Modern, spotlessly clean hotel in good location for transport either into Birmingham city centre or out to Birmingham airport. Friendly efficient staff, decent breakfast. Room well kept and very clean. Secure and free car parking a bonus also.

It was ok something just I noticed that the telephone was not set up in English so I struggle to contact the information that whenever I need something I have to go down in the reception and I even asked the receptionist but unfortunately they can’t change the language in the phone and I guess the heater in the room wasn’t working that time because it was a little cold then.

Comfortable room, everything you need, third time I have stopped here. Was cold the first night, no heat coming through the vent. Was offered a heater when I asked next morning, but I was out the rest of the weekend. The heating for room 323 needs looking at. I think there should be a better system for getting in at night, you have to ring a bell at a gate on the perimeter fence, it’s in quite a dark isolated area next to a main road with nobody about except beggars and the gate is locked from quite early in the evening. I’m usually coming back on my own about 11 so it’s a bit scary. Better lighting or a keycard system for the gate would be good.

I have stayed her a few times now and the staff are amazing , the rooms are clean with no issues. I stay as a single woman business traveler and I feel quite comfortable in this environment. I had dinner and this was decent served quickly

We stayed here to visit the motorbike show at the NEC and Frankfurt christmas market, was a good location for both. We walked into the city for Christmas shopping and got the bus back for £1.50 each (no 60), really comfy bed, would have been better if had more wardrobe space as was staying for 3 nights.

A friend and myself had booked a room with twin beds through booking.com. When we arrived we were told that there were no rooms with twin beds available. I explained that £131 was a lot of money to pay and not have the room that we had booked. A gentleman who I assume was a manager came over and quickly resolved the issue for us by finding another room. The room was nice although the bathroom was very small. The hotel has a nice bar/reception area. We enjoyed our stay overall, although felt that the room was a little over priced.

Good welcome, had a few issues when booking with discount but notes on the computer so all front desk team could see what was due/owing. Clean room, comfy bed, breakfast missing baked beans!

« Poor Service »

Asked want time restaurant opened. Told 6pm. Turned up promptly at 6 and sat at a table. No one else there. Staff could see me but ignored me. I assumed I'd got it wrong and it opened at 6.30. Other people arrived and were ordering at the bar. When I asked if the restaurant was open they said yes. I said I've been sitting here since 6. They said we only take orders at the bar up to a certain time. Previous evenings I was served at the table. I am livid. There are no signs saying such. Surely they could have worked it out that I was there to eat and come over to tell me to order at the bar. Will never come here again
