The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for the work I was in Coventry for. A comfortable chair in the bedroom would have been nice and air conditioning that worked all of my stay - it seemed t stop working part way through so the room got very hot.

The stay was extremely let down by the fact we went to an all night event and had paid for a late check out. We returned to the hotel at 7am and from 10:30 out door was knocked 7 times between 10:30 and 13:00 completely disturbing any sleep we urgently needed. The chamber maids were told several times we paid for late check out and then the receptionist started to knock who was told the same- my rely was you’d have to pay for late check out I said I have and have a receipt. After a lot of disruption and zero communication between all staff they acknowledged we had a late check out but it had not been entered on the system correctly... but really 7 separate knocks at door and me telling each individual...

Good but far too hot

The location and room facilities are good but it was so hot it was uncomfortable and you cannot control the temperature. It looks like you have individually controlled take con/heating but it it set uniformly acrosd the hotel. Even with the window open the small gap it allowed we were unpleasantly hot in the night and had to get out straight away in the morning. Reception couldn't do anything to help. Other than that, the facilities were great and the staff very friendly.

This hotel is geared to short stays. The room was basic, I was moved from one with broken AC, but had to have a broken kettle replaced and a defective shower was never fixed. The "restaurant " is part of the hotel lobby, with a very limited menu. Breakfast was basic, though the coffee was good. Short walk to the railway station, but little else nearby.

Room was lovely, goox size snd clean, however the windows would not shut completely and the road outside was very busy so it was quite noisy and we had to use earplugs

Booked a double bed and when I got to room found they were twin beds. Not satisfactory so I complained and was told due to a problem with water some bedrooms out of action and no double bed available Then I was offered the wheelchair access room as it was the only one with a double bed I tried it but the (air con?) generator outside the window was so loud I realised I wouldn’t be able to sleep so was forced to take a single bed which resulted in poor quality of sleep for two days

I found the staff extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. I would have rated the hotel a 10, except for two small niggles: the beds were extremely narrow and any noise in the corridor sounded loud in the room.
