« Clean and tidy bed for work trip »

There was very limited accommodation near the medical school and so I stayed at this budget Ibis. The rooms are basic and the mattress is not fancy, but things were very clean, the front desk was friendly and the breakfast offered was worth the 6 Euro. Overall a positive experience. My only complaint is that WiFi was very slow.

We have book our room trough the Accor website for a family room (2 adults and 2 kids) and I paid separately for breakfast and when we arrived to the hotel I lost 3 hours on reception because nobody want to be carry on with us.I said can we have breakfast and she said finally after 3 hours we have just for adults and kids doesn’t have.I said to speak to manager and she doesn’t want to give any chance and any breakfast in the morning.I spent lot of money for Room and I’m so disappointed for everything In one words everything disgusting.I want to have my money back and apologies for my all family

We stayed overnight. The hotel was clean, a little dated, but good value for the money. It was relatively close to Versailles by car and allowed us to be early in the morning visiting the Chateau before the bus tours arrived.

« Decent and convenient hotel but service lacking »

The hotel is how you expect from an Ibis budget: little but convenient furniture, clean and quiet. The location was very well suited to our needs: Saint Cyr is ideally at the crossroads between two major highways. We were a bit surprised to see that there was no visible hotel sign from the road when we arrived late Friday evening: the hotel is somehow hidden behind a gas station, so if you don't know where it is, you easily drive by it without noticing it. The unpleasant surprise was we had asked for a baby bed at booking time, and nothing was provided. The reception desk staff looked for one, explained that two were broken, and then made us wait instead of plainly admitting they wouldn't be able to find a solution for the night. Making people wait for nothing at half past midnight is not exactly my definition of service. In the end the staff simply said they would report the issue to the manager who should get back to us, but we didn't get any news the next day despite a 2-night stay. Hence a mixed feeling. It sure was cheap and well located, but the service was awkward.

Hello I am a fan of Ibis hotels and during both my business travels and holidays I search for Ibis hotels nearby. Ibis hotels are always home for me abroad. I want to complain about the horrible experience me and my wife have experienced tonight while traveling with our 11 months baby. We checked in at the reception of Ibis Budget in Saint-Cyr-l'École. The receptionist was unkind from the first moment but check in was OK. When we asked about a baby cot, per our reservation - she gave us the folded baby cot at reception. Then she asked us to carry it and set it up ourselves. We were surprised because only this week we have stayed on two other Ibis hotels and we always had the baby cot set and made upfront in the reserved room. It is obvious that in any other hotel we stayed during this holiday and in any other - that baby cot is always waiting ready in the room and guests are not to be expected to set their own beds. When we asked for help to set it up (because we don't know how to use this kind of folding baby cots) she told us she doesn't know how to do it and there is no one who can help. We asked if she can call anyone - she said no. Simply like that. We asked her to call the manager and ask him for guidance but she said she cannot call the manager. We asked his phone. She refused. She said we get the baby cot for free so we should manage to do it ourselves. She called it a "gift". We insisted to ask her for any help or who can assist us and she said that at 10PM she leaves and her replacement will know how to help. We tried to build the bed for 30 minutes but we couldn't do it, we even asked for another one as we felt it is broken. The second bed was feeling broken too. We left angry for dinner and left the two beds in the room waiting for her replacement to arrive at 10PM and assist us. Around 10:30PM there were strong knocking on our door and when I have opened the door the other guy who didn't identified himself started to shout at me and tell me and my wife how to behave, asked us to return one of the two beds like we are thieves and told us that in Ibis hotels customers always take baby cots from the reception and make their baby cot themselves (which is of course not true). Let me remind you that this happens while our baby is crying tired at 2230PM! We asked him to take the second baby cot but also to assist us with building it. We told him that we will go out for an hour to get our baby to sleep in the stroller and if he can manage to make the bed until we are back. We arrived back to the hotel around 00:30 with our sleeping baby and then the guy at the reception told us that the two baby cots are broken and this is why we cannot use them. I must mention i have verified by phone that this hotel can provide a baby cot for our stay (this hotel doesn't provide email address, usually i verify by mail so i have a record). At the end my wife doesn't want to hear anymore about staying in Ibis hotels anymore and more important than our baby sleeping on a matress on the floor, (which is unsafe and wrong) is the terrible service we received from the two receptionist tonight. We feel we are in an hostile environment. Ibis is not home for me anymore.

Rooms were very basic as I expected for the price. The man at reception was not helpful or friendly at all. Seemed to be more engaged with his mobile phone than to greet or answer questions from guests!!
