« Perfect for a Paris break »

Lovely location next to Bercy Village and close by Metro station which meant we could be in Paris centre within 15 minutes. Hotel was perfect for our needs - the staff were excellent, the room was modern with air-con so comfortable during the hot weather. Breakfast was a treat and everywhere was lovely and clean. Would certainly stay there again and happy to recommend.

« Excellent night in Paris »

The hotel is extremely clean and tidy in a great location. The staff are amazing - some of the most friendly hotel staff I have every encountered. Its also a quiet place - no noise in the hotel rooms. Great location close to a small area with cinema, restaurants and bars

« Not the amazing Pullman Brand I've come to love »

We stayed here over Easter for 4 nights. I'm a Platinum Accor member and absolutely love Pullman Hotels across the world, but this was not one of them. There was nothing majorly wrong with the hotel, but it just didn't have the Pullman spark. I didn't feel welcomed like I normally do in Pullman hotels - maybe this is because I got a Parisian welcome that's known throughout the world. The rooms were ok, although I'd normally receive an upgrade and we were only offered one on our last night - but given that we were checking out of the hotel at 5am we declined the upgrade - no point loving for only a few hours before we left. The location was ok - close to the metro and that came in handy. No Executive Club lounge as is normal in Pullman hotels across Asia/Pacific. The Gym was also lacking. Seemed like an after thought. Some more weights would be appreciated. The bed was comfortable, so that was good. Unfortunately we were just disappointed - mainly because we've come to expect a lot more from Pullman hotels and this wasn't up to scratch.

Dear InkosiAU, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your feelings regarding your last stay. I am very sorry that you were disappointed. We were not able to offer an upgrade earlier as the hotel was full for Easter. We are currently working on Platinium offers and hope you will be able to experiment it soon. Please be assured our priority is to satisfy our guests. Best regards, Axelle Hartmann Guest Experience Manager

« Nice and clean hotel with great breakfast. »

Even though Bercy Pullman ist not situated the centre of Paris, I would still highly recommend it. Firstly, there is a metro near from the hotel. So you can easily access every place of the city and the area (Bercy) is really nice and safe. Then the rooms are clean (believe me for Paris it is a rarity) and modern. Finally, the breakfasts are simple amazing! The only possible drawback can be the price (but Paris is not a cheap place anyway)

As always, perfect staff, always helpful and friendly, always very Professional. You are greeted by name on arrival, always asked if staff can help you With anything, met in an open, clean and inviting lobby. Absolutely recommend this hotel to all. Have been going there about once a month for the past ten years.

« Very nice and nicely situated hotel »

I had a very nice stay there. Upon arrival I was offered a free upgrade from a superior room to a duplex suite (I am a silver accor member). That was such a nice treatment. Big thanks to the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name). Staff is great, breakfast was really nice. Location is 5 minute walk from Cour st emilion metro, very nice neighborhood.

« Needs more attention »

I've been staying at the Pullman about once a month for the past 10 years now, and enjoy coming back every time. The staff is always attentive, polite and efficient, the rooms are normally clean, spacious and modern. My last stay was less impressive. I had booked a Delux Room. I have always previously has an iPod docking station/radio, which I use to charge my phone. This room, 806, had none. I called the reception to have one brought up. While I waited for a reply, i noticed the night table was damaged, as the laminate was peeling off next to where the head would rest on the pillow, with sharpish edges. My eyes strayed to the sheets, which turned out to be stained. I went down to the lobby, and the man at the reception (very friendly), informed me that they could not install the Bose radio. I mentioned the other issues with the room, and he immediately offered to change the room. Being a Platinum member, I asked if an upgrade was available, and was offered a junior suite 620. The room was nice and spacious, but there again, I feel that Pullman needs to go over the rooms, and solve simple problems. The two light fixtures in the bathroom were hanging from the ceiling out of their sockets, and the laminate from the minibar cabinet was peeling halfway off. I always wonder how often rooms are inspected for such details by staff other that cleaners. I feel like a simple checklist, once a week, by a separate staff member, should take care of these problems. ie: is the TV working? Are all the lights working? Is there mold in the bathroom? Are the light switches broken? Do laminated panels need gluing? Is the minibar filled? etc. The room was an upgrade, but I know I would have been very upset had a paid full price for the junior suite. Especially since there are the rooms staff should pay more attention to. I will be coming back to the Pullman, but I sincerely hope they can keep the rooms in good shape, or value for money soon will be an issue that will have me consider other hotels in town.

