« It is always enjoyable staying at the Sofitel Jinan! »

I always enjoy staying at the Sofitel Jinan Silver Plaza. When I made my booking, I contacted the hotel with a number of requests for the room, all of which were not too much trouble for the staff. In previous stays during Winter, our room had been unbearably hot. Due to the heating being centrally controlled, the air conditioning has little effect in the rooms. I mentioned this in my email to the hotel, and was quite delighted when I entered the room and it was not too hot. I had requested a blanket be put into the wardrobe, just in case the usual quilt was too warm to comfortably sleep. Due to the cool temperature of the room, the blanket was not required, but I appreciate the staff placing it into the room for us! As I was arriving in Jinan quite late, my girlfriend was permitted to check-in prior to my arrival, which was appreciated. We were given a loyalty-status complimentary room upgrade, which is always appreciated! We were also given a loyalty-status complimentary late check out of up to 4pm, which meant we could relax and enjoy the early afternoon before we went to the train station. Breakfast was enjoyable - the staff are warm and friendly and the food delicious. This is one of the few Sofitels I have stayed at where the guests are not taken to a table by staff, nor offered tea or coffee upon seating. Perhaps this is due to the design of the restaurant. Not a complaint, merely an observation. Room service (club sandwich) took about 40 minutes to arrive (ordered at 11:15pm), which was acceptable, as the staff member had advised it would take 30-40 minutes. The sandwich was delicious, and the fries still warm upon arriving at the room. I always have an enjoyable stay at the Sofitel Jinan Silver Plaza, and I look forward to returning in the near future!

Front desk staffs are very nice, Italian restaurant staffs are warm and food are very tasty. One thing to improve is the restaurant which is located on 49th. The facilities are quit old.

« Comfortable stay experience with great service »

Arrived before check-in time and able to let me checked in with room upgraded. Concierge staff always helpful whenever we approved them for any inquiries. Check-out is fast and efficient. Breakfast with good choice but the taste is average for me; however, it's come with good view. When I arrived at Shijiazhuang, then only I noticed I left my purse in the room; before I call the Hotel to check, Mr Bill Guo-Assistant Manager has sent me an email. He has replied to me fast when I replied to his email and followed by a call. I have received my purse just before I leave the hotel in Shijiazhuang, all my belongings are still inside include cash and bank card. Thank you so much for the great service and fast response, this has help me to avoid further trouble for my trip as I was travelling to next 3 cities before I return home.

I loved stay in jinan sofitel.expecially on breakfast menu n place was very awesome.i just wana give some input.may be for the breakfast time hope the food can give us when serve at 6 o clock in the morning are ready all.because some menu not ready yet. And that menu that hotel give are not fresh from the oven.for example when I breakfast at 8 o clock all food are fresh from the oven.but when I start early in the morning like 6 o clock the food are not good taste.but overall are awesome

The location was convenient for our business trip. The staff was very nice and helpful. The club lounge provided an opportunity to relax both in the morning and after a day at work. My biggest issue was with the temperature in the rooms that was too warm and made some nights hard to sleep.

« A great stay »

Our stay was great. The staff made us feel welcome on arrival. The room was clean and well appointed. I did receive a room upgrade, however did not receive any drink vouchers. The room (4108) was very hot and stuffy upon arrival and the air conditioning appeared to only blast hot air, and not cold. To fix this, we had to open the windows, but the pollution outside coming into the room affected my asthma a little. Furthermore, the rain shower appeared to require some maintenance, as very little water flowed through it, instead water came from above above the shower head (I think that it is blocked a bit). The shower drain closest to the door was also blocked, but this was not an issue as there was a second drain. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow. We ended up using 4g due to the speeds.
