On arrival into the room, the temperature was extemely hot - much above the outdoors and too hot to sleep. The room smelt and the toilet area was dirty.

I know what to expect from an Ibis budget but this one was not good! Dirty shower. Smelly bathroom. Not enough towels for 3 people. Extremelly hot inside. Basic is one thing but this eas a bit too basic and unconfortable

room was clean, big enough for 1 night stay over, free wifi, free parking on gated space, lady at the desk was friendly (spoke french to her so don't know if they speak other languages), toilet and shower slightly outdated, but clean, towels also rather old but clean, which is what I find most important. No airco in the room though breakfast was rather limited, but sufficient, we paid 54 euro for 1 night, 3 people and breakfast, I find this a good deal, don't expect great luxury, but a good deal for your money

« Fine for what you need it for »

Just needed somewhere to stay overnight whilst making way down through France. Hotel is pretty dated and run down now. Don’t think it’s been updated since it was opened. There is an impression that no one really cares. Bathroom and shower cabins smell musty (there is no ventilation) and lots of hairs on bedding. Door pin code was exactly the same for the three rooms we booked. But, alarmingly, when I assisted another family who were having trouble getting into their room, I discovered that their access code was also the same!! No security whatsoever.

« Filthy room, unpleasant staff, shame on Ibis for allowing this hotel to be open »

The room was filthy, and I mean filthy. Luckily we where on route to the uk and had cleaning products with us so at least I could clean the shower. We slept above the bed covers in our clothes. We had our own towels which we used. And our own pillows, thank goodness. I understand that it is a budget hotel. Buy really, their was no excuse for the star of the room. Never again. I will seriously re think staying at any Accor hotel in the future. I have pictures to back this up. I feel that a refund would be fair.

staff was friendly, room okay and clean, close to the highway, but no noise there off. No airco so room was bloody hot (it was 31 degrees Celsius outside too). Bathroom and toilet could do with a renovation, but were clean breakfast was simple but sufficient good for an overnight trip if it' not too hot. All in all a good deal if you consider the price

« Could not lock room & floor dirty »

The room door would not lock (from inside or outside) so if we left the room our belongings were not secure. Likewise, at night, anybody could walk into the room while we were sleeping. When we told reception we were told there were no spare rooms to move to, the person that can program the door locks had gone home and if we decided not to stay, we would lose our money. The floor was laminate and needed a good clean - I came out of the shower with clean feet but 1/2 hour later my feet were dirty!

Very bad quality hotel considering the price paid for it. Travelling with small babies In this hotel is a very bad experience. You even have to make your bed with blankets available on the room

« This is not up to Ibis budget standards »

We arrived late. The hotel is very hard to find. There is no signage on the tiny access road. The car park is behind the building through an access gates to an industrial estate which was shut with no explanation that either Ibis car park was there or how to open the gate. When we finally figured it out after walking to the hotel for instructions, we found the ibis car park gate was broken so there was no security for the car overnight. The receptionist was still there and gave us the room 320 and access code on a printed sheet. The code did not work. We went back to reception and rang for receptionist who came back quite quickly, looked resigned (like this was always happening),came up to the room and gave us a cs code to access the room from memory (probably some master code so it probably worked on other rooms too if we had tried - if so the place generally lacks security). The wash basin is in the room and toilet and shower are separate. This is inconvenient and indiscrète- presumably because the hotel has been upgraded from a takeover from some more primitive arrangement like étap. However the toilet stank all the time - it clearly has a sewer gas leak that needs to be fixed urgently. Finally the overhead bunk over the bed is unreasonably low. It made access to the double bed very hard for me and my wife, who is only 5’ 5” bashed her head on it. The following morning we went down to breakfast. The new receptionist totally ignored us. So we went and help ourselves - I have no idea how she knew that we had paid for breakfast we have always given our room number before. She paid no attention to the breakfast supplies. We eventually deduced there were no croissants from other people’s plates and I went and asked the receptionist for some which she then supplied. After breakfast I went back to the receptionist to report the toilet smell before we left. She ignored me while answered a long call then made another then a food delivery arrived and ignoring me she went off with the delivery driver and did not return. I did notice the breakfast food delivery included fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. There were neither available for us. I gave up on the report and we left to find the delivery lorry had parked down the centre of the car park blocking most of the cars. With no sign of the driver or receptionist I resorted to an about 30 point manouevre to ease round the van that was blocking the spare. Oh I have not mentioned that my wife had to walk down the stairs with her bags because the cleaners had taken over the lift and left their trolleys in it whilst they cleared floors of linen. Frankly this is abysmal guys. Simple systems that should work don’t, and there is not a commitment to simple issues of checking, reporting and customer care. It all speaks of lack of effective management. It needs fixing - it is at variance with our normal experience of ibis budget - we do not expect luxury merely that things work!

We had an enjoyable stay and were quite satisfied with the hotel and accommodation and our only criticism is that the hotel, if you do not know the city, is extremely difficult to find! Even our GPS could not find it. Please publish CLEAR & UNDERSTANDABLE maps on your web-site so that guest can find the hotel.

« Very uncomfortable bed »

We slept badly and my husband woke with back pain. On examining the bed closely we discovered a dip in the mattress. As we checked out my husband informed the member of staff on reception that the mattress should probably be replaced as we had found it very uncomfortable and he had an aching back. She made a note but didn't offer any apology.

« Disappointed on many fronts »

We use Ibis Budget about 6 times a year and like them for their simplicity and value for money. This wAs the first time we had stayed at this particular hotel and we will not be returning. The WiFi did not work, there was a very bad smell in the toilet, it was not particularly clean, no air con and unable to open window at night because of outside lights and road noise. Perhaps the worst thing was the bed which was the most uncomfortable we have ever tried to sleep in. Also the car park was barely adequate and the breakfast choice poor.

This was just an overnight stay en-route to Spain. The hotel was difficult to find (hard going for the sat-nav) but when we did arrive the site was typical IBIS Budget i.e Basic but clean. the site was on an industrial estate, but luckily there were eateries on the nearby main road. We did find the pillows a bit on the hard side.
