I enjoyed the stay. What I like is there is always a decent desk as I am on work trips and need a good desk. The staff are friendly. The bathroom could be better designed. The shower tends to soak quite a bit of the bathroom; but I like the fact there is a proper bath.

the hotel was chosen because of the Mercure mark combined with price and location. Perfect hit !! Excellent breakfast; comfortable room; limited but acceptable view to inner court -- maybe it was a lucky strike:: no noise no horns no hassle !! Perfect bathroom.

It was good. Breakfast was good. For environmental reasons (climate change) I consider to get rid of the coffee capsule maschine, it is not today when we should save the earth . Additionally, if I put my towels hanging on the rail or door, it means - SO not replace them after one day use - give thew message to your cleaners! It is wasting natural resources to wash the towels after one day use - completely waste of resources!

« Good location. Room description misleading »

Warm welcome. Girl at the reception was very helpful. However we booked double room as we are a couple. The bed was two small beds pushed together and very uncomfortable. We also had to ask for slippers. Location was very ideal. Near a lot of cafes and shops. Easy access to metro and bus.

every thing was as expected. the only problem was that during the weekend ther was nobody to take care of the heating who was not working . it was very cold in the room and bathroom .

Expected conditions for a 4* hotel in central Paris, with one big issue: heating was not working and the temperature in the room was about 18 degrees Celsius. The reception staff explained this is normal, because the entire climatization system was not yet switched for heating ?!? It was still set for air conditioning, although during the night the outside temperature was way below 10 degress Celsius.

The people and welcome was great and the location as well. However, the internet and heater was not working which is not acceptable for a brand like Mercure specially at the price that I paid for the last night!

« Able to get through the week but would have preferred a much better experience. »

This was first trip to Europe to celebrate 50th birthday and also 10 years being cancer free. First two days the air con/ditioner was broken and we could not reach a comfortable room temp even with windows open. Staff closed windows during our day out, which also precluded it from cooling during the day. Tub/shower allowed water to splash and seep onto floor and shelf with dry towels. Soaking our towels. Fridge kept flashing an interior light all night. Room layout was fine outherwise. Staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful. Offering us free breakfast would have helped ameliorate the a/c issues.

Room wasn't ready when we tried to check in at 4 p.m. Had to wait for 30 minutes until the room was ready. Had a small room that faced the street, which was very noisy all night and into the early deliveries in the morning.

Other than our room being extremely small with an unnecessary loft, the experience was very good. The desk staff was most friendly and helpful every time we needed assistance. And the included breakfast was generous and tasty.

« Well behind my expectatives »

The stay was quite a disappointment, especially after paying an exhorbitant price (even if the tariff was advertised as super saver), for which I already complained before the trip with no satisfactory answer. The room was very small, with not enough space between the bed and the walls. It was also discomfortably hot, and when we tried to switch on the refrigaration, there was only hot air that made everything worst. And the bathroom was also not appropiate, with a shower that I guess it will be a huge problem for a senior person or someone with mobility problems, as it was too high to climb in. As a member of Accorhotels and regular costumer, the disapointment was huge.

The central location across the street from the Sorbonne was very convenient to public transportation, a wide variety of restaurants, and a walking distance from Notre Dame cathedral. The staff members, personable and always helpful, chatted with us when not occupied with other clients. The room was very quiet, large enough to allow two of us to move about without obstruction and had good closet space and a well-appointed bathroom. The only surprise was the lack of shampoo and conditioner usually available in similar hotels.

We stayed here for a business trip to Paris and an exposition fair. This was at a stop along the RER B Line so easy walk to the station from the hotel and one train to the fair.

« It was nothing more than an ordinary hotel experience. »

My first impression of the service was not that good. The front desk staff was friendly and kind, but I had to wait for half an hour for my room to get ready even though I arrived at 13:30(way past the check-in hour). And, when I finally did enter my room, housekeeping staff just barged into my room without asking. And the breakfast was below par. Honestly, I do not think the accomodation was satisfactory compared to the price I paid for.
