Good although I was disappointed of some small issue with shower. I was not able to have the shower set as I wanted because no matter how much i tightened it would not stay firm.

The customer service was good but I felt that the hotel was a bit outdated. Having been working at Ibis myself and stayed at many in the past, I though that the receptionists weren’t looking up to standards, they haven’t have any uniforms and we’re looking a bit scruffy. The room was clean tough and the housekeeping was very polite saying good morning! Overall good experience, I would just equipped the staff with new uniforms and set the policy.

Unlike many modern 2-star hotels, the single room I had was large enough that I didn't feel cramped and could do stretching and yoga exercises. The decor is simple and clean à la Ikea. Lots of electric outlets, which helps if you need to charge multiple devices. Good range of TV channels available. Room as quiet. Only things missing were a tea kettle and an iron, though I didn't require either. The concierge on duty was very friendly and helpful with directions and advice. I like the fact that the hotel is just a 2-block walk from a tram stop.

check in was a bit clunky as they didn't receive my request for an early check-in and said i'd have to pay 20 or 30 francs. then after waiting for a bit i was given a twin room (not double) and said i could check in early. but the most surprising thing was that the price given on the website when i booked was different from the price i paid at the end! this is absolutely absurd!!!!

« Let down by lack of power points »

This hotel was a typical Ibis, clean, well located, good facilities and very good staff. However it was let down by one incredible lack of foresight on behalf of the room designer. That is all the power points are in one triangular chunk. - They are not near the bed, so cannot charge a mobile while you are asleep and have it on the bedside table. - If used with the free conversion adaptor which the staff lent us, only one adaptor can be plugged in. - As a couple we travel with five devices needing to be charged - a mobile phone each, a laptop, an ipad, and a data dongle. Please add more power points located separately or when lending conversion adaptors add an extension cord so that more than one can be used at once.

I couldn't sleep as the room.was too hot, if I opened the window it was too noisy and the Aircon didn't seem to work. Additionally the window is so small and it takes too long to.draw the blinds up. I went to the Sheraton in the morning and didn't use the next 3 nights.

This was not the 1st time for me at the hotel. The receptionists were great and very nice. The room is essential but confy. The location is just one minute walking away from tram stop. All good!

Overall a good experience. Parking is expensive and I found the directions to the hotel unclear; directions should be clearer. I had checked in on-line but had to wait at the reception behind several people before I was checked-in at reception which was annoying; the bad parking experience and check-in was not a good start! The receptions host was very kind and helpful and offered me some free parking and a welcome drink. The room was fine but with very few electrical sockets.

during the checkin, the receptionist didn’t give the information that before I leave I would have to validate my car ticket, she was asking for more money than should for the parking. The room was for 3 persons and there were just 2 towels, when I call the reception, they have nobody to deliver you the towel, my mother had to go down to pick it up. I really don’t recommend this hotel.
