Cleanness was better than the previous trip. Unfortunately the carpets is the "black point" of this hotel.

« No Air condition and very bad behavior from the personal »

I paid for the room in advance, and once I get into the room I have no air-condition: the reason is that the air-condition do not work and the temperature outs was of 29 celsius and at night 24 celsius It was impossible to sleep after spending 10 hours in the road driving.

Regardless that the personnel did a good job on the service, the rooms need urgent maintenance and investment. Just 2 towels (no hand towel at all) in the bathroom, obviously old floors, lack of paint, etc.

Ibis was a nuce motel , but the noise from the park made it unbearable to sleep . The receptionist moved us to another room when we mentioned it. Staff were amazing

Trying to be objective, this Ibis is not of a standard that you would reasonably expect. The accommodation corridors have carpet that is inexcusably dirty and the rooms are at best 'tired'. The only public area that is close to expectation is the bar and reception area. Breakfast is acceptable but if you are brave enough to sample the menu for dinner, good luck. The food is virtually inedible. Fortunately Hermann at reception redeemed himself by being friendly and helpful after the initial check-in which was like something out of Faulty Towers where we were greeted by 'you haven't paid'. This being despite the Accor Hotels website saying that the rate we were paying was paid instantly and non refundable! Apparently this was a quirk of the Accor Hotels system and applied uniquely to bookings for Argentina and was something that you were well aware of for years, if so get it sorted... Oh, and don't have a pre-registration 24 hours beforehand if it is going to be ignored just as the request for a taxi from the airport had been at the time of booking. The fact that Hermann offered to take off the 21% IVA then and there was a positive as this benefit to tourism given by the Argentine government was something that wasn't voluntarily offered elsewhere on our travels. In summary, keep Hermann and the housekeeping staff but give their like a bit of help by having reasonable products and systems that are kept up to the Accor standard. Yours staff are an asset but your offer in this case does not do them or your guests justice.
