We arrived at the hotel and were met by an empty reception desk, and untidy area. So, following the instruction on the sticker, used the phone to contact ‘somebody’. There was no contact and we waited at least 10-15 minutes before two people turned up. I explained that I had been calling but got no answer. Apologies for not speaking French, but the lady who booked us in didnt grasp this and continued to converse in French. Not her fault, not our fault. Ce la vie. So, the room and facilities - the room could do with a some attention in the decoration department. Walls were dirty. There was also poor cleanliness in toilets, with no working hand washing. But like I say, you get what you pay for, and we were only there for a night!

Clearly hotel owners have given up here. This is a bit less than a motel, really and my standards are not high... Anyone could have walked in at any time, hotel comments with criticism in the reviews section get the same 'sincere' copy-paste apologies. Although the place is relatively close to the much nicer Oullins (Gare d'Oullins TER trains and metro station) neighbourhood and is not badly located at all vis-a-vis the city of Lyon itself and/or it's Confluence area, this motel is definitely no place for children. Staying there you just have the feeling that everything is questionnable, including bed linnen, formica-ish room linings and most definitely shower and toilet hygiene (please don't blame cleaning staff, this is clearly not there fault, as the Accor Hotel group has given this place up, so what can be expected of them as they probably are squeezed already?). However, if you're on the go and need a place to stay last minute this place could do for comparable to hostel stay prices.

Waited ages for reception who ignored phone, intercom and calling out. No towels or drinking cups in room which I had expected. One bed smelled of sick. Convenient location and price were the positives

Flooded bathrooms and dirty showers

good for a cheap overnight stop but parking a little difficult before check-in

Easy location just off motorway and perfect for an overnight stop. Difficult to park car on road until checked in and getting code for entering carpark. Surprised how quiet the hotel was considering the number of people staying there. I have stayed in some very noisy F1 hotel before. Hotel smells of cleaning fluids but at least everything appears to be clean. Hotel staff friendly and easy going despite language problems (I don't speak French). Convenient location for supermarkets and petrol.

Accor management, please inspect this hotel as mistery customer and see by yourself the harm that the hotel (or the chain; this was my first and last stay at a F1 hotel) is doing to your brand. This is by far the worse hotel I have been in the Western world.

W have stayed in F1 before. This one felt more down beat than the others. Rooms felt tired andin need of attention both in terms of decoration and general cleanliness. Beds were fine. We would probably think twice about using F1 again after thus one.

The stay was ok , but I think you should have rooms that are joined together for families, every time I stay with you I have to be separated from my family in 2 different rooms, which I think is not right.

Friendly staff, but beds and pillows can be better. However, looking at the price you can not ask and expect more. Good place for a stop over on our way to Spain.