« Outstanding people make this hotel special »

I stay at this hotel 2-4 times per year, and have done so for a number of years now. Those are personal trips, so I have a choice as to where I book a room. This hotel is truly a pleasure to stay at. The hotel itself is modern and well cared-for. Though a bit away from the center of Paris, the location itself is very nice, quiet, and safe. Nearby Bercy Village offers a range of shops and dining. A station for Métro line 14 is at the village, which makes getting into the city very quick and easy (a few minutes and you're at Chatelet, Pyramides, or Madeleine in the heart of Paris). The breakfast buffet is well-stocked and offers a range of hot and cold options, and the waitstaff is quick, friendly and efficient. If you are able, I would recommend booking at least a Deluxe room, as those are on higher floors and provide nice views. For me the biggest attraction of the Pullman is the staff. Many of them have worked there for years and take the time to get to know the guests. As someone who has become "a regular" of a sort, they recognize me immediately and know me by name. I find that to be a part of the charm of what could otherwise be an impersonal hotel experience. The people at the Pullman really make the "large hotel" experience feel like you're staying with friends or family. That's a testament to the type of folks they hire (and retain) there, and I place a high value on that type of traveling. The Pullman is a home away from home, a place where you're greeted warmly and sincerely each time you enter the lobby. They take the time to offer whatever assistance you might need, whether you are visiting Paris for the first time or have been there quite often and are looking for something different to do. They consistently offer excellent advice. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with a stellar staff. Highly recommended!

« A place to stay in Paris in the future »

It was a very good experience, and i will for sure consider this hotel next time i visit Paris. Location: with very good access to all points , metro is just 2 minutes away. If you are visiting for turism it may not be perfect because you will take same time to get to the major sites. On the other hand you will have quality price that you won't find in the centre. Hotel: love it. Clean ,very spacious, everyone is very nice and always there to help. Nice room and bath with everything you need. Breakfast with good quality for european standards. Just opposite to the hotel you will find a little village with same shops, restaurants, supermarket, cinema. Definitely a place to return

« Springsteen Show »

The Pullman staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the room although on the first floor overlooking the front entrance was dark, it was clean and very quiet, I suppose we could have asked to change, but we were only there for 3 nights to see Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band at the Accor Hotels Arena and the Springsteen road crew were also staying at the Pullman. The breakfast was awesome, spoils for choice and would definitely stay here again in the future

« Peace and quiet - and Paris too »

This is an excellent base for a visit to Paris. It's not in the centre of town, but then again a modern Métro-line (no 14) will take you there in minutes, or take a pleasant walk along the Seine river for 45 minutes to Notre Dame. The Bercy and Gare de Lyon train stations are nearby for your onward travel. The 'Village de Bercy' is right next to the hotel: It's a former wine storage area with restaurants and cafés. The charming Bercy park is next door.. Full marks for location. The hotel itself is modern, call it bland, or call it efficient as you wish. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is fine; there is a lobby bar. In most rooms you cannot open the windows (I wish hotels - not just this one - would inform you of that fact).

« Poor value for money and very bad service »

As Platinum A-club member, I was deeply disappointed with the poor service quality of this Pullman: no personal welcome letter, no upgrade (good rooms were reserved by others receptionists, very strange!), no welcome gift, we booked a special rate with an exhibition entry but when we asked for our tickets, one receptionist asked around then advise us to go to the exhibition, buy tickets by ourselves then come back with a receipt to get a refund.. What a mess! What else, the bad is bad, and the breakfast is very very crowded, even at 8 in the morning. to the management team: courage!

