I have stated at this hotel quite a few times over the years the only problem I had at one time was a room I was offered (some years back) was not up to standard of this hotel (having been there previously) so they gave me another room and that was okay. I like that the buses are near and the metro a few minutes further, but the walk to the metro has a slight incline and quite a few steps (NO LIFT) so coming back on the metro is okay for the walk, but not THE STEPS from the metro, but to go it's best to get on the bus (81) and then get off (about 3 stops) at Guy Moquet. The Metro is right near the bus stop and also near the stops for the 31 bus the east side stop will take you to near the Gare du Nord and the west side to near Av. des Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe. The rooms that I have stayed in do not have toilets or showers, however, there is a sink with hot and cold water and a tv but you might not find an English channel. For me travelling alone its fine, I have always found this hotel to be a good place to stay however you can't expect the showers not to be used before you enter so it's a good idea to take some beach slippers or something like that and remember a towel, F1 do not supply them anymore but they will sell you one for a few euros and there is a supermarket a short walk away.

No real problem as for temperature, noise or plain comfort. Just minor problems. The TV did not work. Do we now have to make our beds?

« Rooms smelled of smoke and the showers were awful »

We were not able to open the window because it was so noisy outside and smokers were smoking directly under our window. The showers were impossible to use - 2 were freezing cold, one did not produce enough water and one was only producing boiling hot water - no way of adjusting the temperature in any of them. The toilets were constantly wet as the cleaning system wet the floors, seat, walls with toilet water We would not stay again

« The worst hotel I have been to »

I have never been in a place so dirty! Assistances in front office are rude and not polide, security can not control dog patrol. Many times dog barked to me and scared me. They though it was funny because they laughed all time. Room, well, I can say just one it was clear! Just one day of seven I stayed there. I will never come back to accor hotel.

« No Power in the room »

For over 60% of my stay I had no power in two of the three rooms I had booked. I had to visit reception on several occasions to get it turned back on. I had no lights late at night and was having to use my iPhone tourch. This is unacceptable for the amount I have paid for the three room. The reception staff and security were really unhelpful and frankly did not care. On one occasion I had to wait two hours for the power to be turned back on. Your website also failed to inform me the hotel is currently a building site.

« Not suitable for tourists or women alone. »

The room was fair, clean. The hotel is not far from public transports, but the area is dirty and unsafe. I really don't recommend for tourists or females by themselves. The shared shower are not clean, the toilets are TERRIBLE. Also the room keepers knock at your door early in the morning to make your room, despite check out is at 12:00.

« Met my expectations »

Pretty much what I expected. HotelF1 is ideal for people who don't want to spend half the day at a hotel. Room was clean, staff was friendly. My only problem was that the breakfast used plastic spoons, knifes, forks. This is not environmental friendly and the knifes break easily. I know that some people steal etc. but I hope that the hotel will find amore sustainable solution in the future.

This is a well located hotel with clean rooms. Insufficient number of communal toilets so inevitably not clean. Good value but let down by poor service

The rooms were clean but would prefer to have a bathroom in the room. Breakfast items were the same everyday. Change in the menu is recommended. Having microwave available after breakfast hours will be appreciated. The lady at the reception was helpful and nice.

« Could Have Been Better »

I have stayed in Formula 1 for few times around France, the experiences that I had were not bad. The rooms were always clean and the WC and toilet are always okay. But THIS particular F1 is not what I was expected. First of all, the staff was not polite, from the cleaner to the security. The cleaning lady did not say bonjour to me and she even asked me if she should clean my room, and I asked her if she can come like in 5 mins later, she said no. The chair was full of cigarette marks, the room was very noisy (facing the highway in Paris). Toilet and Shower smelled very bad and most of it was broken. There is some reconstruction going on in this hotel, and they started to drill the wall at 8:00 am. I know from what I paid I should not expect much, but please noted that this is not an average standard F1.
