« A perfect getaway »

We found the hotel location to be perfect, the Junior King Suite was spacious enough to enjoy some relaxation time in the room over our 4 day stay. The complimentary champagne and birthday wishes was a lovely personal touch. The only reason for not giving a perfect score was the aircon was not really cool enough (for us personally) and the pool temperature was also not very refreshing - however we are aware that Cairns was suffering from a heatwave and understand these things are out of your hands. The breakfast included was delicious especially having an al a carte option. Thumbs up and we will be back, maybe in winter next time :)

we are the inhouse travel department of Bakebaria Group of Industries and Mr J. is the group md of the group and we providing the feedback on his behalf firstly at check in inspite of already being informed to the hotel no early check in was given inspite of knowing the fact that they have a infant with them. Secondly at 2 pm staff says that they dont know when the room will be ready and gave the option for accessible room. Thirdly they already had a pre auth for the entire room charge and additional incidentals and than again send letter to the room for more incidental authorization.... please note pullman is lucky to have a customer like mr J. with a high profile and holds a vip status in india, if you wanted money and you dont trust customers than better ask at the beginning of check in , disgusting on your part to send letters and insult the customer... mr J. holds a gold status with ritz, shangrila and other best hotels in the world and still he cancelled shangrila cairns and opted your hotel on our recommendation which was useless..... no help for dietary requirements..... however thank you for upgrading . you are bascially operating a lodge rather than a hotel and asking customer for petty amount of incidentals ....so this shows your customer base would be small profiles.

We were very happy with our overnight stay at the Casino in Cairns. The service was very welcoming, rooms were very clean and well presented, beds were comfy, facilities were top notch and breakfast was yummo! Everything was there if we needed it right at our fingertips. And also we were so glad to have a free bottle of wine to help celebrate our belated 30th birthday together. Fabulous !! until the room we were in (suite ) 418 which is next to a hired out party room for all special occasions (to whom or whoever ) which is adjacent to the swimming pool area and verandah of our suite which now has a beautiful clear view of two ladies vomiting into our garden. Nice !! Nothing better listening to drunks in the hallway coming to your room level by the lifts dancing screaming and singing all night, that is if you are in a party mood and you haven’t booked and paid for a luxury hotel. Wonderful security no need for swipe cards just all come on up, over 50 plus people jumping stamping and yelling. The music started at 6pm the screaming and shouting started at 7.30 pm it was at 9pm we phoned down and asked could the music be turned down as our room was vibrating. It was suggested we change rooms at 9 pm at night GREAT!! No thank you it’s 9pm not really dressed for changing rooms deal or packing up or ports after a full day out. Now let’s go back at a step or day or two. Why would you put loyal guests booked in for three nights that have paid for a luxury room next to a party room that’s going to go off all night with loud vibrating music coming thru the doorways when you have a suite three floors up available. We could not believe that the Pullman Hotels would entertain such party rooms with full on DJs so close to guests that have paid for a secure private relaxing holiday. The next day there was a lovely greet card placed in our room with a standard bottle of red wine stating sorry about the inconvenience. Well we don’t drink red wine !! And Why is it that people seem to think all will be okay, give them a bottle of plonk and all will be fine.
