« From Booking to check out, everything was wrong. »

1. Hotel booking website is confusing. If it is not able to cancel, it has to be more clear 2. Could not sleep because of the sound in ventilation. I requested changing the room next day. 3. Another room safety box was broken, I had to carry all of my valuables all the time. 4. Miscommunication at check-in, that only 1 room had breakfast. My client whose room was booked by me could not have breakfast. 5. I made complain and your employees made me feel like I am a bad customer. Unless no other choice, I will never use Novotel.

« Distinctly average »

On my second night there the room I was staying in was called twice since the admin had no record of a person staying there, this was quite aggravating. On my second morning there at breakfast I was immediately given a receipt for the more expensive "Breakfast Buffet" option. I was not asked whether I wanted this and it was ignored that I was eating what was clearly an Express Breakfast. Thankfully the person who checked me out was understanding and dealt with this in a professional manner.

Got a room, entered and the room was already occupied. At the reception the offered me a voucher for the bar...I made them giving me an upgrade but actually they should have given me directly an upgrade.

« Good place for business or simply visiting Zürich »

Close to Zürich transport system (less than 10 minutes walk from Zürich Hadbrücke train station and 4 minutes from the tramway line), this modern / design Novotel fits with the Swiss modern style of Zürich commercial and business buildings . Personnel welcomes you nicely during check in. Breakfast with a large choice in pleasant space. Interior decoration (front desk and lounge) is fine even though it remains completely a Novotel style in guest rooms (no surprise). Clean and comfortable (coffe machine and fridge with drinks were applicable and depending on room level). Location is fine considering several possibilities if you prefer to have dinner outside.

« Really pleasant stay in a nice hotel »

It was a pleasant experience, with a nice service (especially a really kind bartender). One thing I would mention is that the minibar in the room could not be closed properly and the ligtht was shining into my face through all the night which was not nescessarly a pleasant experience. When I reported that to the desk nothing was fixed.

« Room OK - Very poor wi-fi in room 232 - Breakfast not good »

The wi-fi service in room 232 was intermittent and at times very poor. There was only a vague signal for my second evening there. Breakfast on the first morning was very badly cooked. Burned bacon - poor quality meats generally. Cheese selection looked like it had been there for quite some time. The second morning was slightly better but still under par compared to most other hotels I have stayed in. The desk staff member who checked me in was really good. He was very helpful and sorted out several things for me. Please say thank you if possible.

I stayed for two nights on business and didn't eat, drink or use the facilities at the hotel. It was an acceptable place to sleep and the service was courteous. More than that, I couldn't say.