« Great as always »

As always, a great stay at the Pullman Paris Bercy. Staff is very welcoming and attentive, and coming back to the Pullman feels like coming home. One small negative note - the room service menu. I've been coming to this hotel pretty much monthly for the past ten years, and a few years back, the menu was excellent, and hte food always great. At my last stay in December, I was back late from a meeting, and ordered a pizza. The pizza, costing 22 eur plus 5 eur for the delivery (five euros to bring food in the elevator seems also excessive), and it turned out the pizza was a badly microwave heated frozen pizza that costs less than 5 euros in any shop. This was even more disappointing since the pizza was cold and soggy in the middle. I had not eaten all day, and was not looking forward to a debate on the phone on the quality of the food, so I ate it, but seriously, this type of meal has nothing to do in a four star hotel. How hard is it to take out a frozen base from the freezer, add tomato sauce, ham and cheese and stick it in the oven for ten minutes... (NOT THE MICROWAVE). This time, I just went out to nearby Bercy Village for dinner. Shame. Same with the Caesar Salad which was amazing a few years back, and now just ok. I really feel like Pullman should do something about the menu. And for gods sake, take the pizza off the menu, or take the extra few minutes to make a proper one. It's just not dignified for your hotel.

« Another great stay »

This is my third stay in this hotel and, each time, I come out of this experience extremely satisfied. The room was great with a nice view on the Seine river, the location is fantastic (near Bercy-Village and the subway line 14) and the service was impeccable. One small issue: the time change for breakfast on Saturday morning which made us miss it: I wished I had been told that the service stopped at 10 instead of 11.

« A great hotel for many reasons »

I have stayed at a number of Accor properties around the world throughout the years, and have returned repeatedly to the Pullman Bercy whenever I visit Paris. I see it as an exceptional hotel. While the hotel itself is excellent, what really makes it stand out is the staff. Over the years I have been fortunate to interact with Margaux, Céline, Julie, Justine, and Agnieska - all of whom have been wonderfully helpful. Any questions or requests are handled promptly and with a smile. It really is a pleasure dealing with them. So too is the case with the restaurant staff - Nadia and Marta are welcoming and quickly respond to requests. I realize that's a lot of names, but the point is that there's far more than one person at the Pullman who knows how to treat guests well. They all make an extra effort and follow up to make certain everything worked out well. I love the personal service they provide. The hotel is modern and the rooms are well-appointed. If it is within your budget, I recommend that you consider a Deluxe room or above, as those rooms afford a better view of the surroundings. From many of the better (higher floor) rooms you can see one or more Paris landmarks, like Sacré-Coeur, the Pantheon, and Notre Dame de Paris. The rooms with the best views typically have full-length windows and therefore feel more spacious too. The bathrooms are bright, clean, and laid out well, with "rain" showerheads (at least in the rooms I've been given). The beds are large, plush, and comfortable. Breakfast offers a broad selection of hot and cold options, and the food is quite good. As I already noted, service has been consistently attentive, even when the restaurant is busy. The hotel is perfectly-located - near enough to the center of the city for easy access, yet just far enough away to feel that you're in Paris with others who live there rather than just visit. As to being close, Métro line 14 takes you to Chatelet or Pyramides in less than 10 minutes. That makes reaching the heart of the city or getting to and from the airport via RER B simple and efficient. With all the hotel has to offer, from the staff to the location to the views, I would not hesitate to recommend it.

« Excellent Business or Family Hotel »

Professional, clean, hotel with wonderful service by all of the staff who ensure that all of your needs are met. Large, clean and comfortable rooms, the included full breakfast is excellent. Half a block to Bercy Village with dozens of dining options, and although it is located just outside of the city centre / main tourist areas, the close subway access makes it ideal. An excellent choice for the Business traveler or family. Note that depending upon traffic the trip from Charles de Gaulle can take from 20 minutes up to an hour. A two person shuttle is approximately 60 Euros. Well worth the stay.
