the elevators are old, slow and uncomfortable. The rooms are comfortable enough for a Business Trip but the pillows are too small.

Front desk staff was very nice. Restaurant food was good. Room was clean. Only complaint was the air conditioner didn't work very well so I had to keep the door open. I asked the housekeeping staff if it was broken and they said no, that was just as good as it was.

The hotel is old should be renovated, it is not an mercury standards. The cleaning has to be improved, a lot. We have found some very ugly things under the beds...

« Comfortable rooms for a business trip stay. »

Rooms were remodeled and are more cozy. Bathrooms are also very nice! The only bad things is that I was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes (the doors didn't open) and I was pressing the alarm button, but no one came. After trying all the floors, finally in one floor the doors where opened. I reported it to the reception.

Very satisfied. Two points, however, the towels in our room were very worn, and the only sour note was with one if the bar staff who was clearly uninterested in us. Every other member of staff was great,band I will certainly be back to the hotel next year.

Temperature control in the room was not satisfactory. Also I did not receive a mini-fridge although I am there long time. The staff was always nice and friendly and helpful. I believe water should be offered at the bar free of charge.

« First time for complains »

First of all, every time I stay at the hotel I have to ask for a fridge! Second this time, one evening I was at the room someone nocked at the door, I asked for a moment because I want to get dressed, however a guy came in after the second time a asked to wait and exchanged the desk chair, that was not good at all. Also there were a lot of bugs inside the Hotel. I liked the renovations of the room, very nice.

Had a newly renovated room on the bottom floor. Really loved all the changes, especially the shower. My room had an unpleasant smell and it sounded like water was running in the bathroom all the time. But not unbearable. Bar service, dining, and room service was great. Professional friendly staff.

« For a guaranteed booking, the room must be available. Otherwise, you should get a compensation. »

When I arrived at my original booked Hotel Mercure Bristol, there was no room available although I booked with credit card therefore guaranteed. Waiting for a room in another hotel and changing the hotel took me 2 hours and I got to sleep very late. For a guaranteed booking, the room must be available. And I think a small compensation in the form of a free night would be the minimum because I am already a long-time regular guest,

Für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten bitten wir Sie vielmals um Entschuldigung. Wir legen höchsten Wert auf Qualität und Service und versuchen täglich, dies auch unseren Mitarbeitern vorzuleben und zu trainieren. Leider kommen immer wieder menschliche und technisch Fehlleistungen vor. Bitte geben Sie uns die Gelegenheit zu dem Punkt Stellung zu nehmen. Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir Sie ausquartieren mussten. Durch eine Überbuchung des Hauses, mussten wir leider einige Gäste in unser Schwesterhotel Mercure Sindelfingen an der Messe umbuchen. Das Hotel ist gleichwertig und frisch renoviert. Dies befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe ( 600 Meter), so dass die Gäste das Haus in wenigen Minuten erreichen können. Eine Ausquartierung sollte nicht die Regel sein und wir entschuldigen uns für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten. Wir hoffen, dass Sie dennoch insgesamt eine schöne Zeit in Sindelfingen hatten, und stehen Ihnen für eventuelle Rückfragen oder weitere Anmerkungen selbstverständlich gerne persönlich zur Verfügung. « Fair stay (considering price paid) »

Stay was fair. Paid quite a bit amount of money as hotels in area were all booked. The good - rooms were ready as expected, good size room, and bathroom was well lit. The rest - Hotel is in okay shape; the rooms and hallways are rather bland, beds are fine, but single thin pillow was not great. I had a few of those 'stink bugs' by my window/door, but didn't seem to be a big issue. Internet worked well. Wouldn't be my first place to stay in area, but workable.
