We recently stayed here for just one night. The bedroom was comfortable however the bathroom could have been better. It's clean but very compact. Staffs were friendly at front desk. Over all experience satisfactory.

We usually stay at Ibis Hotel, Bordersley Circus, once a year and have never had cause to complain. However, we asked for a quiet room and was put in a room facing the main road, which was quite noisy during the night from people going to and from the hotel. The air-conditioning wasn't working on one of the hottest days of the Year and the bathroom door was jammed so it would not shut properly. We expected a better service after paying £125 for one night (inclusive of early and late checkout).

service and breakfast good, gate to car park closed on arrival for the safety of the cars first time experienced this over four years. have experienced good evening food although a limited menu. Area of hotel on a very busy junction. However. you are not affected by the noise within the room as I have used this hotel ten times have stayed in various rooms on all sides of the buiding.

« 4 nights room at back 3rd floor »

Hello. I enjoyed staying at Ibis. Points which affected my stay:- 1. Room still remains noisy room at back. Not sufficient air inside room unless window open but too too noisy. This spoilt my sleep and comfort. Air condition not sufficient air and very noisy. 2. When arriving on two nights staff took ages opening gate. My husband nearly wet himself as he needed the toilet. When we entered we saw three staff all serving alcohol. Not one opened the gate for us in good time. We buzzed around 7 times. 3. Cleaner comes too quickly disturbing my sleep. I needed to sleep . 4. Clean Room. Plughole very slow to pass water through. 5. beds clean. 6. carpets need changing very DIRTY. I asked for a quiet room but I still got a one near traffic. Maybe I will ask for one on the opposite side. Overall I still enjoyed my stay but hope above points can be rectified for another stay at Ibis. Thank you very much

Only question I have about my stay is about online check in, why? I still had to fill a form in when I arrived at the hotel? As far as I could see I had to do exactly the same at the hotel whether I had checked in on line or not! Polite request don’t ask me to check in on line if I still have to do it on arrival saves me no time and just puts an unnecessary additional step in the process. Overall though I found staff to be polite and helpful and for the price it was fine.

Check inn was ok wasn’t really greeted though requested a late check out which was given although the member of staff was not aware of the silver membership benefits. Was awoken in the morning of arguing in the car park I was on the 2nd floor and this was going on directly below I understand things can happen which staff have no control over but on check out nothing was said. Overall the hotel is nice but just not very welcoming as a loyal customer with Accor I have experienced better customer service.

Overall good experience. only down point was the bathroom ventilation. Which was not on through out my stay. The staff explained that it was set to come on certain time of the day. After I had my shower the bathroom got completely steamed up, I have to open the bedroom window to get fresh air in.

« Too hot and too noisy! »

I’ve stayed with you on several occasions and have more stays booked. Staff are always kind and helpful and rooms are very comfortable. But for each stay I’ve asked in advance for a quiet room at the back, away from traffic. But that’s only happened once so far. I had room 104 and had a decent sleep. The air cooling units aren’t very good, so the window has to be left open. And the road noise is dreadful. I have to get to sleep early for an early start for work, so a noisy, sleepless night isn’t very helpful. Please may I have quieter rooms in future! Thank you.

Relaxing break..away..needed...to see Lego discovery centre...and the Bull Ring to do some awesome shopping and to find a restaurant..as been told that Birmingham has the best currie houses..went to the Menzel Curry house.
