Good location just 10-15 minutes walk from Gar du nord. Reception staffs are friendly and helpful. Anyway bed room is ok , clean but pretty too warm and rest room is not so clean , especially on floor and basin , it may not be used any brush or cleaning liquid to clean them . and last one We stayed 3 nights but hotel maid just clean our room only after 1st night but didn’t clean room up after 2nd night.

Good for rail connection to Gare de l'Est (5 mins straight walk). Noisy crowded breakfast room but good breakfast. Rooms small but beds & shower fine.

Amazing bed, great and very helpful staff but the room was in terrible condition. The lowest quality Ibis I have ever stay in. Please renovate the rooms, and especially bathroom in a room 814.

As others have said, the hotel is pretty run down and not worth the money we payed 150€No basic amenities provided such as toothpaste, brush, kettle and tea in room (although they do have a drink machine at the foyer so not too bad). The carpet, shower, bed sheet and walls in our room seems pretty dirty. The breakfast was disappointing with below average varieties. Only the fresh orange juice machine was the highlight. I'd recommend people to avoid eating too much of the hotel breakfast and go outside to try proper French breakfast food.

I know the hotel from previous visits and everything was as expected. The one observation that I would make is that there were one or two places in the room where wear and tear was distinctly evident.

Not a 3 Star hotel in my opinion. Not a very good neighborhood and too expensive at $188 euros a night. The shower and bathroom were not clean and unsatisfactory. The shower was extremely hot or cold and temperature varied greatly while I was showering. Decor needs to be updated and bathroom repaired.

« Reasonable for the price and location »

Stayed for one night due to convenient location for Gare du Nord and the fact that they had "family" rooms (the Ibis directly opposite the station could not cater for us in one room). Check-in was swift and efficient. The room was spacious, bright and basic, although the carpet needs changing and walls could do with a lick of paint. The bathroom was clean and the beds comfortable enough for a one-night stay. We went down for breakfast one minute late and most things had been cleared away, although a very nice gentleman brought out some croissants and mini pain au chocolat for us. From other people's trays I could see that the breakfast was quite varied. The coffee from the machine was absolutely awful, so I had to pay an extra €2.30 per coffee for a Nespresso. Checkout was also efficient and they had no problems in storing our luggage for a few hours. Relatively good value for money considering that it's Paris.

The check in process was quick and the customer service rep was excellent. She was very friendly and accommodating. I wish all hospitality hosts were so friendly. The hotel itself was ok as far as accommodations were concerned. The room was a bit dingy.

WE did not have a comfortable stay.The room given had the ceiling ripped and falling off. The air con was not working so was really hot. since we were facing the station we could not open the window due to the noise.

Ideal hotel for either Gare de L'Est or Gare de Nord. The twin rooms are spacious, and the beds are outstanding and extremely comfortable. Free breakfast is included. I like this hotel.

The staff checked us in quickly. The room was clean and adequate. The trains outside were noisy but when the window was closed was much better. The air conditioning was not working well so the window had to be open at night while sleeping. The bathroom was adequate but we were not supplied with facial tissues. The breakfast was just right but I would have liked muesli and boiled eggs. The bread was delicious as was the coffee, tea and orange juice.

Staff friendly Rooms need electrical fixtures to be sorted. Room needs some refurbishment - no way closer to what is shown in pictures at booking. Initially we were allocated a room that was nothing less than dungeon. We requested for change & staff accommodated it. Vatachagan is outstanding member of staff, happy to help & goes extra mile to keep the customer happy.

Check in was great, the guy was very helpful. Throughout our stay I came across some shocking things. One day I went to order 3 glasses of wine and asked if the wine is "SWEET" there were 3 people at reception and looked like none of them had eve taste wine before in their life and didn't know what "sweet" is. If you think about it, I stay in France, let alone Paris which has one of the best wine selection and yet people still look at me for asking if the wine is "sweet". Unbelievable. Ibis you clearly need to train your staff a lot more so they don't look stupid and misinformed infront of guests. Another thing which quite shocked me was, when I left luggage after checkout. There was an African male, very very young, who took our luggage. He was unbelievably unprofessional and couldn't care less about any of us. He took our luggage inside, and I had to put the luggage tag MYSELF around each luggage piece - I mean, wait a second(?) Isn't that supposed to be Concierges job?????? After a while, we went back to hotel as our train was about to arrive at Eurostar, to collect our luggage. I was out of words and literally wanted to complain straight away, but we didn't have enough time for drama. What I saw was utterly disgusting. Basically, I went to Reception, I told them I got luggage to collect. A lady that was rather "fluffy" opened luggage doors and let us in even without checking our TICKETS. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS NONSENSE?????? For all I know, anyone could have walked in that room, without showing any tickets and claimed my luggage and Volta, £15000 items in luggage would have disappeared because of some stupid operation. One thing I know for sure, I will never ever stay in this hotel again and NEVER stay in 3 star hotels in general. I literally want compensation for the moral stress I was going through the day we left hotel.

I do take notes of your remarks about our staff's lack of wine knowledge. It is true that we do not have any qualified sommelier to take care of our tiny bar although our team always enjoys conversation with their clients. Please be advised that we are going to develop our bar service by the end of the year offering our guests a larger variety of products with a new menu; and be assured that our team is going to be trained. Regarding our storage room, our guests are usually happy to be able to store their suitcases for free before and after their stay. They are given a ticket with a number and the ticket is then checked by our front desk staff when the guests come and collect their luggage.
