It was good. However housekeeping and reception were not responding to calls in the morning when I needed an iron. I ended up borrowing from a colleague who had brought her own. Also between July and now I think the breakfast offering has dropped a bit.

The room was of a good size to accommodate the family, and the kitchen was a bonus especially the larger bar fridge. All of the installations functioned, except that the remote for the air conditioner was out of order (was replaced once a call was made to the reception). Overall neat and clean. On the downside, the room had a smokey / stale / musty smell, and the lounge carpet had what appeared to be burn marks / ingrained dirt. This needs attention. Also, the Wi-Fi was of very poor signal quality - kept on disconnecting. Due to the fact that our room (# 100) was close to the neighbouring mall, we were fully exposed to the noise coming from there, especially in the early hours of the following morning (Saturday) when we could hear people singing and music playing, coming from the mall's direction, from about 4am. We were also disturbed by cars driving fast along the road overnight. While you do not have any control over this, I would like to suggest that when allocated rooms to quests, rather fill the hotel starting with the room furthest from the mall so as to limit the noise exposure to residents.

All was well inorder, from the room to the food, friendly staff always ther to assist and make your stay pleasurable, i would come back again. The only down side to my stay was the parking, insufficient parking bays !!! I had to park a bit far from my room. Apart from that great service.

This is my 5th stay this year. The other 4 were ok. This one is the worst - from reception, to no internet, to bad housekeeping to checkout. At reception, the interns were not customer oriented and considered you as bandits. The internet did not work. At check out, I had to wait as person was chatting with a customer. She did not give me an invoice/receipt. Housekeeping did not provide enough toiletries so we had to use our own. Very unlikely that I will come again.

I booked online and checked in online where it stated that "all you have to do is show up and pick the room card". When I did arrive, went to reception whereby was requested to provide all the information again. Apparently in South Africa credit card discounts must be done in front of the guest(?!). Requested a Junior Suite with two beds and got with one bed...
