bit larger.

« nice little Hotel, quiet, friendly team »

This little Mercure Hotel has a subway station within 50 Meters. You can reach Notre Dame without changing Metro. To Statue of Liberty is just 500 Meters away. Its quiet. Two Cafe Restaurants around the corner. Clean rooms, nice and helpful team, speaks Englisch as well. Good for business, couples and parents with one child. With more children, you have to book two rooms. Thanks!

The receptionists were warm and kind. I would say breakfast is always poor. I couldn’t find a way of using liquid soup in the shower room.

« A great stay in Paris, »

From check in to check out, the stay was great. We had a little surprise when we got to the room of some chocolates and a free drink from the bar. I would have liked 2 Bath robes instead of 1. House keepers were a little noisy on Monday morning.

Nice hotel, good location and excellent staff (best I've already met). Hotel should only improve her cleanliness since we could felt bad smelling everyday on reception and lifts.

« Not sufficient value for money »

For the high room rate you pay I would expect breakfast included, a bigger room, more comfortable pillows. The only elevator is very busy and if you have a room on one of the last floors you have to wait a lot to go down.

We were very happy with the condition of the room, the help and professionalism of the stuff, the breakfast and the decoration. Unfortunately the room service was very limited during the days of our stay due to new stuff under training(?).

« Everything was great except the bed »

Everything was good the room, the staff the whole experience. The bed was a big let down it was a two single beds pushed together including two mattresses which kept separating. There was only 4 pillows and when I requested more I was told we can't have any extra pillows. If it's advertised as a double bed it should be. All the staff were brilliant except the one guy who was on at night and when I requested extra pillows he was rude about it and just said no and tried to rush me off the phone.

« Compact and friendly »

Two-night stay. Only real issue was that the lift broke down (and there are eight floors of rooms and the staircase is narrow and with slightly inadequate handrails) but that can happen anywhere and it was repaired within hours. Rooms are small (but all rooms in Paris are small) but well furnished and mine at least appeared newly-renovated. Breakfast (the only meal on offer) is a buffet in a corner of the ground floor: pretty good. But what made the hotel was the staff - friendly and helpful.

« Another guest was able to enter my room!!! »

I checked in on Monday 6pm. Put my stuff in my room and left to have dinner outside. The next morning during checkout another guest told me he went inside my room around 7/8pm since the reception gave him the keys of my room. He was honest and went directly back to the reception to obtain another room. But should it have been someone else with bad intention he could have steal all my belongings! This is not acceptable and will avoid this hotel as possible. I already informed the AH headquarter.

Staff are very friendly. However, the rooms are like staying in a sauna. No AC or fans, you have to leave the windows or balcony door open, but very noisy with cars and people so difficult to sleap regardless. Woke up each night very hot. When asked for a fan or cooler the hotel could not provide anything. Being a loyal mercure member, very dissatisfied with my stay and experience and even worse was struggling each morning at work as I had a severe lack of sleep and constant headaches.

The hotel was nearly perfect: looks like it has been recently renovated, modernly designed, relatively large rooms, clean, good French breakfast, extremely helpful staff. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, near public transit stations. There are many good restaurants and stores in the vicinity.

« Not as good as usual »

We stayed here for our 5th visit for three nights at the end of September, travelling as a couple. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have only paid for a Privilege room once. On all other occasions we have stayed in a standard room and this has been fine until this visit. On this occasion we were given a hot and stuffy room on the fourth floor overlooking other people’s rooms rather than looking out at river – we’ve even had a balcony before now. In this room, you couldn’t exit the bed on one side due to a wall / pillar being in the way. The air conditioning was inadequate and even with the windows open you couldn’t cool down. Only one day was hot so expected the room to warm that day – the rest of the time the temperature was what I would call normal and the room was still stuffy. No natural light to be had either. However the room was clean and the bed comfortable as it always is at this hotel. The hotel was fully booked so not much could be done. Maybe there needs to be a new pricing level introduced as this was a less than standard room. I think we may stay here again in April and book Privilege or maybe time to try somewhere new. We never have the breakfast here as it looks very overpriced for what it is but the Regalia café (a 30 second walk away) does a great breakfast for €7. We’ve been big fans of this hotel down to its loyalty scheme, location, pricing and staff but over £400 for three nights in what felt like a miserable cell was not good enough on this occasion. I will say that they have the friendliest staff and the check in and check out very efficient.
