« Comfortable but with a few niggles »

Room was comfortable but male staff were lacking in customer service skills. One girl stood out as helpful but this was not our overall experience. Only stayed one night but generator(?) noise in the bedroom did not aid sleep.

« Hardest bed I've ever had »

The mattress topper was so uncomfortable it was unreal. I struggled to sleep and woke up with pain down my side, much like when you sleep on the floor whilst camping. I think the floor was more comfortable than my bed

« Really made welcome. »

It was a lovely few days for both my friends and I. We are both disabled and things were just right. If we asked for something the staff did their B. to do this for us. The only thing that did not seem right was the way some of the staff didn't even smile. If you are doing a job where visitors are involved, then a smile is always more welcoming.

Lovely room but not enough towels or toilet rolls, staff could have smiled and to more to make you feel welcome, the fire alarm went off at 7am on Sunday morning, breakfast was lovely.

Got there very late but staff excellent Only issue was a very loud person in the next room shouting. I told the guy on reception and he was great and sorted straight away Small room but clean and lovely breakfast

Comfortable and clean. Good air conditioning. Service quick and friendly, everyone helpful. Good to have USB charge points. Room spacious. Parking was problematic as taxis blocked entrance on two occasions. Shower also bled water to the bathroom floor due to gap between glass door and floor. Led to soggy floor

I have been staying in ibis Bordesley Circus probably over 20 times in the past few years. This is a nice hotel, particularly the staff have been very helpful and efficient. The rooms are much improved after the refurbishment work.

« Lovely little hotel close to Birmingham City Football »

Very welcoming staff on checkin. On check out I was able to leave my suitcase as I head to an interview (which I mentioned to the receptionist and she asked how it went when I returned after). Room was a food size with a comfy but firm bed. Good sized tv. Lovely big walk in shower.

I was not happy about my stay for 2 reasons: Housekeeping was very noisy in the corridor in the morning, disturbing sleeping. The bed was very lacking in comfort.

Friendly Staff. Door to Bathroom was noisy to open and close. My door card would not open door on one occasion (other guests had same problem). Would have liked fried egg for breakfast. Thought £8.95 was expensive for what was on offer. Liked the shower, plenty of hot water and room. 1 day our room was not cleaned. If ever I came back to Birmingham I would stay here again.
