« Far too basic »

This hotel was far too basic, providing only the minimum in comfort and badly needing renovation. It was not really very clean, so somewhat disturbing. The staff were helpful and nice and the breakfast , although basic, was ok.

« Very disappointing »

The hotel is very grubby, but, worst of all, when we returned for our second night, our rooms were occupied by other people and all of our possessions were in plastic sacks in a store room. We were then charged more money to spend a second night more expensively in the hotel because our booking had not been recorded correctly. We wrote a lengthy report about this for the manager and left it with the duty receptionist. We have not received any reply despite leaving our telephone number and e-mail address.

Positive - Excellent and courteous receptionist -Excellent shower with zooming hot water - Great value for money - Decent breakfast deal for 3.50 Euros Negatives - Even being late May, it was extremely hot in the room during the day when outside temperature was 28C. The room being on the top (first floor), with very low ceilings and tiny windows makes it into a tinderbox. If you're going to see so cheap as to not provide a table-fan (air-condition would be pipe dream for F1 hotels) at least have table fans to rent as its unbearably hot and humid. - Several of the light sensors in the toilet and shower do not work so you go in and lock the door and its pitch dark. Fix them.

Knotwilg it was a 1-star stay, we weren’t expecting much. The sheets of the bed were more or less clean, while the walls were dirty due to previous visitors. The Breakfast for 3,5€ was a pleasant surprise and eatable. Oh and last bot Not least, the toilet were horrible and the showers were clean.

« Slightly Rough at the Edges »

More or less what I expect when I stay at a F1 as I have done many times. However, the light at th bed i had chosen to use did not work; nor did the one above the work desk. These are relatively minor points, but it does indicate a maintenance and inspection failing. (Well, if there had been 2 of us in the Duo Room, it would have been a bit awkward unless the duty manager can replace defective units!). I did not mention these matters to the staff because i speak very little French! It is a pity that apple puree is no longer on the breakfast menu - I am a diabetic and prefer that to jam, which indeed I do not consume.

« Accor hotels should stop using their good name for these hotels »

We have visited Formule 1 many years ago, our experience then was: "basic hotel but still good hygiene and comfort." Our visit this weekend was far from good, hygiene was very bad. Overall experience was very disappointing. I really don't understand why accor hotels still want their name to be related to Formule 1. Maybe this was just a bad moment to be visiting, but something tells me this is the new standard for Formule 1....

General cleaning was very bad. Walls were dirty and we found cockroach inside the room.

It was nightmare stay. Dirty toilets and bathrooms. Horrible smell in the bedroom. The mosquitoes was biting us all night. No nests in the window. My child has more then 70 bites. Never again.

Noise from colocated toilets, Shared toilets, dirty linen, bugs on the floor, live spiders on the walls and flying mosquitoes. never sat on those toilets, didnt take shower and had to remove all insects from the room. Linen were replaced but were very old. They need to be replaced by new ones. Room 110 is by the wall with the toilets, so we got the noise of all used the toilets. Impossible to sleep. Total disaster. We want out money back. Better camping than staying at this place. 3.5Eur for breakfast without cheese, eggs of ham??? It's a steal.

Having spent many nights with Formule1 I didn't expect anything special. However! The bed had not been made and the sheets were full of pubic hairs. I did not bother telling the people in charge because they did not come across as being very approachable. I wish to ask for our money back and I can attach pictures.

It was a place to lay our head and it was cheap. It was good for that. But it was horribly dirty-the bathroom floors and showers had mold and were dirty.
