Very speedy check in and check out... The only thing which was frustrating was by keys did not work upon in the afternoon - even though i had pre paid for late check out No assistance with baggage upon arrival with the taxi - un like the amazing bell service at Pullman.

Apart from the interrupted sleep due to maintenance alarms, the overall was very good. From Jim and Andrew at the Bar to the receptionist that looked after the check in and check out.

I was put in a room right opposite Novotel's staff elevator. After a long flight and a long day at work, sleep is important. However, staff were being too loud outside my room (for both nights that I stayed there). These guys should have been more considerate.

Reception staff were pleasant & had everything ready for us, room was clean as always. Sofa bed wasn't made up & we had rang earlier for this but housekeeping came up quickly to fix up. Lady at the bar was a rude & couldn't take 3 minutes to answer a question so she clicked on the fridge lights to save talking to me, but she was the only downside. We were late getting back to check out after a hold up at an event we attended in the morning & the staff couldn't help us anymore. Great stay as usual.

« Disappointing experience from check-in to the room allocated. »

On check-in, as an Accor Gold member, I have previously been welcomed with my room keys ready. On this occasion, despite being contacted by a member of your team on Friday, no room keys were ready, no complimentary drink vouchers were provided, and no internet access was offered. When I made it to my room, it was opposite the service elevator and had a large laundry trolley outside the door (which was there for most of the duration of my stay). The noise in the room ending in '30' is ridiculous with it being so close to both the service and main elevators and as a hotel, you need to consider how you can make it more soundproof so that your guests can enjoy a decent night's sleep. I was further disappointed to find that my room only had a shower, and not a bath, though I hadn't specifically requested this.

« We have stayed at Novotel Homebush a number of times before and have previously been impressed, not this time! »

We encountered a number of issue during our 2 night stay. When we checked in on a bed and breakfast package, the staff member could not tell us what time breakfast was served until. When we came back later that afternoon we were told 11am on both Saturday and Sunday however we arrived for breakfast at 10.20am we were told they were closing at 10.30am. After a full evening of our son competing, we were looking forward to returning to our room and ordering room service. I tried ringing room service a number of times and there was no answer. I also tried calling the restaurant and reception and had the same result. Wish led to me having to get dress and go downstairs to order. The staff member didnt apologise just asked what I wanted to order. We were woken early (6.30am) by very loud music coming from the lawns out the front of the hotel. Whilst I acknowledge this was not the hotels fault, it did disturb our stay. We had request a late checkout on Sunday which we were told was until 2pm however when we returned to the hotel at 12 noon we could not re-enter our room. So again had to go back downstairs to have our cards reactivated. The staff member was rude and made us feel our request was too difficult. The gentleman who served us upon our checkout was the nicest service we received all weekend. We have stayed with a number of Accor hotels and will be doing a lot of travel over the next 12 months so decided to invest in Accorplus membership. We left the weekend thinking that it was a waste of money and will be looking into other hotels for future trips.
