Newly reconstructed room was fine, the dark side of the stay: 1. hotel gym - there is ONE machine to train - it was out-of-order for my whole stay 2. breakfast - for 29CHF not at the level I would expect (comparing to Sheraton/Renaissance in ZRH) 3. no wardrobe in the room, only open shelves.

The company was there already on the first day, but the delivery of the defective part took a few days. I can only apologize for that. Thank you for the feedback regarding our breakfast buffet. My stay was OK-ish. The room was nice and spacious although it was very cold in the room when I entered and the air condition didn't help much. I reported at the reception desk that the coffee machine was broken, the container for water was leaking hence it wasn't possible to make a coffee and the shower was also leaking. Check-out was very pleasant (very friendly staff).

I selected Novotel Zurich City West due to a convenient location and positive feedback of travelers who stayed there with their families. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel and succeeded in all our pre-planned activities in Zurich. Instead of having to book any night in Luzern, we optimized our travel plan by a day trip from Zurich to Luzern using the hotel as reliable base.

I stayed in Novotel in diffent countries before but stayed here in France for 3 nights and the customer service at this hotel is really not great - always have to wait for small things, also towels in the room were not changed and also I was charged extra than what I was promised on the phone when booking.

I assume that your comment is related to the hotel reception. Of course I'll take care of that and find a solution with the appropriate people. The towels should be changed daily, unless you do not leave them on the floor. In this case, we assume that you support our resource-saving program and agree to the reuse of your towels. If we made a mistake here, I apologize. After investigation I had to realize that another hotel made your reservation with us. For this reason, it is difficult for me to understand whether the oral information was different. However, what is automatically set, is the confirmation of the reservation by mail. May I ask you to check it once and if it should be different, please let me know. I will than have look at it in detail. Normally, except for the garage everything should be listed. We were greeted warmly at reception and there was no delay with checking, even though we needed to arrange packed breakfasts for our second morning, including one gluten free. The room was clean, although we found a rogue box of tic tacs hidden in the brochures! Beds comfy, bathroom well appointed, and Wimbledon on the tv! WiFi in room was good. Pool a bit of a bonus, disappointed no sauna. Breakfasts, both in the restaurant, when we ate in the garden, and packed, were excellent. Good quality food and plenty of choice. The hotel is close to the tram stop only 10 mins from the main train station so very handy but slightly out of town, so quieter. Friendly checkout too.

Hi, I am on a trip and could not call customer service and complaint, which i will be doing soon. But in the mean time - i would tell here the issue, if it is making any sense. While booking, i paid for the service early checkin which should be available for me from 8 AM. Due to the delays in baggage claim in Zurich airport, i arrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the reception did not provide me a room until 1 PM. I insisted that i paid for early checkin since i know i am coming earlier than the normal check in time. If you can't provide a service why you provide that option to buy and isn't it right that you return the charges ??

Very much appreciated the overall layout of the property with places to sit outside, a small playground for children and courtyard. The only drawback is the lack of good gym facilities which is the only reason why I wouldn’t stay again.

I checked-in online. My room key was not ready, on arrival. During the online check-in process I had to re-enter all my data. Normally with accorhotels.com the data is pre-filled in the check-in form. I have better things to be doing with my time. The shower room was dated and did not feel as clean as one associates with Novotel. I have stayed at Ibis Styles hotels in Switzerland which had more to offer. The food and the service in the restaurant were excellent. The wine was somewhat less than excellent at the price point.

Unfortunately I had to report a scatter of a previous guest's toe nail clippings on the carpet next go the bed. Reception immediately requested that housekeeping attend. The nail clippings were still there. This is disgusting!!

The room was good and as expected at Novotel. However, the mattress was not comfortable. I could not get sound sleep. The bathroom was quite slippery and as a matter of fact my husband slipped in the shower and was unconscious for about 30 sec., till date he is having pain in his tail bone.

In a 4 star category hotel there should be bell boy to carry your luggage to and from room ... good service in the restaurant

Staff was very friendly and I requested to arrange a small cake for my Daughter as we went there on her birthday they got a decorated plate of chocolates with a birthday balloon without any charges and room was newly renovated so it was a nice experience.

Our stay was just ok. Hotel location was good. Also, at the time of check-in, we were informed that our booking was cancelled , however front desk person immediately arranged everything and provided us the room. Also, there was nothing complimentary, even for cutlery we were charged 5 francs. Rooms were also very small for 2 adults and 2 kids but I guess this is the standard size. I would have preferred a better room but minimum complimentary services. Thanks

All the staff at the Reception desk was wonderful. Laura and Tawi were so knowledgeable and informative. Tobias gave us a lovely welcome back when we returned to stay at your hotel the second time by putting sweet desserts in our room. He even upgraded our room to to a suite as we had a very stressful trip because we thought our money was taken from the room! The money was later found and called and emailed to apologize to the Novotal- Zurich West team. Tobias was very understanding and I was glad that we could return to your hotel to apologize in person.

1. Room was OK (could have been better in terms of space). 2. Housekeeping did good cleaning however Still Water was not placed in the Mini bar 3. The Breakfast was not good. Not much options for Vegetarian especially when many Indians are staying. I will rate Breakfast -10. Lack of good breakfast has demotivated for not staying in Novotel again.
