Great hotel, fresh and clean with good staff. Lovely experience except benches in lobby that have no back to them. They are sitting in front of wooden posts. I bumped my head so hard it almost knocked me out when I sat down.

Robinhood Business - 15/09/2019 AccorHotels review

Poor service experience at one of the best brand names in hospitality. At check in I had informed regarding my loyalty no. and membership no. of Accor hotels and was assured the same would be reflected ("just by tracking the email id"). in spite of a week gone by after check out, no points are credited and I am left to chase the hotel and Accor, no satisfactory response yet. Late check out request for 30 mins was not accepted and reception asked me to pay $30 which is ridiculous given that I had stayed for 4 nights. Very first day I had bleeding in my feet as minute shreds of glass were left on the carpet. Instead of offering me something to appease, I did not even get the prompt housekeeping I was promised immediately. Overall, it was a poor experience and the staff have no idea of what hospitality is.

Check-in experience excellent, and room very comfortable. Was there for a meeting, and it took almost all day to get the freezing-cold meeting room warmed up, despite numerous requests.

The staff was wonderful. The room was very nice with great views of the city. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to museums, great restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. We also thank the hotel for providing a wonderful anniversary surprise.

We always loved staying at the Sofitel in Philadelphia, but will no longer do so moving forward. The new floors were so slippery, we nearly fell every time we set foot on it. The breakfast was very disappointing as was the cleanliness of the room.

I was pleased with my stay at the Sofitel. I appreciate the coffee and tea station in the mornings, however I remember the trash can was small and had an issue closing. A suggestion would be putting a taller full sized receptacle so guests are not trying to reach under the table to throw away small items.

Extraordinary. I am an elite Westin (now Marriott) member. Have been for years. A colleague suggested that I try the Sofitel in Phila. I did last weekend and had an exceptional experience. All the way around. The accommodations were great. The Sofitel staff could not have been more accommodating. Really don’t have enough good things to say about the experience, and I am tough critic (stay in hotels more than 90 days a year).

The room was nice, but the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the shower, this happened on each of the days we were with you. In the gym, there were no wipes to clean the machines after use. We had breakfast in the restaurant our last morning, the service was very slow (despite there being no great crowd) and my ranchos huevos were not the best I have experienced.

Mattress needs upgrade

Room was clean and spacious, ample towels in bathroom, however mattress needs upgrade. Mattress topper was not sufficient to make an old mattress comfortable. All hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating.. .

Out stay was great. The staff was fantastic and helpful and the location is perfect. The room we stayed in had some nice upgrades but still showed signs of wear, which I’d heard from others who stayed there. I thought a luxury suite would maybe solve that, while it didn’t the room was still very nice. It was an anniversary trip and for that I may try a different hotel at this price point for our next trip. But, I do want to emphasize the great staff all around, everyone was very nice and made things easy.

I was disappointed that we received no housekeeping, was interrupted late in afternoon and was resting before our evening. also didn't realize that we were in the ada room which the shower was difficult to use standing up, and the vanity was cracked and the towel bar kept falling off near the sink, toilet seat looked dated/scratched and just thought for the price it should have been at least told to me that I was going to be in ada room didn't realize until it was already halfway through my stay and didn't want to have to move rooms.

I tried to book online but because I had a wedding code it didn’t work so I had to call the Hotel directly.

i thought the wedding party charge was $248.00. I was charged an extra $100.00

Please allow me to express my sincerest apologies for any miscommunication regarding your charges. The $100.00 was a pre-authorization for any possible incidentals. If you did not have any incidentals charges, the $100.00 will be released/credited back to you within 5-7 business days after your departure, depending on your bank.
