« By mistake we left hotel one night befor -at the 12/8 instead 13/8 but unfortunately no one did not ask why »

by mistake we left the hotel one night befor we had to leave ,but unfortunately no one at the reception did not ask why ....and it was very disappointing...

« As usual, a very pleasant and restful stay. »

We stayed several times in this hotel precisely because we appreciate its location in this beautiful park, the proximity of the lake, the swimming pool. This time we noticed that the restaurant (always excellent) had further improved its menus. Also, the service is still excellent.

« Very disappointed »

We arrived at 10.30 having emailed the hotel requesting a twin room. They obviously ignored the email as we had a double room. It then took 30 minutes to sort out a new room and it didn’t have air conditioning! For a four star hotel this is poor. The bar was closed at 10.30, so no food. The whole hotel was very dated. We were charged for 2 people for breakfast when only one person actually had breakfast & the lady on reception said this was standard.

« Beautiful domaine »

The hotel is located in a beautiful "domaine", with a large area for walks in the shade of robust trees. Hotel is a bit old, in need of modernization, and unfortunately the spa was closed which was not indicated in their website. The shared pool of Hotel Ibis Style - that also shares the "domaine" - was available but, as expected, packed. Very friendly staff, both in the reception and in the bar. Go up to the Mont Revard for an absolutely stunning 360° view of the mountains!

Very professional and use of the pool etc was very good. Just a bit crowded. I would prefer a pool to be open at say 700 am as then as a business person I could swim before going to work. Opening at 900 is too late.Very efficient

- had some problems to get into the hotel, and staff was extermely helpfull - rooms could use refresment - breakfast was poor (cooked eggs did not really worked and only 1 toaster) - price/quality was not correct (price too high)

Very good, attentive and friendly staff. Hotel / room was okay, if a little tired. Spa was nice not not quite the “fitness” facility I would have hoped. Restaurant very good, again staff very efficient and friendly.

« Rundown hotel »

Staying in this hotel was kind of a "back to the eighties" experience. Everything looked old and tired : the rugs, the elevator, the bathroom (special mention to the pull-up toilet flush handle, a system which I thought had been phased out some 20 years ago). Unpleasant smell everywhere, the smell of old hotels in need of a good refreshing. I will not stay another time in this hotel, which in my opinion does not deserve to be associated to the Mercure brand. Very disappointing.

Building out of the 80s. Shabby and run down. Carpets, paint, facilities, everything in need of refurbishment. Everything is or looks tired, even the staff. Asking €140 for a standard double incl. breakfast a night in such a place is more than steep. Thank you. Not again.
