We've stayed in many Mercure hotels across Europe and generally appreciate the consistency of experience. However, this hotel is by far the most tired and dated property we have stayed in. Everything feels very old and worn out; it desperately needs an update. That being said, the hotel was clean, the staff polite, and the breakfast was up to the usual good Mercure standard. The room was large, and the location was good, but I'm just not sure that we'd choose this particular hotel again.

No food available out of lunch and dinner time except one chicken snack. No welcome box (fruits, etc...) as mentionned on internet. Spa is small and crowded. The walls, carpets, lifts are not nice looking, and deteriorated.

The welcome was not at all friendly, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was arranged very awkwardly. I told the staff that the bed was broken and very uncomfortable and they just shrugged - there was no offer of anything to compensate this.

The hotel is not in a convenient location. It is very dated, walls, beds, elevator, restaurant. Not sure how areas are granted but this surely does not feel like a 4 star hotel.

Old hotel without a decent Gym

The hotel is in real need of updating, the carpets and rooms look like they’ve been used for 30 years, they’re threadbare in places. The bathrooms need refurbishing and you need to set aside space for a small gym that includes a treadmill.

We were in the hotel for weekend with our dogs and for this it is good, as you can take the dogs easily to the park in the morning/ evening. Good breakfast and our only dinner in the restaurant was also fine. The only thing we did not like was the floor material in the room.

A bit disappointed upon arrival. 4 at reception speaking to each other. Ignored our presence for 2 minutes, stated 5% discount when Accor advertise 10% for AccorPlus members. The Head Barman (an older person) was excellent!

Friendly welcome, but hotel in need of refurbishment worn carpets in corridors, cracked tiles in bathroom. Attractive dining room and bar pleasant service in dining room but food not upto 4 star hotel standard, steak small and tough. Made to wait for a drink as barman too busy to serves us straightaway. Nice swimming pool but delay in trying to obtain bath robe. Preferred stay at Novotel earlier in our holiday. Not upto usual Mercure standard
