As a business traveler I found it quite frustrating not being able to get on to the internet with a consistent & strong connection. I would work for short stretches of time then would stop working.

« Nice hotel, but very limited service during the weekend »

The hotel by itself is fine, easily accessible , etc. But as holiday travelers, passing by and heading for the South, we were unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the restaurant was closed during the weekend. This should have been clearly mentioned while booking. On our request for some tips and advice for a fine restaurant in the area, the only answer we got at the reception desk was: "Just drive into town, there's plenty of opportunities."

Hello and thank you for your comment. Due to the very low activity, our restaurant is traditionally closed on Saturdays and Sundays from July / August. The information is communicated on our various websites and on our signature email. « No air conditionning although the outside temperature was over 30 deg. Celsius and the window was exposed to full sun all afternoon so I had the curtains closed and sufferred from high temp during the whole stay »

We also know that these temperatures can still become very low. The management of the heating system of our establishment does not allow us to offer air conditioning and heating at the same time. « Great renovation - my new favourite in Grenoble! »

I stayed in this hotel several times in the past and felt it was a little faded. Not anymore. Rooms are quite funky and huge in comparison to many other hotels. Service always good - keep up the good work!

« Good outcome »

Everything was going fine as usual, people and accommodations are great. 2 points though (maybe not linked to organisation itself, but more of a bad luck thing) : my room was quite far (end of the corridor) and the last day was snowing so the alley to walk from hotel entrance to parking lot was slippery (hence, being e descendant way and carrying my luggage, I fell...unharmed though, so no big deal)

I really appreciate the manager's way of handling my cancellation of the Alpotel in Grenoble for the re-booking of the same night at the Meylan hotel. I was most disappointed to learn that having booked on line for a preferential tariff that any reimbursement for the lost night was impossible. He managed to negociate the night that I've paid for at the Alpotel at a later date in the year. Cancelling one hotel to book another in the same town without simply transferring the cost is uncomprehensible from a clients point of view.?? This whole incident makes the ACCOR group look very bad as far as far as service is concerned A good job you have someone who immediately grasped the annoyance caused by this siyuation and was able to find a almost lost a regular loin dans mes commentaires je ne recommanderai pas cet hotel a des amis uniquement par rapport a son éloignement du centre ville. Mon séjour était pour raisons professionnelles je suis un conferencier international.

Concernant la situation de notre établissement, nous sommes légèrement éloignés du centre-ville, mais très facilement accessible en voiture et également desservi par le bus Chrono C1 qui circule devant l'hôtel jusqu'au Centre-ville et la Gare. « Great lodging at affordable pice - comfortable, bright & functional rooms with excellent service from staff. »

Coffee options at breakfast are poor! The only suggestion I would have would be to get an espresso machine & offer warm milk.

Hotel is nice with good location and nice rooms. Staff is helpful and kind. The hotel has a good car park. Rooms are quiet. Breakfast is not good. Scrampled eggs are allways too loose and sausages are not nice. The bacon I would not recommend to anyone. Bread and cheese and cold cuts are ok. Juice, yoghurt and muesli is good. Puplic transport connections to Grenoble city center by bus is good, by train is ok as well.
