The booking and check-in process was easy and I felt that the customer service exceeded my expectations. The staff were welcoming and made every effect to ensure that I was informed about the facilities. The quality of the food and presentation was good I would have no hesitation staying there again.

I used this hotel because of its proximity to London. I normally stay closer to London but because it was the weekend of The London Half Marathon, the London Hotels were all more than I like to pay. Ibis Thurrock was available at a bargain price, had ample parking and far exceeded my expectations of comfort

Very comfortable bed! Would have liked two pillows each as an option. Couldn't call down to reception as there was no phone in the room. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was powerful. Again would have liked a couple more towels as there were only two for two people and no hand towel. And teaspoons for the tea not those sticks please. Overall a pleasant, comfortable stay.

No frills but a clean room, good service and half decent food all at a very reasonable cost. Not the cheapest bar/restaurant but it`s perfect when you`ve had a long day and just want to relax. Staff are very helpful and friendly at all times in my experience. I`ll stay again whenever I`m in the area.

« Fantastic Staff Make The Stay Great »

Having stayed at numerous hotels over a two week period in the UK this one whilst one of the cheapest ranked high on my satisfaction list. I found all the staff to be genuinely happy and friendly people, mostly from Eastern Europe. They made me feel valued as a customer and that nothing was any bother. I can't say I felt this in some of the other hotels I stayed in (which had more stars) in the UK. The room was clean, with no real issue with proximity to motorway. Breakfast and Dinner options were all satisfactory. Will stay again when in the area.

Everything was good except for access I had walked from train station when I reached hotel it appeared to be fenced off so I walked back along main road then found that I had to walk all the way back to find the entrance it could. The way in could have been shown better to pedestrians if not for that the hotel would have had a 10

Basic but clean room. The only complaints are: 1) the bathroom door was very stiff and noisy, waking up either me or my roommate in turn; and 2) We gave up on the idea of breakfast because the restaurant was too busy and we couldn't find a table

Woken by guests talking outside my room in the early morning. Managed to get to sleep again and consistently awoken between 0510 and 0554. There appears to be no notices to guests to keep quiet/act responsibly(?)..........can't remember seeing any. Do you have cctv on each floor and noise monitors? Just not good enough! Breakfast OK but lukewarm at best........cold beans not to everyone's taste.
