The signage on the hotel was not lit and as it was dark when I arrived I drove right past it at first. The receptionist was pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean. The bed sheets were clean. I would prefer a toilet in the room but I knew that was not an option. Overall I was very satisfied.

Check-in was painless, the person at the desk was to the point and gave out the information needed. I arrived late so it was nice to just get in my room. Internet has no password, shower and toilets are at the end of each corridor. The room was clean and had a small sink for washing your teeth for example. There's no AC but the window opens. It has blinds. Nothing fancy but this is probably the cheapest airport hotel around Beauvais. Towels are not provided so if you don't bring your own you can buy (not rent) one for 3euros. The night was uneventful as I wore ear plugs and the breakfast was well, not what I like to start the day with but it can fill you up before you start the day. Baguette and sliced bread, jam, honey, butter, 2 kinds or cereals, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice. The person at the reception in the morning was also very nice. To get to the hotel by public transport you can take the airport shuttle bus "NA". It will go to Beauvais center before heading back out to the industrial area where the hotels are (30-40min trip). In the morning you take the bus from the same bus stop and it only takes 10min to get to the airport. If you need to go to the train station you take the number 3 bus from the same bus stop. It's very easy to commute. What's not easy is to find the hotel entrance when you arrive at dark. When you get out of the bus you can see the hotel in front of you but the entrance is actually on the left 100m or so around the car park. Thankfully a staff member saw us and pointed to the right direction. Same entrance as the Hotel Mercure. Good value for what you get.

Dear manager, I've been wanting to contact you. Having arrived from a long day travelling - two airplanes and a long layover - we rented a car in Paris as we had to attend a function in Normandy the next day. We arrived in beauvais and thought it'd be a nice place to rest for the night. As a young child I'd stayed in formula 1 hotels with my parents and thought it would be convenient. We quickly booked online and head for the hotel. A strong smell of food greated us, we later figured this was coming from a Tupperware someone left in the microwave right at the entrance (I will shortly explain why this is relevant). I called on the phone that was laying on the reception desk for the receptionist to come. I believe he was cleaning something as he was wearing gloves and holding products, which he didn't remove during the check in process (just hoping he wasn't cleaning toilets). He was very friendly, very efficient and was kind enough to talk us through some nearby dinner options. Apart from the hygiene thing (the gloves), he's a real credit to your establishment. We received our door code and went out again to buy some take away. We didn't check the room at this point. Upon our return we took out bags and takeaway and headed for the room. Upon passing reception a repugnant smell hit us. We are still quite not sure what it was, but it definitely included hints of mould and cigarettes. At the reception this smell must have been masked by the microwave food, as if we'd smelled this before, we would never have completed our check in. We finally arrived to our room, halfway through the corridor, and entered it. The place is incredibly run down. Stains everywhere, old bedding that's barely holding it together, a large window that gives onto another establishment's kitchen... this window was situated on the ground floor, you could literally walk out of it into the 'garden'. Which also means that people could just as easily walk into our room from outside. As the temperatures were very hot that day and no a/c we would have had to leave the window open during the night and it made us feel very unsafe. Next I realised there was no bathroom in the room - which explained why people were walking around half naked in the corridor, they were on their way to the showers. Considering the aspect and smell of the hallway, I did not even want to imagine the bathroom facilities. My partner and I glanced briefly at each other, picked up our bags again and left. This hotel is not worthy of its name and the relative quality it was known for when I was younger. Personally, I would contact hygiene inspection services as it is really below par. When arriving at the hotel on 10/06 in the evening, I learnt by the receptionist that I had booked for a night for the 08/06, and not for the 10/06. Fortunately some room was available on the 10/06. That was my mistake, so no one is to be blamed for it, but I was a bit diappointed to have spent 34 euros more than expected.

Waited 10-15 mins at gate at 3AM and under the rain because nobody was answerING at gate, tried the mercure and got a very rude man who refused to open and asked me to keep ringing until they answer. He was just plain rude and the woman at reception did not seem bothered and kept saying that where she was, she did not have signal! This is extraordinary. I did not have much expectations about a formule 1 hotel but did not expect people do rude who could not care less and would leave CUSTOMERS waiting for so long under the rain because they can't be Bothered!
