Bathroom stank of cigarette smoke. Towels were an issue, tea/coffee was not replenished, we had to ask for towels and coffee etc a few times. No glasses to use to have even water. The noise from the complex till early hours, especially the Saturday evening when there was a party which went on till 03:00. No internet/wifi connection.

Great stop over near the airport. Shopping centre across the road. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to your liking. Transfers can be prebooked so you are picked up promptly at the airport.

The hotel is situated across the road from Eastgate shopping centre which makes access to restauramts, shopping and entertainment convenient. The online booking process was quick and easy. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The quality of the room, bedding and bathroom was very good. Cleanliness was excellent and the mini kitchen was very handy for travellers staying for a few days. This hotel provided us with a great location to access business and leisure activities and we would recommend it without hesitation.

« Good location, good service provided by smiling personnel but quality of the room barely acceptable »

I stayed in the hotel in three different occasions linked to my visit of Joburg. 3 Days after my arrival from Europe, then one day after a couple of weeks before departing to Mozambique and then for two other nights before returning in Europe. The location of the Hotel is good, a safe area not far from the Airport and with easy links to the road system. The hotel great asset is the personnel that is always helpful and smiling, rooms are clean but old and in desperate need for maintenance. The quality of our first room was acceptable, the second one was barely acceptable the last one was bad, broken or missing curtains, shabby bathroom and "clean" stained carpets. Internet was working only in the reception.

Our room was not ready when we arrived and the Hotel team did his best to find something but it took a lot of time. In the end they found a room which was ok but with only 2 towels (we were 4) and it took more than 2 hours to get the extra towels

We arrived at 10 o'clock in the evening with the reservation made through the Le Club website, however there was no room available for us to stay. We waited for almost 1 hour for housekeeping, however when we entered the room, there were bits of food and the room looked dirty. We have stayed in other Accor rooms and have never had such a bad experience. In addition, the attendants were commenting on each other, laughing, implying that they were making jokes with us. We already use Ibis, Mercure and Novotel hotels, but we will think hard if we will use it again.

All over very good. Housekeeping has much improved. Though the duvet wasn't in a duvet cover but between two bed sheets which is not very hygienic as it comes free during the night. Also the system of attaching the iron to the ironing board is very cumbersome. There must be other ways to avoid theft.

The hotel was very convenient to the massive Eastgate shopping mall, and the room was very comfy. The breakfast was excellent, especially the omelets, but the coffee could've been better. I found the management a little disorganised, I had to ask for towels and soaps a couple of times, some of the visitors were extremely noisy late at night.

Very good stay,very friendly and helpful staff.Only issues was with linen not being clean and the lack of pots in the room.Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff made us feel very welcome.Very good WiFi as well.
