« by public transport it takes more then 1h »

I chose this hotel because was only 3 km from geneve airport, I call to ask if there was public transport they sad yes BUT from Monday to Friday there is bus only every hour and on Sunday there isn't bus and the taxi it cost 30euros. I arrive on Saturday n left on Sunday, very lucky the receptionist's sister was going to airport so she gave me a ride. Not very clean. Expensive for what it is. Wouldn't never stay there again

« Definitely not a business stay hotel »

I had booked this as there were no other hotels in the area. But when checking in and finding out there were communal toilets and showers, this was enough for me not to want to stay there. In the end, I walked down the road (about 2 minutes) to another hotel and they had a room available. HotelF1 is a great place to stay if you're on the road but not for business trips.

« Just one night »

Glad this was just one night. Had an early flight out of GVA so booked F1. Room was marginally clean, a few holes in the wall, towel rack falling off wall, window shade broken (room 133). Not up to my Standards even for a 1*. No towels in room and was told had to purchase If we wanted towels. Overall, would stay again but expectations extremely low.

« Dirty Toilets and Power Failure During Night »

I did not enjoy this stay for these reasons. I was in Room 109 and I had no power from about 3am. As I had an early flight I had to wash, shave, dress and pack in the dark. I did report this to the desk as I was leaving and the receptionist confirmed that nothing was working on Room 109. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to press a claim for my money back as I needed to return a hire car and get a very early flight. I thought the toilets on the ground floor were in a disgusting state. This is the first time I have encountered such poor toilet facilities in a Hotel F1.

Room was clean, NO towels, new policy? Communal toilets & showers. Hotel obviously used by workmen. Lots of comings & goings during the night. Breakfast was acceptable. Close to the airport if that is a requirement

One issue was the coffee at breakfast. If I was blindfolded I would not have said it was coffee. Horrible. The cafe au lait option.

Very noisy 1st night so no sleep, fine next night. Room was clean. Hotel was a long way from airport. Staff were helpful and polite.

I was satisfied with the accommodation. I'm not sure if I overlooked (missed) some information during booking, but I was surprised that the towels were not included in the final price and that the bathroom and restroom are common. It wasn't problem because rest- and bathroom were clean and the thing with towels was purchase, not renting, but these information could be better pointed out in advance

The room had a strong cigarette smell. No towels are offered, you have to buy them. Toilets were very smelly and both genders use the same room what my wife and daughters disliked, shower was OK. The rooms itself was OK, but during the hot months you have to leave the window open and then all sounds and smoke from people in front of the hotel come in. Breakfast is good, parking as well. We were caught by surprise that there wasn't a bathroom in the room since F1 hotels in Brazil had one. And last but not least, in the Geneve area, the Premier Class hotels are a better option, with bathrooms.

« suitable for a short stay »

I didn't really expected too much, after all, I got what I paid for. Anyway, I think the room was pretty hot and didn't feel safe by opening the window to make me feel comfortable, because it was an one store building, whose window is located at the street level, somehow easily accessible by anyone, despite the security lash. I also noticed the sink was somewhat dirty and seemed worn out. At least the bed was comfy and the shared facilites such as toilette and shower were clean enough. Other than that, my stay was ok. Bear in mind, there's no staff 24 Hours in the reception and I had to use the phone to make clear I was standing and waiting to check-in, however, this was not an issue and only to let people know in advance. One last thing: forget it, if you take a bus from Geneva Airport to get there. You will have to walk approximately 2,3 km on the road to get there and there's no walkway, making this a little bit dangerous and inconvenient , whether you carry on large bags..

I spent a night in F1 hotel south of France about 20 year ago and remembering that reasonable experience I booked without investigate the F1 close to Geneve (CH) Airport. That was my biggest mistake. The F1 Geneve Airport is extremely bad, the very small room (and that's ok considering the price) without AC was like a sauna, the guests range from pronstitutes to family with all nite long crying infant (that's normal as infant doesn't like a sauna). The building really needs a complete renovation and I was so sorry with my two kids to be such a bad dad forcing them to sleep in that hotel. This is my last experience in an F1 hotel and I think that it is not acceptable to have that kind of hotel in a location close to the border line between CH and F.

I had booked a couple of nights with HotelF1 starting on the 25th/July. I'm moving temporarily to Geneva and had a few apartments scheduled to visit so I thought I could stay for a couple of nights with HotelF1 before finding a long term accommodation. I booked through the accor website which I have used for many years to book hotels of all categories across many destinations. Before moving to the HotelF1 I spent 2 nights at the Ibis Budget Petit-Lancy. I understand the standard of the hotels may vary but overall the guest is right to expect a minimum standard that the Accor brand should hold to. I expected a simple yet clean and safe accommodation at the HotelF1, but once I arrived I was very surprised. The building was surrounded by a few groups of people cooking from fire made on the ground, others using camping stoves, some people clearly drunk and loud, all inside the hotel's premises. After I checked in I found a poorly maintained building with cracks on every wall, strong smell and really poor hygiene on the toilets and showers and non functioning wifi. I tried speaking to the front desk but the staff had left for the day and communicated me by phone that any requests or complaints to be addressed on the next day. Given the conditions of the property and the chaotic environment which sharply contrasted my idea of accommodation for a good night of rest, I decided to re-locate to the Novotel close by and vacated the property just one hour after my arrival. I have registered the described above by pictures. My reservation details are: Reservation number: FNFDDMDP Reservation made by: Mr. s. M. Next arrival date: 2017-07-25 I kindly request that the value of this reservation be refunded and that some measure is taken to avoid other guests to have the same unpleasant experience.
