After a long flight (incl. transfers) of 16 hours, we finally arrived 05.00 am in Mendoza. Our booking was confirmed via friends for only 1 night. Our final destination was another address in Mendoza. Unfortunately, the room wasn't made up and we had to change the room to another level, with all the luggage we had. We had only 5 hours of sleep. After complaining, there was no compensation for a late check out after 12 or at least a cup of coffee/light breakfast.

To be fair the staff was very nice, friendly, and professional. We also appreciated the fact that there was a full buffet-style breakfast included, which is uncommon in other Ibis hotels I stayed before in Brazil. Having said that, we had several issues with this last Ibis hotel. First and foremost, our room had a very smelly bathroom. Reception was notified and they said they'd send someone over to fix it. They probably did it because the smell improved some, but it never completely went away. The room had two single beds, and due to the way the room was organized, both beds were practically touching each other. It felt crammed in there. Last, but not least, the location of this hotel is far from the city center, restaurants, and bars. Despite the nice staff and breakfast I would not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel building is very very old and unfortunately the experience it was too poor the worst of all times that I expend at IBIS HOTEL. The bathroom has a smell of sewage, the employees are rude and bad trainned, the Towels are dirty and Clean is sort of.

There was a strong sewer odor emanating from the bathroom. We asked the cleaning staff and they contacted the folks in charge of plumbing but they could not solve it. Other than that, the location is good and the price is reasonable.

Unlike every other ibis I stayed in. Old, poorly manteined facilities. Very bad location. Breakfast was low quality, low variety. Never gave the welcome drink according to LeClub policies. Charged me for the room despite the email from accor.com saying that the stay was completely paid and stating clearly “Amount to be paid at hotel: 0”.

The only remarkable memories were the front desk employees. Really nice and professional. Good breakfast Dinner incredibly expensive for the bad quality of the food. Bad odor in bathroom. Shower temperature kept alterning between ice cold and burning hot within seconds. Shampoo felt like detergent. Clean sheets. Have stayed at better Ibis.

I reserved the hotel as a transit hotel arriving at 1.00AM in the morning and having to travel on within a few hours. Having some Accord points, I reserved two rooms using those points. With low expectations of the type of accommodations, the check-in was a bit lengthy but ok, the key to one of the rooms did not work (the door would not open), so they changed the room, and then, the next morning at check-out, we got the surprise that the two rooms reserved with points only really paid for one room. The reason given was that the value of the coupon was insufficient.
