It's the fourth time I come to ibis budget Vanves, in the last two years, and I always find it better and better, more comfortable, new services, great breakfast; the personal is friendly and professional. And the close metro stop leads you to the main centre of Paris in few minutes. It will be always my choice for my next trips to Paris.

It is an Ibis budget hotel well situated, in Vanves , a very quiet zone which is a suburby of Paris but in fact is a sort of district of the city as the metro , the buses mke no difference It is Paris zone The room was clean and full of light, the bad was very confortable , the breakfast is as in the other budget hotels. I choosed this hotel because i had things to do in Vanves but in the future if i would visit Paris I would for sure stay at Ibis Portes des Vanves as long as near hotel the bus 58 goes directely to Chatelet

« Good service, clean rooms, bad room placement, bad food at bar »

The room was fine, the service was good (while a bit overwhelmed at times), but my room was very far from the elevator, and right next to what seemed to be police, and then later hotel staff(?), Also, by the time I had arrived the restaurant was closed, but the bar was open. However, the bar ran out of most of their dishes, and so I was treated to a reheated frozen pizza.

« Overheated October »

Management have decided to turn off Air conditioning. So you either suffer stifling heat or train and traffic noise. Missing towels, unmade beds and Gallic shrugs when mentioning anything to the staff.

« Nice room, but IBIS messed up the payment and caused us unnecessary stress »

The room was fine - very clean and comfortable. The staff seemed pleasant. However, the stay was ruined by a problem with payment. My company books travel through an approved agency, who gave the hotel a set of credit card details to use for the rooms I had reserved. We received confirmation that this was all ok and accepted by email. On arrival the receptionist (who spoke barely a few words of English) said we couldn't use that method of payment but wouldn't explain why. She said we had to pay on a different card, but the machine wouldn't accept my manager's card, so I had to pay over £1000 on my personal debit card with no advance notice. It will take some time to claim it back via expenses. This was extremely inconvenient for me, and caused unnecessary stress for everyone in the group. The hotel shouldn't have accepted our agent's payment details if it was not willing to use them.

« Was a nice experience the staffs are so friendly and kind. »

The room are cleaned and very comfortable but I'm disappointed with the breakfast it was so poor for the price charged. The reception staff are so kind and I would recommend the hotel for my friends without the breakfast.

I spent most time out of the room, however when we came back the room was always clean and tidy. We chose to have the breakfast included, and that was a really good decision, as the food was really good.

« Impressed with everything except for not getting any loyalty points for my last stay »

Some 15 years ago, I was running a Paris based company and spent most weeknights at a nearby IBIS in F-75012. The loyalty program at the time was rudimentary at best, thus, despite my very frequent bookings, I never qualified for anything more than a breakfast at best.In late June 2018, I had the occasion to stay at an IBIS after a long time and I was very imprseed with the layout of the room and its setup.Howver, I was disappointed that I did not qualify for any points either.Take care.Yours sincerely,Imy Kassamikassam@compuserve.com+32.472.927.333

We stayed for five days. Small room but very satisfied. Metro is just two minutes walk so it's very helpful. Only down fall is that they charged for breakfast but not English breakfast.

« Perfect for its purpose »

Travelled for Six Siege Major in Paris Expo. Check in simple, was able to access my room before 12. Was ideally located on the 13 line so it was easy to connect with anywhere in Paris. Also near a tabac, right beside a McDonald’s and has vending machines for last resort dinner or snacks. Room was all I needed - large bed, nice shower, not very spacious but it is a budget hotel. Great air conditioning as it was warm in Paris that week. Breakfast was good, just make sure you get there a bit for it ends as things didn’t get restocked often. Overall great value for money spent.

We stayed two nights as a family, great to be able to park underground very safe. Also you can walk to the metro in 2mins. Hotel staff helpful and clean room. We would book again the next time we come to Paris.

It was easy check in and out. Breakfast need to be improved. Limited options unlike Novotel. But rooms are clean and tidy. Good for family of 2+2. I had to book additional room because I have 3 kids. But over all ok

« Fine hotel, not good with problems »

Stayed in a 3-bed room, 3rd being a bunk bed over the others. 1) First night, we had to make the bed, not easy (took 20 minutes), but this is OK and also what we expected. We had to get the 3rd towel in reception. 2) Second night: cleaning service had straightened the lower beds, and REMOVED ALL SHEETS FROM THE UPPER BED. So again: we had to make the bed, not easy (took 20 minutes). We had to get the 3rd towel in reception. I explained that it was not funny to have to make the bed twice and I received appologies. Receptionist made note of room number at problem. Next morning I met cleaning responsible in their small cleaning office on 1st floor and also explained the situation to her. She also note the room number at instructions to leave the bed. 3) Third night: cleaning service had straightened the lower beds, and REMOVED ALL SHEETS FROM THE UPPER BED. So again: we had to make the bed, not easy (took 20 minutes). We had to get the 3rd towel in reception. Not a very pleasant experience! Do you expect guests to make the 3rd bed every single day?

The hotel is located on a good location, really close to a metro station. The rooms are pretty small and the towels are too. For breakfast they should put more options because you can only eat bread/ and corn flakes.
