I had a case of dinner ordered but forgotten; housekeeping crew not always providing required number of towels; no slippers as done in the past; complementary tea in the room not always replaced when consumed.

My Stay was cool, the kitchen staff were friendly, except for the too frequent power on and off which blew my BT electronic gadget, the Nigerian swallow/soups also needs improvement.

I found my last stay most unsatisfying. This is a rather dissatisfying experience compared to previous stay. Firstly, there was no phone directory in the room to contact relevant support. This was complained about yet nothing was done. Then, there was the issue with the water system bringing out only hot water, i hardly had a good bath during my 3 day stay. Next is the issue of the air-conditioning system not cooling even on the lowest temperature and also no moveable remote control, this was so frustrating as i always had to reach out - with sleepy eyes - to the wall-mounted control at the door to adjust temperature. this defeats the comfort that one expects. The quality of service in my last experience falls short of expectation.

Only burning hot water in the shower (last visit, different room: only cold water)...cheap maintenance. Breakfast selection: complete but cheap ingredients. Was staying in double room for 3 nights with my wife, first 2 nights had to ask for second set of towels... Cheap service.

Quiet environment. Nice rooms. Great food and I enjoyed the swimming pool side. Swimming at 7pm was therapeutic. Service was top notch. Nice Staff with amazing commitment. Joyce and Mr Alphonse at the Reception were nice, Miss Olamide at the Restaurant was so up and doing, everywhere. The female Hotel Manager, was special.

I was satisfied, however the cost of lodging in Mercure is quite exobitant for an individual guest. Cost of consumables like food and common drinks are unnecessarily too exobitant.
