« Very clean, free internet access questionable, hospitability experience quite mixed »

Absolute cleanless, high standards. The free internet access was unusable, but on the very same day there were some internet issues in Germany, so not quite clear why such situation in your hotel. Breakfast was a mixed experience - the lady on the wait to be seated desk was very stern, no smile at all. After I was seated, that lady was cleaning the table next to me, I have politely asked her if I could get a cappuccino, with her back to me without turning to me she answered she will bring it. The whole experience with that lady was very strange, maybe it was her bad day. On the other side the food - breakfast buffet was very rich and with equisit quality, as always the selection of bread was the highlight for me. Reception clerks were very helpful and friendly, but a little bit too "German" meaning I had a feeling to be well served but not with special enthusiasm.

Given 1 price charged another! Pre Paid One Night Hotel Charged again! Hotel great clean tidy just didn't expect to get tucked up? Great location we visited the boat show decent bar nice Breakfast . Cant see us staying there next year.

The service, room and breakfast were comparable to any other business package offer. Nothing less, nothing more. For the price I would expect something more than stadard. The room was very impersonal. Laktose free and Soya milk was missing at the breakfast. Little gift in the room would make the experience more personal. However, there was nothing to complain about.

« Generally good but bar staff/service disappointing. »

The check in staff and hotel room were all great. Sadly on the second night we wanted to have a drink in the bar before catching the tram to our restaurant. The waiter seemed perplexed that we would want to do this but we eventually sat at the bar on the stools there and he then took a phone call in front of us, talked a while then left, still on the phone and didn't return. We therefore left the bar area unimpressed as we could see him up the side corridor still on the phone.

Hotel is in a suburban commercial area with good access to public transportation. The rooms are a good size and bathroom is modern. My only complaint was that beds had thin mattresses and only one pillow and linens were pretty basic. They did bring us extra pillows when requested. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Following past experience I stay at this hotel when visiting Dusseldorf for business meetings. As per my previous experience the rooms are comfortable and clean. However, two incidents during this visit let me a bit disappointing. Despite having a double bed, the duvet was for single. It is quite irritating. There was another single duvet plus cover if one wanted. what happen to the full double bed duvet? Are hotels economizing? The second incident is even worse. when I tried to move the table in the room, the four screws of the table just fell on the table pedestal. These were not screwed. and to add insult to injuring, the next day even after the cleaning of the room, the crews were still on the pedestal were they fell. So the maids did not even bother to report this? Very poor service.
