Good: location, wide choice and quality breakfast (except for the coffee and cold plates for hot food), spacious and clean room, comfortable bed,helpful and friendly staff. Need improvement: no storage space in room apart from hanging rail, terrible 'hospitality tray' (meagre supplies, paper cups, instant coffee), freshly ground coffee for breakfast would be easy and much nicer than 'American coffee' from an urn, warmed plates for hot food at breakfast.

Very disappointed with our room. Decor very tired. Asked to change rooms but hotel was fully booked therefore it was not possible. Staff were very friendly and attentive our only issue was with the room.

Liked the hotel, however, I had problems with the bath, it had no handles, so I had problems getting out of it. Also the constant noise of fans was somewhat unpleasant, ever though mind was turned off. It was pleasant to walk along the river.

We stood in the hotel for 3 nights. It was really nice, the room was clean, the service was helpful, the breakfast was lovely. Only one experience I was negative surprised: During a nap in daytime the cleaning personal was knocking on our door. I said "no", they didn't understand. After a while again - knocking on the door. I said "no", and again, and again. After this I got a call from the reception: the cleaning personal want clean my room. I said, that I already know that and that I do not want that. It was awful and annoying, even the call of the reception. I don't know, what they think by behaving this way.

Neat rooms, adequate facilities but just an edge of cost cutting and skimping that shows in the little things that make a difference. For example:. Only 3coffee pods and 1 decaf. No tea or coffee mugs only paper cups. One glass only also only plastic. Why not just put cups and glasses in. It's a little more overhead but huge difference in the hotel experience. It's more like camping. The toilet paper is the worst in a long time, again it's like camping. Priveledge room had lots of space and excellent design with separate toilet. But the above things detracted a lot from the stay and were really noticeable. Decaf coffee in the morning out of a paper cup is not what you expect in a mercure hotel. Well now I do.

We were moved to another hotel as there was an electrical fault slim our allocated room. The taxi took almost 1 hour to arrive and was not told by the hotel that they would pay his fair. Also the hotel that we had been sent to told us we had to pay for our room they were quite blunt and didn’t seem to realise that your hotel had sent us. Your hotel didn’t tell us that we had to pay and that they would reimburse us for the night that we were unable to stay with you
