Having stayed many times previous it was good to see a thorough remodel/decoration had taken place. Some good food outlets within easy walking distance. The removal of the coffee vending machine was a slight disappointment. Breakfast though basic was excellent value and a great way to start the day

« Booked 3 rooms; did not get them. »

Booked and paid for by phone through Accor Hotels; 3 rooms for 9 people on the 3rd Jan 2018. Arrived to be told we did not have 3 rooms; only 2 ; one for 6 persons and 1 for 3 persons. This was not suitable for our party, but told NO OPTION as hotel full. This was a complete surprise to us as your web page still features a Trio room. If the hotel was revamped then we should have been contacted to allow us to decide on other options available. (I did not want to share with my Daughter in law) This was a very bad experience for all of us, in complete contrast to the way we were treated in Coquelles.

« Computer failure in a part built hotel »

Despite checking in online 24 prior to arriving, the receptionist seemed totally surprised that we needed two rooms. It was explained to me that due to a computer error they could not verify my booking. But when the receptionist contacted their superiors by phone, it seemed that my booking reference did not register on their system either. I had all the relevant confirmation emails and receipts, yet he then proceeded to point at the credit card reader and expected me to pay an additional €40, even though my paperwork clearly showed that I had nothing more to pay. My family and I had to stand in the reception area, with exposed wires hanging out of the wall, for over 40 minutes while he talked on the phone, before finally issuing me with my room details. The rooms were very difficult to find, as the crudely printed direction signage did not even list the two rooms that were looking for. Eventually, after searching various corridors in this partly built hotel, we found our rooms. Where we then had to make our own beds, as neither of the rooms were prepared for guests. The only reason I did not score this hotel 1 out of 10, was because the breakfast was acceptable, and exactly as advertised. I have been using F1 hotels for many years now, and I am quite aware of what sort of service they provide. I have never felt it necessary to complain about them in the past. But these events ruined what would have been a lovely weekend in Paris. I very much doubt we will be using F1 again after this disappointing experience.

Dirty, noisy - people having a loud converstaion at 04.30 am in the morning Dirty rooms, dirty showers, dirty toilets. Breakfast is a joke! Coffee and bread - like prison Its cheap but I would rather pay €20 more for somewhere that is clean and quiet

I spent a less comfortable stay: -The room smelled of cigarettes. I am asmatic and I suffered when breathing. - The sheets bore marks of cigarette burning. - On the first day of my arrival, I took my shower without light. It's very stressful. - Also, the blankets were covered with hair.

I really the hotel amenities and pricing package ..if you are on a budget , that's a very good value for the price and it will allow to stay in longer in France if you would like to ...also, it's not fare from the airport and there are plenty of restaurants around the place ... The only con is that they could have better with the bathrooms and toilets ... other than that, it's a great place to stay while on a budget travel to France ...

The room itself was fine, the bed is good, although it smelled like cigarette. Besides, the room is not sound isolated at all and we could hear all the other guests on the same floor. The shower was is a bad shape (no shower head, scratch on the wall, ...) and there was no hot water. The staff was nice with us. I know the price we for this kind of hotel and what I can expect for this, but at least warm water in the shower should not be too much to ask.

Our last stay with F1 was many years ago and when booking for a room for the night after a concert to catch a few hours sleep before catching our train we thought it would be perfect. We had no idea we would be stepping back 50 years to my first French hotel experience of dirty shared bathrooms and toilets. No toilet paper, dirty cuvette de toilet, no water or soap to wash our hands in the toilet and the smell was awful. Sharing facilities is not such a problem if you keep them clean all night. The bed was ok, clean sheets- but not underneath which you could see through the sheet. The hotel is no smoking but the clean linen has been stored where people do smoke so when you lay your head on the pillow you can smell stale cigarette smoke. The room was clean and the basin worked and I could charge my phone. We were 2 mins from the motorway. You serve a clientele with different expectations but even at €8/hr for our stay it was too much. We had our toiletries but it would have helped if we had been offered to buy towels at the desk when we checked in. Adieu pour toujours.

Its was good. Could have better if one have kettle or microwave in one room! One gentlemen at reception was exceptionally good at helping us finding our way. Advise for first time client visiting your hotel, once reservation is made you should send us how to find you which transport to get and how much. In general how to reach your hotel either by day or by night! Best regards Fulgere

We had breakfast which was nice and for the value for money was excellent. The room was good and friendly staff. The only thing was that we was near the showers and toilets so was a little noise during the night. But over all good value for money.

« Did what it said on the tin »

From arrival to checkout a hassle free experience. Though begining to look a bit tired the hotel was clean, tidy and quiet after 10pm. Breakfast (french baguette, butter and jam) was a simple joy and a great relief now they seem to have dropped the english plastic baguette I experienced a couple of years ago.
