Housekeeping is totally inadequate. First room (512) had no water. But even so, crockery, glasses inadequately supplied. No Washing liquid and tea towels. We were moved to room 610, I think. Safe was broken, crockery, glasses inadequately supplied. Fridge froze the food we brought with us! Second room was a double bed. Only one bedside table. Sheets did not properly fit the bed. RECEPTION STAFF were really busy, Kenias and Pretty were AMAZING. They did their best to meet our needs, but obviously there is a limit to what they can do. Such a pity. This hotel has SO much potential

The rooms are comfortable but do need some maintenance. I would have expected a full DSTV service. The staff are well trained and the food is very good. a lovely setting.

Hotel is really well maintained and staff very friendly. Only issue I had was the bed was horribly lob sided. Other than that I will certainly return to the hotel again.

« Overall not a great experience »

Was told breakfast was not included but was paid for, room service phone us and asked if they must bring our food to the room which is well room service and my colleagues bed sheets were not made up, overall not a great experience. Also the wifi, which is the reason we stayed there was not stable enough and ran out to quickly!!!

It was so convenient next to mall, but it lacked personal detail, had to call the barman every time to order a drink, he was not behind bar, service almost non exit next to pool, for the price per roombreakfast should have been included, the prices are very steep for a drink, so we supported other restaurants, you guys are losing money this way.

I’ve stayed at Mercure twice before and both this first two times were great didn’t find any fault. The room I was in this time had a problem with the shower door and the breakfast was just ok. I do love how the hotel is conveniently placed near the mall. I will be back again though.

The experience was not good because the telephone in my room was not working. When I went to the reception to report the receptionist was not apologetic. He simply said there is nothing he can do they can only attend to it the next day. I stayed two nights without telephone. My safety was compromised and was inconvenienced because I had to walk all the way to the reception to request services instead of making a call. There was no remote for the air conditioner. I had to sleep in the very hot room at night because I cold not phone and request assistance as the phone was not working. I was very dissatisfied with this poor service.
