This place is pure filth. The hotel, the toilets, the room, the breakfast were all filthy and disgusting. We couldn't sleep, so we even we ended up leaving early. I'll never stay at another one. I'll tell people to avoid it. I wish I had booked at the B&B Hotel. Now I know better.

It was an overnight stop. I checked in manually as my room details had not arrived on my phone even though I had registered online. The room was comfortable and I had a good nights rest. So I left in the morning fully refreshed.

Clean and simple room. Friendly staff. Less diversified but cheap breakfast (shortcomings in taste of marmalade, orange juice). No own toilet in the room was the most negative point. But I see that therefore the room is cheap. The toilet could be cleaner, should be cleaned more frequently (automatic cleaning of the toilet seat).

We have always used Formule1 because it was nice and quiet. However, lately we have become concerned because a lot of “working men” use the hotel. Last night 10 or more rooms were occupied by working colleagues who shout from their rooms across the garden to colleagues in other rooms. They run up and down the hallways to visit each other. They smoke in the rooms with the windows open so neighbours can smell the smoke.

We were looking for somewhere clean and safe for a one night stop while driving through. The room was clean, although small which we were expecting. The place is, however, quite run down and seems to be occupied by significant numbers of smokers, despite the non-smoking. The area doesn’t feel as safe as we’d hoped. Staff were great, getting our heater fixed quickly

Usually when we have previously turned up after booking the check in is efficient. This took longer this time as the receptionist couldn't find our booking despite me showing her our confirmation. We always have our friendly dog with us and was surprised that the charge for the dog was 5 euros extra, whereas Premierre Classe only charged me 3 euros. I felt that Formule 1 has become less of a budget hotel now despite having no en suite facilities. Not sure I will use them again.

The hotel was very tired and in desperate need of a refurb and a very deep clean. The room smelled dirty and we changed to another which was a little better. The breakfast was a waste of money - no room to sit and only bread, jam, poor coffee and unpleasant orange juice.
