the hotel is dirty the shower is scalding no cold water the fire alarm was going off but staff was told the engineer will deal with it tomorrow....

Car parking & bed linen was satisfactory. However, provide towels , even if for a fee, like the B&B do.

Dirty hallways, entrance, toilets and showers, and oh none smoker rooms are allowed to be used by smokers also. So only smokers have a small advantage as the chance for them not getting a room is slim. And to top it off very noisy.

We were very pleased to have air conditioning. But sad that now no towel is provided and that the shower and toilets were not clean.

The room was completely dirty, with stains and dirt everywhere: walls, sheets etc. Completely don,t enjoy.

I wouldn't return to staying here. The receptionist was lovely, and that is the only reason I have scored higher than a 1. The facilities are very basic, the clientele are noisy and it was after 3am before I managed to get any sleep. The air conditioning was poor, with no instructions explaining how it worked. The breakfast area is badly designed and I actually cut my head open on the overhead part where the roller shutter comes down. There are no warnings to mind your head and I cannot be the first person that has had this issue? I like Accor hotels and use the facilities here in York and beyond (Novotel), many times I have have pleasant experiences within the group. I realise that everywhere has a pricing point, I am just baffled why anyone would stay here, other than if they were desperate (no rooms elsewhere), or they were unable to find good deals. We stayed in the Holiday Inn in Lyon for the same price and this was a far superior experience. I will never stay in an F1 again, unless I happen to be desperate.

It was convenient. The room was clean but needed some painting and there were holes in the blanket. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. Some shared bathrooms werenot working correctly. The shower was spacious but needed a better ventilation, it has a strong smell of humidity. People in reception were gentle and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, it was great to have the opportunity to book it. I woukd suggest to add selling machines for any type of complements you might need, such as soap, slippers, etc. In general it was a very good stay.
