Bad price value. Rooms are tiny.

Hotel and food good. Friendly and helpful staff. Two out of three elevators not operating!!!!!!!!! Process to create bill very slow due to what seems to be complicated interaction between front desk and seminar management.

The hotel is very efficient and organized, and the staff are well trained and courteous. The checkin process was smooth, the breakfast organization and restaurant were quick. As a non-German speaker, I had no problems during the stay. They provided a USB charger for my phone when needed, and called a taxi when required. The room was clean and well taken care of.

Good. Room was nice. Restaurant / bar was good, food was good. 2 of the 3 elevators not working and the one that is working is very old and slow. Charging 13€ per night for parking is not on

Terrible property that had no working internet -- wifi or wired -- (was told it was out 2-3 days already), breakfast had no scrambled eggs left at 0930 (runs until 1000), expensive parking for no reason in suburban area. I regret staying here.

Most disappointing factor was restaurant was closed for dinner which should have been on their website when we booked. They did offer that we can go and eat at their sister Mercure not far away. We would have stayed at the other one if we had off known that. We ate at a local restaurant (Onkel Otto from memory) which was fantastic. Water pressure was not great in the shower but otherwise was nice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Car park was very overpriced for what was outside off the street and I could have driven in and out of for free anyway and was nearly empty. Parking is a rip off for a hotel not in the centre of a city.

- For almost one week no electricity at GYM ==> no training with devices possible, despite several remarks at reception, no improvement - One elevator permanently defect - Obviously my floor (3rd floor) has been recently renovated. Everywhere color on the floor, but no remark-signs ==> strange

I especially liked the hot chocolate that the host made for me the first time (with the dollop of cream and the ginger biscuit) - it was the best cuppa I've had in a long time. Rooms are neat and clean, service is friendly and accommodating. The room was warm enough without needing to switch on the water heater. Wifi is free, unlimited and fast. Painting renovations effect was only minimal on my experience - they were not noisy nor in the way. Lower elevator didnt work on arrival, but was resolved the next day. Breakfasts are good, lots of variety. I prefer fresh fruit salad without any canned /syrup fruits though. Coffees and Pastries are delicious. I do wish the bacon would not be so charred, and baked beans/mushrooms would be a nice addition to the hot breakfast instead of 2 viennas and 1 kebab. It is my 3rd? stay at Mercure, and I would like to stay again. Special thanks to the tall gentleman behind the counter that took the time to make that delicious hot chocolate that I got with my free voucher.

Very enjoyable stay. Reception very helpful. Free Internet access easy and reliable. Restaurant staff helpful and food all good. A shame about the cold plates for the cooked breakfast. Otherwise lovely spread. Ability to book for following year for the same event is really good, and worked well. So please ignore reply to question on how did you book, it is really "I booked last year" - but the answer "booked on departure last year" was not available!!
