« Very comfortable place to get a few hours' sleep on a long drive »

Very good. Facilities were clean. Only annoyance was some guests in an adjoining room arriving at 0030 and having no comprehension that others might be asleep and making lots of noise. Not really the hotel's fault though.

« Very noisy, got very little sleep and disappointing breakfast »

Our room was close to the corridor doors and toilets. The doors were incredibly noisy when used and the fact people were going to the toilet throughout the night meant it kept waking us. We got virtually no sleep. We’ve stayed at Ibis Budgets and were expecting the breakfast to be similar, which is why we paid the extra. However, it was very very basic with very few options. It was either toast or cereals.

The staying was ok but the service was very bad. The receptionist of the F1 was already gone home at our arrival at 18:30hr. Here collegue at the IBIS didn't speak good English. I also made complaint: see Dossier N°: WSFOLD20…36037

I would not stay here again. The pillows and sheets smelt of smoke. The communal toilet was very dirty. We didn't even try the showers as there were no towels and we just wanted to get out of there! The baby bed was covered in brown stains. All very unpleasant!

« hotel needs extensive refurbishment »

Staff friendly, room and bed clean, bed comfortable. But the hotel is looking worn out, plastic surfaces are worn and paint work on shower and toilet doors is breaking up - red showing through the white. Walls of room had a few grubby marks, Light switch by bed only worked intermittently. Light under tv would not work at all. Staircase and carpet grubby. We last stayed in an F1 about 12 years ago, and this one looked as if it has not been upgraded since long before then. Needs a complete refurbishment.

Only a few minutes from the motorway. Ideal location for an overnight stop Means we can get a great meal from ibis next door, have a great sleep before heading up to Calais and that nightmare drive to sunny Lancashire. Very clean and an absolute bargain at £23 for the two of us. Will be booking again next year
