Friendly staff. Overall cleanliness good. Paintwork peeling. Panelling in shower and toilet cubicles detaching from base surface. Carpets stained and curling at the edges. Fascinated by the chipboard bed frame, not finished in any way. TV not working. Guests in adjacent rooms were smoking out of the windows and the smoke blowing through my window. Cleared a cockroach out of my room...

The worst budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I’ve stayed in many Accor hotels and F1s This hotel desperately needs gutting and completely refitting. Just horrible!

Using The code for bedroom entrance - mechanism wasn’t working properly and took several attempts to get in. Showers, toilets and generally everything looked jaded and in poor condition.

Great pre check-in helped late arrival. No fuss. Having used f1 many times was disappointed to find no towel or soap. Makes having a sink pointless. Room smelt very badly of smoke which was understandable given the amount of cigarette butts on floor outside the window. This is the worst room i have experienced at f1 over the last 12 years. This is a shame because the budgetness fits in with our late arrival, early leave visits.

Friendly and helpful staff, but this F1 is certainly showing it's age. The carpet floor was stained to such a degree, I was fearful of going barefoot, and shower light turned off whilst I was showering, plunging me into darkness; the only way of turning it on, was to unlock door & keep it open, slightly ajar... A move requiring some gymnastics!

The stay was with out any major problems, but both rooms and especially the bathrooms need refurbishment. The Bathrooms are stained and falling apart.

We stayed on night enroute to South of France. Did what we expected, provided a bed to sleep. Don't expect thrills, it is a budget hotel more like a hostel with private rooms. Showers and toilets are in the hallway but we're sufficient and clean. Staff were very helpful and check in was easy. Breakfast was cheap but pretty basic with bread, jam, yoghurt and some cereals on offer coffee and tea were also part of the price. Only gripe would be the carpets in the hallways could do with a clean or get a darker colour.

My husband, 3 children and I shared two rooms. Our rooms were clean but the rooms were VERY hot so I tried to open the safety bar on the window in my room (229) to allow some air in. The window was stuck and could not be closed enough to open the safety bar. The room was too hot for us to comfortably go to sleep so I tried again to open the window. After several minutes and some effort, I eventually managed to force the window closed, remove the bar and re-open the window. If we had needed to use the window as a fire escape, it would have been extremely dangerous. On visiting the toilet, there was faeces all over the floor of one of the two nearby toilets. As a result, we often had to go down to the lower floor to find a vacant toilet. All toilets (and the shower) I used were stained and grubby. As we arrived after 9pm, there were no staff available to report this issue to. On previous visits to F1, breakfast has been tasty and plentiful so we paid for breakfast in advance for the 4 adults in our party. We went for breakfast at 8.45am and were thoroughly disappointed to find that there was not enough baguette or apple pots for us. I asked the lady on reception for more bread but she said "there is no more". Based on this experience of an F1 hotel, I would not recommend them nor would I choose to stay at an F1 hotel again.

Unable to enter hotel with code given then found our room occupied by others

Entry code would not work to enter hotel. Other guests had same problem then a different guest finally let us in. Went to allocated room and opened door to find it was occupied. Entire hotel was in poor state of repair with sagging floors filthy stained carpets. Web booking wouldn’t allow me to book for more than one breakfast. My last ever stay in a F1!

We arrived to the F1 Dole not expecting much as this is a budget hotel but this was the worst experience ever and we travel a lot in so called developing countries: firts of all the smell from the toilets and in the room was horrible. The carpet in the corridors had broken glass on it apparently not new. The carpet in our room (117) had a big dark patch that smelled like... guess... something you should only find in toilets... Then the noise, we could here every single word from the other rooms and corridors hard to find sleep even with hear plugs. Finally we had book breakfast supposed to start at 7.00. Around 15’, the receptionist arrived and started preparing when asked by a lady when would the breakfast would be ready he just answer « hey it’s 7.00, let me time to arrive »... we were with 2 children and based in the website we had only booked for the adults - that guy told me they had to pay full fare and i had to pay « now » with a look as if we were trying to steal his money... on top of this this person had an hygene and a smell that fitted very well with the rest of the environment... In a nutshell, run... don’t even consider this place, they should pay you to stay there, not the opposite...
