« satisfactory except for the heating. »

The stay was a good experience quality-price wise.

« Not great »

There was a smell of the cigarette smoke in the room and in the corridor which was unpleasant. The location of bathroom and wc outside of rooms is a huge inconvenience

« Horrible! »

The room was not cleaned before my second arrival. First arrival was 13.30. The cleaning woman did not remove the extra child bed from the former guests, I had to do that myself. The cleaning lady was rude my second day, and told me in a not polite way that I hadn’t paid for my stay. We went to the desk and I spoke to the women there. I explained that I did the booking true the official F1 website and paid directly. I guess it’s impossible to get the access code from the machine without paying, so they should have been little more humble to their guests. Horrible location of the hotel. Horrible showers and not nice toilets. Needs renovation. I’ve tested a lot of different F1 before, but this is by far the worst in my experience.

« Smelly »

Upon arrival there were alot of people hanging around outside. The hotel smelt. The fire exit was open all night. It looked like families were permanently living in the hotel. Felt unsafe.

« It was so bad, we didn't stay. We looked in the room and immediately left. »

Truly appalling. It was basically a holding camp for refugees. The rooms we're absolutely filthy - including the bedding. Photo's we're taken to show just how bad it was. Truly awful. I will be seeking a full refund.

« Stay away! »

Hotel in run down area, didn't feel safe in the slightest. People living here, it's more of a half way house than hotel. Rooms smelt terrible and my daughter was bitten multiple times by something in the bed. Didn't stay as didn't feel safe so b9ked elsewhere.

« Not the F1 experience we were expecting »

We had previously stayed in an F1 hotel in Reims and had found it basic but clean and in an area from which you could walk to a local restaurant. This F1 was in an isolated location, the toilet was not that clean and there were stains on the walls of our room. I know it is a cheap option but a lick of paint and some other small touches would improve it greatly.

Most dirty place I have ever sleeped.

« Easily the worst hotel I've ever been to. »

The hotel room was dirty but the showers and WC were disgustingly filthy. It was very noisy with people banging on my door in the early hours. I didnt feel my car was safe in the car park with people aimlessly peering into it.

« Not good »

Pretty awful. The place is falling to bits and needs repaired. 1/2 the toilets lights went out when you sat down. need repaired. Everything looked dirty though was actually clean, like the stains everywhere, toilet, duvet etc

« Not what it used to be... »

I had not stayed in a F1 hotel in a while, I had switched to other chains with bathrooms in the room, however due to a late decision and low availability, I booked again at F1 hotel as I used to be satisfied. It was a disappointment. The hotels have aged very badly, the bedding was more than basic, I understand that it is an economic choice but too cheap is also bad. Compared to other chains, the value for money was very bad and I will think twice before booking a F1 hotel again in the future.

« Literally the worst and most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at »

The communal toilets look as though they're cleaned on a less than daily basis. There are no toilet seats on any of the toilets. The reception area, and much of the rest of the hotel, reeks of urine, not to mention anything of the stench in out room. It also felt as though many of the other "guests" were rather low income/poverty stricken residents who were living there long-term. The location of the hotel is also in a dreary semi-abandoned industrial area. There is also only someone at reception for 4 hours for check in, from 5pm-9pm, so when we arrived at 3pm we had to wait around for 2 hours before we could get our room. Make sure you don't arrive later than 9pm.

« Bathrooms, toilets and bed very dirty and room smelling of smoke. »

Although we did not have any choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms while booking, the rooms were smoked in (heavingly). My bed sheets smelled extremely. Toilets where either out of order or very dirty. Same for the bathrooms. Never again will I be staying in a hotelF1 accommodation. Was not worth the little under € 20 per person we paid for this stay.

« Very rude female receptionist »

Will not attend again. Felt very let down as we have used F1 for many years.

« messier than other F1 hotels, fence didn't open so had to leave car outside »

F1 hotels are never that great but they're cheap so not much can be expected. However this hotel is older than others, less clean and the building is outdated. Upon arrival the gate didn't open with the code so we had to leave our car outside the premises in a somewhat shady parking. Additional annoyance was that with all the bathrooms and toilets tried the lights would switch of when the door was closed, quite inconvenient.

« Noisy hotel, wet sheets and pillow cases, smoking room!! Helpful reception man. »

This hotel was not the best example of an F1 hotel. It was a little noisy and dirty and we were allocated smoking rooms as we didn't specify non-smoking but we were not offered a choice at booking and didn't imagine there would be smoking rooms. The hotel reception man was very helpful and replaced the wet bedding and did re- allocate one of our rooms to non-smoking. the town of Metz was nearby for food in the evening which was nice.
