There were large-scale renovations taking place during our stay so we were unable to see Pullman Bercy in it's full potential. The staff were at all times friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were rather basic and without plug sockets next to the beds, however the beds themselves were very comfortable and conducive to a great night's sleep. The complimentary room tea / coffee refills were variable on a daily basis (some days we did not receive any refills of coffee, others days we were missing milk, on two occasions we were not given any biscuits). Overall a good experience however.

« Very disappointing, not what I usually expect from Pullman. »

I just stayed for 2 nights and I had a number of disappointments and issues. When I checked in, I was asked if it was my first time at the hotel (after retrieving my records). As a loyal customer of this hotel for more than a decade, this in not really a welcoming message. I was checking in near to midnight after a long journey. I was not offered a welcome drink and there was no discussion of room upgrades related to my Accor club status. When I was given a room, it was room 321 - which is a very disappointing room. Almost no window (just a small window on one wall and a small slit on the other). The air conditioning was working but not very well - and was unable to decrease the temperature in the room below 78F. The outlet pipe on the sink was partially blocked such that even a small amount of water ended up in the sink rather than flushing away as normal - quite nasty even when just brushing teeth. Since it was near to midnight (and I only had a short stay), it was still good to get to bed. The following day, when I returned from work, the corridor door that separates the 2 rooms at the end of the corridor (321 and, I think 320) from the rest of the rooms on the floor was locked and my key would not open it. My key was changed at reception but still would not work. One of the staff from reception then came with me, but no luck. Still waiting in a very hot corridor. Hamid returned again with 2 keys and neither worked. After a while a maintenance worker came, opened the door and started to fix it so it would stay open. After a brief discussion he let me into my room (so I could join an ongoing teleconference). Hamid returned from the front desk with keys to my room, but they did not function so he made one last trip and came back with a key and said that he had to use another computer. He was excellent and took it upon himself to fix the issue but it did take him many trips to finally get a key that worked and it still did not solve the initial issue of the corridor door. With all the renovations ongoing, the hotel is not the relaxing space it used to be, so being left in the corridor for an extended period was not pleasant. One very bright point, as usual, was the very friendly welcome at breakfast. Personal recognition, being greeted by name, genuine smiles. I like the removal of the construction theme in the restaurant. It was a nice idea but with no place to escape the construction, I didn’t find it either cute or interesting. Much better now and you forget the construction in the rest of the lobby area. On my second morning, breakfast was busy but not unusually so but I was not offered a coffee or drink. When I took my cup and headed to the Nespresso machine, the lady from the breakfast check in (sorry, I don’t know her name despite talking with her for years) immediately saw me, took my cup, knew what I usually have (double espresso with warm milk) and got it for me. A great Pullman experience and rescued my stay from “Extremely Disappointing “ to just “Disappointing “. I had a very early flight on Saturday morning so I checked out of the Pullman and in to the Sheraton at CDG. That very brief stay was faultless - great, friendly check in, had my records despite me staying there very infrequently, the room was perfect - large room, working air, working bathroom, lots of outlets, free water, nice (airport) view, very quiet and relaxing - and an excellent, efficient v early morning check-out. And it was less expensive than the Pullman. I was too early for breakfast but was offered complimentary room service breakfast if I chose. I did not. I was expecting the airport stay to be a chore but it turned into a highlight. This stay will probably not stop me coming to the Pullman Bercy but I think it was my least enjoyable stay in my >16 years of being a guest.

« My stay was satisfactory »

This is the second consecutive year I stayed at Pullman Bercy. My experience was satisfactory. The only negative thing was that as your hotel was undergoing renovations, the smell of construction dust was noticeable in our room. I happen to be allergic to dust. That was not pleasant. The gentleman at the reception "JEROME" was exceedingly helpful and a true professional !!!

A friendly, warm and kind greeting at reception was indeed a perfect start to our vacation. For this we would like to send a heartfelt Merci Beaucoup to Loureen. You made us feel important and welcome at the Bercy Pullman. You are an outstanding individual and should be commended for your superior customer service skills. In spite of hotel improvements being made in the lobby, this hotel maintained cleanliness at the highest standard. Nice touches for the guests in the lobby included a refreshing flavoured water throughout the day and mini muffins each morning. This hotel is situated at the foot of Bercy Village where one can stroll and find nice shops, restaurants (loved Eric Kayser and Chai 33) and a Carrefour Express for those snacks and grocery items you may wish to buy. Also, near the hotel is the beautiful and peaceful Bercy Park which has nice gardens, water features and trails. More importantly the Metro Line 14 is easily accessible with a few minutes walk. Free wifi is available with excellent reception. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. A superb stay made even more pleasant by the exceptional Bercy Pullman staff.

« Clean room, good location. Breakfeast was OK, but not worth the price. »

The room was OK, but I was unfortuately on the first floor next to the terrace, so I had no privacy without keeping the cutains shut. There was some construction going on at the time which cause some noise. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable. The breakfeast was OK, but definately not worth what they were charging. The eggs, unless you ordered them separately, were disgusting. This was comment most of my collegues had. To get a coffee, one had to wait a while. I was there a couple of days, and it was the same each day.

« No-nonsense Paris »

This is an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Paris, especially in the summer since the hotel is close to the delightful Bercy Park and the Seine. The air is breathable in this neighborhood! It's also a few steps from a Métro line that will take to Central Paris in minutes, - we walked to the Louvre. The Lyon and Bercy stations are a shortish walk away. Best of all worlds. The hotel has everything most people will need, the staff is friendly, and the rooms spacious. The latter fact makes a pleasant difference from most rooms in the historic centre.
