« IT WAS WONDERFUL STAY »

From the staff, the food and the room service was second to none! The front office manager MiaoMiao made sure we were attended to at all times. Yvonne at the coffee shop was also nice and friendly and made us comfortable whenever we attended a meeting at the lounge. Oscar at the concierge was also great! called us taxi whenever we stepped out for mass and even took the risk to escort us to the road despite the snow. Thank you

Room was pretty spacious - our initial room's AC was not working well and service staff immediately upgraded us to a room that was even more spacious. Made my new year's an unforgettable one. International breakfast spread was awesome too. Thanks Sofitel Zhengzhou!

« I was very happy overall with no real complaints. »

My wife and I arrived. We were quickly and courteously checked in and shown to our room. The room was clean and luxurious. We ordered some items off of the sleep menu which were swiftly delivered. We called service a few times and our questions were answered. The next day we checked out without issue.

As always in the Sofitel Hotels, it was a very nice stay. The only problem I want to mention is, that it is too dark in the rooms. It is necessary to switch on 100 lights. But even then it is dark.

Got a free upgrade. Excellent and thoughtful room service/housekeeping. (eg: take out hairdryer from hairdryer bag; put towel mat on floor near bathtub) Althought malfunction of electric curtain, but managed to solve within a few minutes. I stayed 2 nights, first night i was offered a better menu for welcome drink, however on my second night, it was said that the menu was changed and could not enjoy some of the fruit juices. I think this can be more flexible to some times offer for customers. Nevertheless, highly recommend for their service.

« Beautiful room, club access privileges impressive but horrible spa and swinmming pool and irregular staff service »

Check-in perfect: We arrived one day before at Zhengzhou, the staff takes care of our bagagges and the next day our room was ready very early. No information about club access privileges was provided. You needto find this information in Booking or Agoda. Room perfect: Very nice room, perfectly clean. The housekeeping service clean our room two times during our stay. Point to improve : To have a coffe maker. Maybe the room light are a little dark. Swimming pool and spa horrible: In general the state of this area is not agree wirh the rest of the hotel. A renovation is needed. The spa was out of service and the swimming pool was cold. Club access privileges very good but difficult to find the description of your privileges: The staff doesn't know well the privileges. Particullary about "Le gouter". The timetable provided by email isn't good and "Le gouter" wasn't included. Some services are difficult to discover , you need to read all the documentation in your room. For example, bath foam is available without charge but you need to ask. It't easier to leave one bath foam directly in the bathroom. We ask for the wellcome fruit plate to club access front desk. After one hour without news, we call to main front desk. Speaking with three different personnes and no one was able to undestand us ("do you want a taxi?", "do you want to extend your stay?", "you need to pay one more night if you want to leave tomorrow...."). Finally we speak with the manager (european) and he take care of us and make interface with chinese staff. Finally we receive our fruit plate 2 hours later our first call. In general the level of english of the staff is not very good. The members of bagagge service were very useful and proactive and they have a very good english. Food very good but bakery could be improved: The set of cakes included in "Le gouter" are great. During the happy hour, the white wine are no refrigerated. The breakfast in main restaurent is very good (good yoghurt and juices,impressive coconut chicken with eggplant, pancakes...) but the bakery (croissant, pain au raisin ....) is not fresh, ok for chinese standard but not for 5 hotel. Check out ok but problem with late check-out: We had the privileges to make late check-out at 4pm but our key was inactivated after 2pm. We need to go to the main front desk to reactivate it. In conclussion, the stay with the club access privileges and the coaching of the manager was very nice but with some problems.

Impress by the friendly and well-trained staffs. Rooms are clean and tidy. The only sit-back is the Sauna was shut down and the bathtub was leaking.
