« The situatio with water and toilets »

Everything was fine, apart form one situation. For over 40 hours there was no water-shower-toilet in the whole bulding. We should have been transfered to another hotel, for the period of fixing it. Instead we got nothing and were forced to use toilet on the near gas station. I have rather low standard needs, but still, I think its shocking.

« Could be better »

The hotel itself was the same as described and showed on the pictures. The only reason that made us uncomfortable was the lack of water. Unfortunately, there was a problem and we could not shower on our first night neither on the following day’s morning. Outside of these circumstances our stay was acceptable.

« Nice location, poor WiFi. »

We were well received at the front desk and had a first good impression of the small but modern bedroom. Shower was ok. Floor was dusty, and the cleaning could be better, but our floor was under refurbishment, so it could be the cause of the dust. Breakfast was composed of croissants, French bread, orange juice and a coffee machine with plenty of options. It lacked a fruit, but was worth the price. Employees were good overall, but one guy is worth mentioning: Christian. He was one of the most efficient workers I've seen (and I have stayed in a bunch of hotels). He was also very polite and I think that if he were in charge of the whole thing, our experience would be a lot better. The major downside was the internet connection. You shouldn't advertise that you offer free wifi. The speed was terrible, but we were glad when there was a connection at all.

« very basic and not clean »

For once I expect a price discount when reconstruction works take place, esp. when only one lift can be used at times and the work is on the same floor. Reception was not very helpful and very short.

« Average hotel. »

Good price compared to the remaining hotels in Paris. Close to the metro station and to supermarkets. There were renovations in the lobby when I had my stay. The room is cosy. Shared bathrooms, which is something annoying for me. The door handle of my room was loose and opened difficultly. I told the manager and said that they would repair it but they didn’t (I stayed for four nights). They do not change the linen, they just put new ones over the bed almost daily. There are no towels.

For the given price it was very good experience. Friendly staff, clean room & bed, my private bathroom looked like new! It was quiet and I slept well whole night. I recommend to fix leaking ceiling at the reception asap, it gave awful first impression, although it was much better on other floors.

Decent stay, rooms were ok and so were the wash facilities. However only window looked into the main highway which wasn’t advertised at all and the room was insanely warm. Also renovation works meant there was no breakfast facilities as advertised. On our last night at 1am a fight broke out outside our room and security didn’t do much to stop it so we had little to no sleep before a 10hr coach. Wouldn’t recommend for lone female travelers or children as area is ok but not the best. Not much around it but metro only a short walk away. Still would come back as we got what we paid for really at a good price online.

« Disgusting- worse than 1* »

After staying in several F1 hotels in France, we were expecting a similar standard to what we had previously experienced. We did not mind that the price was more, with it being in Paris, but we were disappointed to find that the car park was extortionate €25 (ish) per 24 hours. With our stay being two nights that would have added another €75 for the three days/ two nights we were meant to be staying. On entering the hotel, the receptionist was rude, and the roof was leaking. There were renovations being done and there was wet paint all over the downstairs lobby and lifts. We went to our floor and found the corridor to resemble a building site. Upon entering the room, our beds weren’t made (as they were in the other F1 hotels) and the room smelt of urine. We opened a window to let the stench out but looked down and saw copious amounts of dirty nappies strewn under the window and on the ISO containers outside. (Which we assume previous guests had thrown out) I went to use the facilities and found that all over each of the three toilets there was urine all over the seats. Disgusting. Overall it was thoroughly disappointing and unhygienic, we ended up leaving with our 6 month old baby as it seemed too dirty to stay. With it being a 1* we weren’t expecting a whole lot, but at least the same standard of cleanliness that the other F1 hotels provided. Would not recommend.

« Expensive considering the quality »

The room itself was fine, but the bed and pillow were terribly uncomfortable, made worse by what I assume was a plastic coverin in the bed to prevent stains. This probably would have been fine, had we had the ability to adjust the temperature in our room to a cooler one. However, the only option available to this aim was to open our window, which was right along an extremely busy road. So, our choices were to either not sleep because it was too hot or not sleep because it was too noisy. Our room wasn’t cheap, and though we weren’t expecting much, this was even worse than we imagined. Also, there was building work happening every morning, which made any bit of sleep we did manage to get even shorter by being abruptly awakened by drilling and banging noises.

I have stated at this hotel quite a few times over the years the only problem I had at one time was a room I was offered (some years back) was not up to standard of this hotel (having been there previously) so they gave me another room and that was okay. I like that the buses are near and the metro a few minutes further, but the walk to the metro has a slight incline and quite a few steps (NO LIFT) so coming back on the metro is okay for the walk, but not THE STEPS from the metro, but to go it's best to get on the bus (81) and then get off (about 3 stops) at Guy Moquet. The Metro is right near the bus stop and also near the stops for the 31 bus the east side stop will take you to near the Gare du Nord and the west side to near Av. des Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe. The rooms that I have stayed in do not have toilets or showers, however, there is a sink with hot and cold water and a tv but you might not find an English channel. For me travelling alone its fine, I have always found this hotel to be a good place to stay however you can't expect the showers not to be used before you enter so it's a good idea to take some beach slippers or something like that and remember a towel, F1 do not supply them anymore but they will sell you one for a few euros and there is a supermarket a short walk away.

« Rooms smelled of smoke and the showers were awful »

We were not able to open the window because it was so noisy outside and smokers were smoking directly under our window. The showers were impossible to use - 2 were freezing cold, one did not produce enough water and one was only producing boiling hot water - no way of adjusting the temperature in any of them. The toilets were constantly wet as the cleaning system wet the floors, seat, walls with toilet water We would not stay again

« The worst hotel I have been to »

I have never been in a place so dirty! Assistances in front office are rude and not polide, security can not control dog patrol. Many times dog barked to me and scared me. They though it was funny because they laughed all time. Room, well, I can say just one it was clear! Just one day of seven I stayed there. I will never come back to accor hotel.
