Room was pretty much as expected, though I miss the carpet Ibis rooms used to have. Reception was exceptionally helpful, providing a power adapter on loan to replace the European one I had that wouldn’t fit the smaller Swiss sockets.

Not as expensive as most, this was in a good location to get to the different areas of Zurich. Good clean hotel, nice beds, large rooms. Clean rooms and with everything expected. Staff great. Lift was tiny, not for the claustrophobic, and very slow.

The location was very close to the tram and short journey from the main station. The welcome was warm and helpful. Had a major difficulty that despite checking before booking, the restaurant did not know which food was gluten free for evening meals or breakfasts and actually what was gluten. The next door restaurant was better with the main dishes labelled, but waiting staff were bit familiar with what gluten was and what it can be in to advise on any other items. It meant leaving the hotel super early in the morning to get GF breakfast in the city instead which was a shame when paying more for an Accor hotel and close to where I had meetings and visits. This was very unfortunate and had I known I would NT have picked an Accor Hotel which I have tended to book with as food labelling and allergy provision has previously been very good. The rooms were ok. The shower was good and sufficient pressure and temperature, possibly aided by being on the top floor. The beds though comfortable had a major design floor as the top mattress kept slipping off the bed, something others have reported. The mattresses were not easy to realign and I had sympathy with housekeeping staff who had probably had similar problems when making the bed, and hence the mattress tended to hang well over the edge. I did raise this at the time and the GF issues. Do check the reservation system and have a copy or screenshot of what you have paid. When I arrived the reception thought I had to pay the full booking amount and not just the amount for local taxation. It was not very clear on the site in some places. The receptionist was very helpful and I had already raised a query with Accor about this before and after arriving. Not had a reply to date. On check out date the invoice I was emailed said I had to pay for the booking but on querying this found this was incorrect. On coming home I found Accor had charged my credit card in full before my departure. All this should be simple to resolve in the systems and giving clearer info on the booking details for the local hotel. I could easily have paid twice if not three times in error. For those using the WiFi, it will not support some mobiles and you will get an error. Note it is also an unsecure network though you do have to sign-in.

Dissatisfied Property not worth the amount paid. Even minor amenities for bathroom were not available. Not even a bottle of water / tea coffee were available which is usually part of other properties as basic offers.

The hotel didn't have a breakfast package and had to spend extra getting breakfast. At least it should be a bed and breakfast

Everything was good, just in the matter of my group reservation the check-in was very slow on Thursday night and I still have to verify the matters of the refound for our group reservation. I understand you have been working with us for a long time so for next year we will have to be very careful about this matter.

I had a good time but 5.00 CHF were added to my bill on 4th and 5th September as extra city council tax. I was alone, why the extra city council taxes ? Very funny. Some reception staff is very amicable by the way.

Overall this was a good stay, except for the appallingly rude reception at check-in because the receptionist attended to someone who arrived long after me without even acknowledging that I had waited fully 15 minutes for any service.

The location of the hotel was great but the room could possibly be the saddest hotel room I’ve stayed in. Very clean but depressing - no kettle so no way of making a hot drink, only 1 plug that didn’t fit any of my adaptors, 1 window but that was too high up to see anything out of, no overhead light so dark. Just a miserable room from the 80s
