« Friendly staff, clean and pleasant rooms and great breakfast. »

The staff checked us in quickly. The room was clean and adequate. The trains outside were noisy but when the window was closed was much better. The air conditioning was not working well so the window had to be open at night while sleeping. The bathroom was adequate but we were not supplied with facial tissues. The breakfast was just right but I would have liked muesli and boiled eggs. The bread was delicious as was the coffee, tea and orange juice.

Staff friendly Rooms need electrical fixtures to be sorted. Room needs some refurbishment - no way closer to what is shown in pictures at booking. Initially we were allocated a room that was nothing less than dungeon. We requested for change & staff accommodated it. Vatachagan is outstanding member of staff, happy to help & goes extra mile to keep the customer happy.

Check in was great, the guy was very helpful. Throughout our stay I came across some shocking things. One day I went to order 3 glasses of wine and asked if the wine is "SWEET" there were 3 people at reception and looked like none of them had eve taste wine before in their life and didn't know what "sweet" is. If you think about it, I stay in France, let alone Paris which has one of the best wine selection and yet people still look at me for asking if the wine is "sweet". Unbelievable. Ibis you clearly need to train your staff a lot more so they don't look stupid and misinformed infront of guests. Another thing which quite shocked me was, when I left luggage after checkout. There was an African male, very very young, who took our luggage. He was unbelievably unprofessional and couldn't care less about any of us. He took our luggage inside, and I had to put the luggage tag MYSELF around each luggage piece - I mean, wait a second(?) Isn't that supposed to be Concierges job?????? After a while, we went back to hotel as our train was about to arrive at Eurostar, to collect our luggage. I was out of words and literally wanted to complain straight away, but we didn't have enough time for drama. What I saw was utterly disgusting. Basically, I went to Reception, I told them I got luggage to collect. A lady that was rather "fluffy" opened luggage doors and let us in even without checking our TICKETS. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS NONSENSE?????? For all I know, anyone could have walked in that room, without showing any tickets and claimed my luggage and Volta, £15000 items in luggage would have disappeared because of some stupid operation. One thing I know for sure, I will never ever stay in this hotel again and NEVER stay in 3 star hotels in general. I literally want compensation for the moral stress I was going through the day we left hotel.

It is true that we do not have any qualified sommelier to take care of our tiny bar although our team always enjoys conversation with their clients. Please be advised that we are going to develop our bar service by the end of the year offering our guests a larger variety of products with a new menu; and be assured that our team is going to be trained. Regarding our storage room, our guests are usually happy to be able to store their suitcases for free before and after their stay. They are given a ticket with a number and the ticket is then checked by our front desk staff when the guests come and collect their luggage. « Good central location to commute »

Location was good as in centre of Paris with access to both Metro and main line train stations. Considering it is 3 star it should have kettle in room to make tea and coffees, my elderly parents would have preferred this comfortable rather than drinking from machine in reception area. Some twin and 3 bed rooms are very small not enough space to walk in room and no sitting place.

« Very basic hotel with no frills »

1. Arrived early at the hotel as was coming from an early morning flight with an infant and elderly parents. Requested for early check in which was bluntly refused. 2. Request for a shaving razor for which I was directed to a vending machine saying we don’t provide 3. They kept insisting we are 3 star we can only do so much which was vert frustrating. 4. Same food is served everyday for breakfast and absolutely nothing changes. Cold breads - no toaster , cereals, 1 fruit and coffee /tea/juice 5. Requested for an airport taxi to be booked. Had to call multiple times to follow up 6. Only 1 bottle of small water is given to you during checkin which is meant to be used for as long as you stay in the hotel 7. In spite of letting the staff know we were checking out at 4am they didn’t agree to return the breakfast charges or offer to pack breakfast for us. Overall if you don’t have any expectations from the hotel and want use it only for your night stay you can go ahead. Metro and train station is close to the hotel. Unlimited coffee is provided (if u like the taste of it though)

Please be advised that check-in time is at noon although we would have been happy to give you your keys earlier if the room had been available. In the meantime, we do offer our guests to store their luggage in our storage room and to help themselves with the coffee machine if they like. Please accept my sincerest apologies if our staff did not make you feel welcome; be assured that our Front Desk Manager has been advised of your disappointment. For your information, bottles of water are delivered to our guests' rooms on arrival day. You are certainly welcome to fill in your bottle with fresh water from our fountain in our lounge, at your disposal 24/24h. As for breakfast, it is already included in our rates, and so it is in all Ibis Styles hotels. Therefore, you do not get to be refunded. Glad you enjoyed our complimentary coffee/tea machines although be advised that we do sell nespressos at the bar if the free coffee is not to your taste. Good hotel and facilities were good too. Breakfast was typical continental style - but milk was not cold! Appreciate the weather was hot but nothing worse than ‘warm’ milk on your cereal! Also a fridge in the room would have been good!

The hotel was far below our expectations. When we arrived, there was an overwhelming smell of detergent both along the hallway and in the room. The intensity of the citrus smell in the air suggested the covering up of an underlying stench. This made sleeping on the first night very unpleasant. The room itself was in poor condition. The walls were unpresentable. When the curtains were drawn open, they revealed large blotches of white paint on a dark grey wall perhaps as a result of the patching up of holes or cracks. The ceiling had brown stains and the door frame from the interior perspective had several screws sporadically spread out along the top panel, suggesting that the frame was previously ripped out. The bathroom was the most disappointing. There was a big hole on the right corner between the rim and the wall that was in front of the body of the bathtub. There were also holes between the tiled walls (where the shower head was located) and the tub. Aesthetics aside, showering was also very uncomfortable. The temperature of the water was impossible to regulate. The water would turn from hot to cold without any adjustment through the turning of the handle. All we could do was to leave the water running and wait to go under when the water was warm and get out of the water stream when it turned cold. The breakfast was limited and uninteresting. I would suggest that instead of whipping up a batch of eggs in a bowl and zapping them in a microwave, the hotel could just provide individual hard boiled eggs. That would look more appetising. This is the first time I have ever stayed at an Ibis hotel and this hotel certainly does not create a good impression. Such a room should not have been let out to their guests. The strength of the hotel lies in its location. It is right next to a metro station and closely located to the train station.

It was awful, the room was dirty, it was noisy all night I just could not sleep and would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Actually my last stays at any accor hotels have been awful, I am considering to return my loyalty card to you. And on top of that I have again received this survey twice just like last time for my stayed in Rome, where you took all my points to book this awful hotels and never even reacted to any of my comments.

I stayed at your hotel with my wife on July 2, 2018 and our reservation number is GLPLBGQH. We were given the room on 6th floor with no Air Conditioner. After informing front desk, they mentioned to wait for 15-30 mins and it will be on. We want out and came back at 12 midnight. Air conditioner was till not working and while taking to staff that night. They offered fan and said don’t have any room available to switch. We came to Paris after 15 hours of flight and wanted to spend 1st night near the train station. Just because of no air conditioner in room we could not sleep whole night and while complaining in the morning also. No one seems to care and said just send email with your concern. It’s not fair to pay full price of room and not get service which is mentioned on website. If you can please get back to me with some resolution. Thanks, Jitin G.
