« An perfect hotel for your work trip »

My experience was excellent, I really enjoyed and rested while I was staying there. The room always was clean. The staff is kind, respectful and helpful. The lobby is a marvelous and beautiful place to share with other guest or to attend to your friends, boss or customer. The bar and restaurant serve good beers and meal, pizzas are delicious.

Due to his high price compared to the newest competition (like booking.com and Airbnb), you should improve your services and offer something relevantly different. i.e: faster check-ins, planned your rooms better to grant more space and offer a smoking area. about the room: I've stayed in São Paulo for two nights, in two different hotels: this one and the Ibis Budget. The Ibis Budget bedrooms are extremely badly planned. I can first comment about the bathroom of my room (a 3-people room with a double bed and a bunk bed on the top of it), the toilet is in a different place of the box shower. This can make an embarrassing arrangement, since after you shower, you have no place to dry yourself and get dressed without entering the bedroom itself wet and naked. Second: the smoke-free zone. You should've search the smokers grow estimate around the world. Today we have about 1.2+ billion smokers over the planet and this number is growing everyday. Not only cigarette, but pot as well. Even tho your rules are against about smoking, think about it before you keep losing clients to Airbnb. Basic statistics. Third: I can my hear next floor neighbor. His footsteps and toilet water flow. They weren't making a lot of noise, lucky I am, because if they were noisy, I would be doomed due to my soft sleep. Fourth: The Ibis Expo dont have an open able window. Think about claustrophobic person who rent a high price bedroom and can't open his window. An opened window let the pure air flows around the room and make it look like it's bigger, it's connected to the open space. This is an architecture failure, probably made by some bureaucratic administration rule. I have no complains about the employees. They are highly qualified and courteous indeed.

« Good location and service »

Great service. All was fine. Gym facilities worked well. As usual, the only minor remark is about the electronic key to access the room. This key stop working and we had to go to the reception to exchange for another one. However, this situation happens on the majority of Hotels. Perhaps the time has come to improve the technology on this basic thing.

« I left the hotel with sinusitis and bronchitis, as well as three other friends that were in other apartments. »

During the first night, I woke up feeling throat pain. At first, I thought it could be something related to the weather, nevertheless, three other friends that stayed at Ibis showed the same symptoms, while the others hosted in a different hotel didn't report anything. In summary, we ended up with one person in an asthma crisis, two with sinusitis and bronchitis, and another one with a two-day sick leave for respiratory problems.

The room was OK, but there simply was NO SPACE between the beds. Also, there were no light sheets to cover ourselves, we had to turn the air conditioning ON to use the sheets we had. There was no water to drink either, we would have had to call room service or get down to the bar to get some (impossible when you are about to sleep in your pajamas and need to take your medicine). All lights were yellowish, make up was almost impossible to put on (I had to use my cellphone's flashlight). The lights on the side of the bed were not focused, making the whole room lit and yet not the book (could not read without awaking my roommate). And last but not least, there was only 1 spare pillow instead of 2, after all it was supposed to be a double room.

The check-in is always taking a lot of time despite that I am a regular customer. Copy of passport, payment etc. most of the time takes around 10 min. I do not know why. In Joinville where I stay in another Hotel the check-in as regular customer is 1 second. 'Hello Mr. Den u., here is your key.' Thats it. Further it is disappointing that the TV channels are very limited and only offering Brasilian channels. Why there is no CNN or BBC for your international guests ? Also your Hotel near Cogonhas airport is offering the same very limited channels. I think for a International brand as IBIS is , you should improve this.

« Great attendants, but very plain hotel. »

I only have good words for each of the attendants I interacted with, in this hotel. I stayed just for one night, and all of them starting with car reception and then through front desk, restaurant, clerks, etc. are outstanding people committed to serve and always showing a smile. But the hotel infrastructure - although looks new - lacks personality. Too plain. The room had the basics, but made me feel like I was in a simple motel. Restaurant had no windows. Room didn't have a single picture. To spend a night for the price it's ok. For a week, I probably would not use it.
