Have stayed at the Blois Nord F1 on a number of occasions and it is the ideal mid way stop off on our drive down to the Correze.

We went for a marriage had reserved for one night. The car broke down. So we had to stay longer. The staff managed it so well that we could keep our original rooms and helped us in getting in touch with our insurer and its representative in France

Simple check in (I used the machine out front). The room was ready to go so there was no wait. Everything was clean and considering I was in room 101 right by the reception, It was surprisingly quiet.

As expected

Very good. I've never stayed in F1 Before, it was clean and easy to check in etc. There could perhaps be a little more choice available for the buffet breakfast. Shared facilities were clean.

Efficient clean and good value for money

Very basic stay for low cost, everything about the F1 is basic, and cheep. It is great for a low budget stay, close to fast food outlets for convenience. We used it as a central stay to see places around so only slept in the room. The shared facilities are generally available when required, the shower is a push button to save water but does make washing hair a pain. I would not recommend it unless you want to save money.

Staff was friendly, but the room was noisy. Some people came to the hotel around 1am and were not mindful of others. They were quite noisy in the corridor, which ruined the night.

Rooms were cheap but cheap price reflected in poor quality of furnishings, rooms smelling of smoke, no air conditioning, no toilet or shower in room, no connecting door for rooms, poor selection for breakfast.

We made the mistake of paying for the room before seeing it. When we went in there was an overpowering smell of air freshener. My wife has recently recovered from a severe chest infection and is an asthmatic and was feeling ill from the fumes. She stayed outside while I opened the window and door and tried to ventilate the room. The concierge also changed the duvet which had the odour of air freshener for a fresh one but after two hours it was still impossible for my wife to stay. We left without using the room and found suitable accommodation elsewhere. I will be asking for a refund.
