I lost my fitbit bracelet somewhere in the vicinity of the Novotel Hotel and staff could not do enough to assist in finding it. We were unable to locate it but the staff should be commended for going out of their way in assisting with the search.

I was supposedly upgraded due to being a Accor plus member, however a friend who also checked in and isn’t a Accor member was upgraded to a 1bedroim spa suite just because she’s a travel agent! This was disappointing

We stayed here as we were going to the Easter Show. Arrived early morning & checked-in but room not available. We stored our luggage and returned later in the day to find it in the room. Check-in and check-out very prompt. Breakfast buffet was good. Very convenient for events at Olympic Park. Would stay again.

the room and service to the room was at an 8. the experience with the food service during the Easter weekend was well below average. the restaurant closed before 9:00pm and people working at the show were offered to order bar ford no better quality than food at the show. breakfast I was told I had to have full buffet at $34.00 or nothing. while my colleague was offered an light breakfast

« Upgraded room but situated right outside the lift »

Check in was easy and quick which was great - recieved an upgrade to my room to trial some new health and wellness options (alarm clock and shower pods) Alarm clock was confusing to try and use so gave up pretty quickly.. Shower pods were nice..

« The bathroom and towells had a foul odour, and we could smell cigarette smoke which was very disappointing as our daughter was swimming at the CHS State swimming championships and it affected our sleep. »

I found the hotel reception very pleasant and helpful, however when we entered our room our bathroom stunk, the towels had a very bad odour and we could smell traces of cigarette smoke. I found the general cleanliness of the hotel very lacking. Every time we entered the lifts the carpeted floor was very dirty and needed a vacuum and other guests room service was left on the floor outside their room in the hallway. Based on this stay, we will not be returning to the Novotel Olympic Park.

We had a great stay. Aside from the person at the counter late at night when we wanted to book in for breakfast the next morning (he was disinterested and rude), everyone was fantastic and very service focussed.

Windows were filthy, shelve under clock radio covered in fluff. Room was on small side. Parking at $40 was expensive. When we went downstairs for dinner, service was slow to non existent - 15 minute wait for drinks, we were only offered restaurant menu while other diners were ordering off bar menu which would have suited children better. Adult meals finally delivered and waiters says they have run out of children's pizza, so hungry children forced to wait longer for meal. Breakfast included but when we arrive our name was not on the list.

Well Simon, I don't think you will receive this however hear we go. We booked our stay at the Novotel and was given a curtesy call on the sat before leaving home to see Novotel could do any thing in advance to help with our stay. THIS WAS GOOD and PROFESSIONAL. Our Room 734 was in a clean condition no Problems there ! Out side windows where that dirty we kept the curtain closed BUT I diverse. Your drive way and footpaths where filthy, as was your tile floor in reception and the bar area, No tomato juice for a simple bloody marry. Wait time at the bar was exhausting. we booked a table for 4 at 1700 fo 1830 sit down. We arrived to a packed house, no notice of our booking and when I said look we will go somewhere else they said ok ! "O" give me a moment and then the curtains where drawn back to reviele tables and chairs ??? another couple seated in this area as well. Then for some reason the curtain was drawn again. We waited and waited and waited for drinks to be served and waited some more. We ordered garlic bread, the kids where starving. Never came. We could see the resurant emptying out But still NO FOOD or the couple in the corner (Who came in for dinner after the football game) they where furious. Well simon 1.50 hours latter our food turned up with ou the garlic bread and then finnaly the garlic bread. ($125.00) what a joke.(we didnt dare wait or ask for desert. The carpets in the dining room where filthy but not only that the waiters couldnt be bothered to pick up loose rubbish on the floor. (no 3 second rool hear)! Breakfast o my GOD you need to put a suposetry under some of them. The floor was even filther it that was even possible, The hot food OK only if you wanted scrabled eggs. Your toaster was throughing bread out the back NO body coul;d find what was happening to there bread when they put it in untill we all looked behind the machine. Then it was cold. We waited that long for lifts that some of the guest came down the service elevator and got of the first floor before it got to the kitchen. Your elevators where filthy in fact simon every thing you touched was filthy. I know the hotel was fully booked they told me about the SSA swimming carnival BUT have they ever herd of rostering extra staff. I have stayed at accord hotels over seas. and darling harbour etc etc this was the worst experience in a 4 star hotel i / we have ever had in 66 years. If we ran our business with the care free attitude your staff had we would be out of business in a flash and we only employ 10. Well i am surte I have missed other things to sday but you surley must get the picture Kindest regards Stay well Phillip and Lucy D. (&) Family
