« Nice hotel »

Pullman at Bercy sees a lot of tourist traffic. Is in a great location , close to the netro station and the bercy village is a quaint place to shop and eat. The hotel makes staying in paris very comfortable and enjoyable

Not really happy with my expecience. No mention of construction when booking. Platinum member and expected at least to be upgraded especially for construction inconveniences. I booked your hotel to enjoy my AccorHotels benefits. Sorry, I won’t come back!

- A/C was not efficient as expected - Room was clean but out dated... time to change - Works in building was not a problem but two three times we had to wait the lift (2 instead of 4) - Personal was welcoming and always available for our questions

« Equally good and bad »

The worst aspect of the trip was out check in. Our rooms were not ready and we had to wait for two hours in the hotel bar with a small child and one drink coupon per adult. This was extremely irritating after a long trip and the reception staff was only mildly apologetic. The rest of the stay was decent with helpful staff and mediocre food served at breakfast.

« It was ok, but I expected more from a 4 star hotel. »

Positive The room was very nice, quiet and lots of space. Television with a big screen (but just one dutch channel). The cleaning ladies where very friendly. Metro station nearby. Negative The lady at the intake was more concerned with business customers, than with us. Each time a business customer arrived, we were put on "hold". There was no information about the hotel in our room.

« Not really what you would expect from a €200 a night hotel »

I felt like no one really could see things. It started in the room with a TV not working and no soda in the mini fridge. Then in the restaurant, the food took ages, and was over cooked. In addition, I had to watch the mouse run round the restaurant floor

« Good but not GREAT! »

Generally very good - the building work only caused a few issues. My bed was a little to soft for me and the shower head in my room was broken. I also had to go out and buy a razor, sometimes these have been supplied as part of the room facilities

« as you can expect from a pullman hotel »

room and hotel are very good. the people at the reception desk are always very friendly and recognize me when i arrive. the bar could be better, i drink every week a cocktail with the platinum voucher i receive, the quality of this cocktail is not always up to standard . often it is very weak in alcohol . this week i could taste my colleagues cocktail clearly in mine (cucumber taste in a bloody mary ...) . maybe the shaker was not cleaned well enough ?

« Nice despite the extensive renovations starting in the public spaces. »

I had a wait for an early check in (which is quite normal) but was then offered an upgrade to the 10th floor which was a pleasant surprise. I don’t find the bi-level suites on the 10th floor particularly functional (no space for clothes storage upstairs and no easy way (that I found) to turn all the lights on a floor off. However, the suites are an excellent place to get work done. I was surprised at the extent of the renovations (especially without a warning letter upon booking) and, although I appreciate the gesture of the decoration in the restaurant, I felt like I had enough reminders of the remodel and having an area free of renovations would have been nice. The staff member that welcomes you to breakfast was welcoming and friendly as always and she always makes me feel like I am “at home”. Her personal, friendly greeting each morning was a highlight (as usual).

Overall everything was OK, except for the fact there was no iron/ironing board in my room (while room description was saying there should be). No room upgrade was another minor disappointment.

Check in was poor. I was sent a questionnaire shortly before my visit. The address was wrong on the form - I corrected it. My address was still wrong at check in. The clerk said my booking did not include breakfast - I pointed out that it did. He apologised. I was then given a room with a connecting door even though I had specifically asked for the room not to have a connecting door - I have had sleepless nights in the past because of connecting doors. I looked at the room on the 6th floor and came down to the club check in. The clerk said there were no rooms in my category that did not have connecting door. He eventually found one on the 5th floor - it was an inferior room with no Nespresso machine but it did not have a connecting door . I accepted the change. Breakfast was in a gloomy cramped restaurant with a low ceiling - the scrambled egg was cold and there were no other hot egg options - yet the Pullman at Tour Eiffel offers many egg options. Bread and fruit excellent. Very friendly staff. I appreciate that the hotel is being refurbished but I did not feel I had received a 4 star experience. This visit was a disappointment - my previous visit had been glorious.
