ok, no problems. Hotel generally kinda smelly in lobbyhallways (sigarette smoke) and washroomsshowers not very nice (super plasticky) or clean (nasty edgescorners) although cleaning seemed regular.

« I like and regularly use F1 but Boulogne was a bit frayed around the edges! »

My room was clean, well kept, and I had a good night's sleep. However the Boulogne F1 definitely shows signs of wear and tear. Outside the building is well stained. The public services, Lavatories and Showers, were as clean as well old used fittings can be, but were pretty unappealing. The ground floor lavatories were unusable when I was checking in as they had not been flushed and were revolting. Checking in was difficult as the computer was down and it took over 20 minutes to confirm my reservation, get a room and pin number. Staff were helpful but had to wait for the system to be fixed. On short shopping trips I usually stay in Calais-Coquelles F1 but tried a different one this time. The price was most competative but I shall go back to Calais next time.

Unfortunately this was a bad experience for us of f1 hotels. It stunk or urine,the toilets were filthy and I actually felt I had to keep my sandals on in the shower. We were put in a smoking room which we didnt want but no one asked. The sink in our room had brown/black stains in. Our radiator was hanging off the wall.

Everything was as expected, staff were helpful, and we find it perfect for a stop over, in this particular case it's location is perfect for us, we have used it before and will use it again. The only part we were disappointed with was the lack of a towel, which comes as an extra.

we usually stay with F1 boulogne sur mer, and it is usually ok, this time the mattress was not good it seems tohave failed, we ended up using the mattress from the top bunk

The check in experience, accommodation and the staff were all great but our experience was only satisfactory as our room heavily smelled of smoke. None of my group smoke and I was not able to eradicate the smell from airing the room. The smell was very strong and the smell continued to linger until the next day and most of our luggage and clothes smelled of smoke on leaving. I have stayed in F1 hotels before and not had this problem. Whilst I appreciate that some people require a smoking room, it would be good to have that choice when booking. Therefore whilst all other aspects of our stay were as expected and fine this experience was not pleasant.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. The entire hotel was full of cigarette smoke. The no smoking rule was not enforced making our experience very unsatisfying.

« Everything ws as we had hoped for. »

We found the majority of the facilities clean & in good working order. The rooms were clean. The car park could not cater for all the vehicles but there was plenty of space in the adjoining industrial estate. The only downside was the difficulty finding the hotel from the city centre: fortunately we've been there before & remembered the Auchan from many years ago.
