I’m very used to Ibis Styles has I use this hotel for business regularly and unfortunately this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. The room clearly needs some refurbishment overall and the breakfast buffet is in need of an upgrade: baguette felt stale, lack of fresh juice, 2 selection of fruits only Will only consider returning because of the location as it is right next to the underground.

« Durty and moisture eveywhere »

The room was not very clean, leaky sink, and moisture all around the walls and windows. The seals in the bathroom were dark of moisture. I didn't feel comfortable at all! It's the 2d time that i am going to this hotel: on my first stay, theret was the same problem of moisture on the walls. I do think the whole hotel has to be renovated.

« Great hotel with terrible reception service »

Hotel room, lounge area facilities and dining offering is exceptionally good. However the whole experience is marred by terrible unfriendly reception desk staff. We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and never once been greeted by front desk with a smile who all - male and female - looked like they just had Botox on their entire cheeks and eyes. Clearly people who just show up for the "job" without passion nor heart. Contrast however the housekeeping ladies have been the shining stars of this hotel - always friendly and smiling everytime we come across them in the corridors. What a shame French customer service could not match the spectacular settings the city represents.

The hotel is well situated, my room was spacious as was the bathroom.The staff was outstanding in their cordiality and pleasantness. There were two aspects where the hotel could improve. I wish only there were safe deposit boxes in the rooms, and my room - 703 - smelled of cigarette smoke, perhaps from the days when smoking was allowed in the hotel.

Being an Accor client for so many years I expected the same standard when I booked this hotel. However, I was quite surprised by the ppor standard in this hotel. The checkin experience was a disaster, the reception good barely speak any English, not as clean as most Ibis hotels (carpet is really a mess), they actually LOCK the emergency exits at night !! ( according to staff it's for security reasons). There are however some good points: breakfast is ok and good location.

I booked two rooms , one for me , one for my friend pre paid, my friend had to pay again on arrival and when I arrived I was not given the refund due straight away , when I came back I was told the manager was not available and I would need to wait an hour, when I insisted the receptionist then got the manager who then issued the refund. I was not offered the welcome drink, and had to ask the receptionist initially said that this was not given you get water in the room (there was no bottle of water in my room or the sweet styles normally leave on the bed) the receptionist then checked and realised I was a member and then gave me the welcome drink. But the customer service experience at the hotel was appalling, the staff were not rude, but thoughtless.

I reached hotel at 8.15 in Morning was told all rooms are full and check in time is at noon . I have to wait till noon . I had long flight From Caribbean 10hrs flight . Plus time difference. Around 9 front desk called me and ask if I want early check in I have to € 15. No choice but to agree to pay 15€ . Finally got in room at 9.30 First night when I reached back at hotel after work room was not clean. Call front desk to come and see . They say they will complain to management. They can’t come in room and look .

« Premium service at an affordable price »

Nathan was our reception person and he was a font of information. He conversed fluently in English but also assisted me with improving my French. My sons felt comfortable asking any query with Nathan. His service to use was faultless. The breakfast and beds were superb as well. I am eager to stay again when next in Paris.

The customer service people were very professional and nice. The breakfast was really good. The bathrooms in the rooms were not cleaned very well. Areas in The bathroom we're filthy for example we're The tub and sink met The lamps were dusty.

« Great value, great location, I stay here every time I am in Paris. »

Staff were friendly and helpful as always. The room was a typical Ibis room: basic but clean. When I first arrived, I was given a room that had mold on the ceiling in part of the bathroom, but when I pointed this out to the staff, they immediately switched me to a different room. Breakfast includes several types of breads/pastry, ham, cheese, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, tea and coffee. I have stayed here several times and have a good experience each time. I really like the location -- literally above a metro station and close to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The neighborhood is not really touristy but there are lots of typical small businesses like pastry shops, small restaurants, shops and grocery stores so you can experience "real" Paris.

The hotel is well located and very convenient for public transport. The rooms are OK. What makes the difference is the staff. They went out of their way to help me with my requests, even though they were very busy over New Year's Eve. I will definitely go back again.

« Ok five nights »

We felt welcome on arrival. The room was big but it could use renovation. Air in the room wasn't so fresh and cleaners used way too much some kind of fragrance or washing substance and the whole room smelled awful a long time. Other than that it was OK stay.

« Ok, not as good as other Ibis styles »

1. Breakfast below standard (though grateful for it). 2. Clean up could be better and availability of coffee and tea service after breakfast poor / below other experiences at other Ibis styles - the manager ordered us out (yelled it) as we came back to fill up bottles... there wasn't a kettle in the room, so no option really! 3. Showers pretty old. Room looks tired. 4. Good security tho 5. They have a PlayStation demo installed which was fun 6. They have the transport options shown in a screen inside the lobby, which was useful
